Basically Vestec fucked shit up for everyone again and sent the moon Perfectus to crash into the planet, which will make the planet inhospitable for billions of years if we don't stop it.
Basically, the moment Perfectus makes contact with Galbar, a huge portal will open and The Gap will be revealed. Just as one ginormous tentacled arm extends out, Perfectus passes into the portal and the portal closes behind it - but not before the tentacle seizes Vestec and sucks him into The Gap.
