Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

Do either of you play modded, like Feed the Beast? If not, you aren't doing it right! :P

Death to vanilla!

Vanilla does suck, but when I use modpacks like ftb, I get horrible framerate.
Hurray, we're in. Now to write our IC posts.

And for those who were wondering, it was singleplayer.

I stopped playing mc a long time ago. It got boring for me. There's only so much mining and crafting you can do before it gets tedious.

I think I need friends to play this with.
I had my post done ahead of time, suckers!

It only took me, like, an hour or so to write.
A baby was crying in its crib, loud and wailing. It squirmed as it screamed, kicking and flailing as it begged for attention. Soon, it was lifted up with gentle arms, and it slowly stopped crying as it slowly rocked back and forth.

"There there, my child," said a woman with a calm and soothing voice. "There there." The baby began to coo and laugh, reaching out to the woman with its tiny arms, and the woman placed a finger onto one of the baby's hands. This continued on for some time, and the baby began to grow tired and fall asleep. The woman placed the baby back in its crib, sighing gently in relief as she stared happily at the baby's slumbering form, and headed elsewhere to prepare for daily events. As she entered another room, she spotted a stranger looking through her belongings. The stranger looked over to see the woman, and the two stared at teach other in surprise. The woman was about to scream for help when something cold and hard entered her back, causing a wave of pain to assault her body. The strangers ran, and the woman slowly bled to death, her soul leaving her body.

Everything faded from her perception. Her sight, her body, her memories, everything. The woman's consciousness no longer had the strength to hold onto such things, barely even aware of itself. It remained there for what could have been an eternity. Her consciousness itself would have surely faded away as well were it not for a single word. The word was not heard, it was felt. Such power and such authority it commanded.

'Come.'

And so, the woman's consciousness came from the depths of the void. It was no longer aware of what it was or why it did what it did, but the strength of the consciousness grew. It gained power, vast and incredible, yet also benevolent and gentle. It regained emotions and senses. As it gained a form, a beautiful woman with beautiful white hair and smooth, feathery wings, it was spat out from the void into... another void. This one, however, was filled with other beings. They, too, were filled with vast and incredible power, some similar to and others even more so than her own. At once, she understood them, who they were and what they were. Fate and Amul'Sharar, the two most prominent to her. It was Fate who spoke to her and gave her what she was.

"Your name is Niciel, and you are become Light, guardian of Purity," Fate said to her.

Niciel bowed her head respectfully, then waited as more beings appeared to the void in which they inhabited.
<Snipped quote by Hael>

I'm with Hael on this one since I wasn't as detailed or Lovecraftian as many others...

Me too. I was part of the last version of this rp, and even I'm worried I won't make it.
So many discussions about relationships. A pity my goddess Niciel won't have any, unless they're long-term and committed.

That is incredibly boring, but it's life.
@Kho Is my CS accepted? Or rather, what should be improved to be accepted?

((also i know it's supposed to be in a hider, i'll post it in one when it gets accepted))

He's not accepting anything right now, and won't be until tomorrow.
Man, there are a crap top of us waiting for this. I can't imagine how tough it must be for Kho to manage this many people, even with Co-GM help.
Tori noticed that the tension had not eased between the woman and the group, despite their efforts. Tori was still too nervous to say anything. She briefly wondered if she should when the three lizard creatures appeared again, still panicking. The red woman seemed to notice that something was amiss, making Tori curious as to what that would be. That question was quickly answered when odd green tendrils of light appeared. They looked pretty to Tori, but the woman was definitely afraid of them, as proven by the way she acted. Tori then made the wise decision to run for her life, away from whatever was chasing them.

Tori had lost track of time as she ran. All she cared about was getting someplace safe, away from all the danger. Surprisingly, she managed to avoid tripping on any roots and was able to keep up with the others. Eventually they reached some sort of road with paved stones. The things that had been following them were stopped by some invisible barrier, and Tori was able to get a good look at them for the first time. Naturally, Tori had no idea what they were, but she couldn't help but admire just how magnificent they looked. Sure, they also looked incredibly menacing and dangerous, but beautiful in their own way. The mob of beasts soon moved away, though, with Tori still looking at them as they left.

The situation finally calmed down now, which Tori was grateful for. She then noticed just how tired she was, and she lied on her back as she breathed somewhat heavily, looking up at the sky. Tori then turned her head to her side, her eyes resting on a knife in a leather sheath on the ground. Pushing herself up, Tori got a better look at it and gingerly picked it up by the handle. Pulling the knife out, Tori admired it for a few moments before putting it back in the sheath. Attaching the sheath to her shorts, Tori began looking for anything else that could be useful when she saw Charlotte. Tori debated for a moment whether it was a good idea to go talk to her, then decided that it would be rude to not thank her. "Umm, e-excuse me," Tori said nervously as she approached Charlotte. "Th-thank you for, um, helping us, b-back there."
