Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

When I need a left sock, there is none. When I don't need one, there is a surplus. I think the world is toying with me.

Bio

I am Searat
Half sea, Half rat, All Aqueous Rodent.

My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)

As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.

Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.

Emil took a shooting position near his original and waited for the abomination...and waited...and waited. It took approximately ten minutes before the paladins lowered their weapons and decided that whatever he and Devon encountered on the other side of the collapse, was not pursuing them. Emil recoiled slightly as the sword wielding paladin suddenly pointed to him. "You." She paused slightly. Now that it's not after you two anymore, we'll need a more concise description of it. Any distinguishing features of the armor or creature that could be relevant in case we have to face it later?" He glanced at the paladin and back to the mouth of the passage. He wasn't completely ready to look away from the passage, in fear that the thing could still arrive any moment, but he had to report the findings of their excursion to the other side. "The Geiger counter went bonkers, and I mean BONKERS, reaching levels beyond a thousand units of rads. Bones were scattered everywhere and seemed like something broke them open and ate the marrow. Some were even fresh..."

Emil pauses to gag at the memory of the smell and sight of the abomination. "Then we saw that...MONSTER." He spat the word out with disgust, as if it were an understatement to call it such. "It was huge. Clad in powerarmor like yours but it was blackened and seemed to be a twisted parody in a sense. It had a big 'E' with stars encompassing it on the left shoulder, too. Its armor's front was riddled with bullet holes, burns from energy weapons. It's helmet seemed a part of its skull and had chunks of armor revealing necrotic flesh and bones that glowed blue." He grimaced under the mask. "It spoke to us. It said: ""You're not supposed to be here." I was about to make a distraction so that the girl could escape, but that's when she grabbed me and pulled us both back here..."

Emil was ready. To ensure the safety of his partner's retreat, he would have to make a proper distraction. His grip on his trusted laser RCW caused his knuckles to whiten underneath the gloves of the hazmat suit as he made the mental resolve to pull the trigger. Just as he was about to send a burst of hyper ionized light beams to the abomination's face he suddenly heard her apologize and felt a hand grasp his right arm and quickly pulling him back to their merry band of mercenaries. He actually stumbles and falls flat on his back as soon as Devon had stopped. He had to take a moment to assess the sudden and new environment and is quick to realize that they were back in the other side of the tunnel. Devon wasted no time to tell the group that the area beyond this collapse was not clear. He shakes his head side to side to remove the feeling of discombobulation before speaking. "Not clear is an understatement. There's a powerarmored abomination back there!"
Emil scrambles to stand back up and scrounge through his pack for his Energy Flintlock and a couple sticks of dynamite. Even if they had the whole party here, it would be wise to keep a contingency plan open. "I suggest everyone get ready, cause that thing is looking for trouble and is heading our way. VERY SOON."

Astra lowers her guard, but opts to stare at Mason for a short while as she scans him and gathers data on him and updates databases to recognize Mason as a rookie agent like her. 'System Updated. Demon is now recognized as an Agent of the Bureau of Supernatural Affairs.' She then attempts to ease the Demon's fear, by offering an awkward grin that looked more like she was trying to show her front teeth to a dentist. With her still 'smiling' she greets the newest agent. "Greetings. My name is Astra, the golem sent by the Research and Development Branch. I do hope we get along well."

Richard had accepted the fact that Mason was an agent of the BOSA like him, but his body language told otherwise. Anyone with keen enough eyes or skill in reading individuals, could see that he was still uncomfortable in the presence of the demon. Maybe it was the 'divine' part of him reacting adversely to Mason's presence? It was then Griffin came into the training deck, it seemed that the Director didn't chew him up too badly. "Nice to see that you're still part of the BOSA." Richard admitted with complete sincerity, he thinks Griffin is a genuinely good person or vampire...it's just that he's kinda rough on the edges. Maybe it is something akin to a defense mechanism?

"I'm fine, thanks for asking. Also its been a while since I played capture the flag. I'm sure its going to be interesting to say the least." He lets out a chuckle before hearing Rost speak. "Sure thing, professor Smith." It was then he saw Mason enter the room. The smile on his face turns into an almost uncaring and neutral line as he casts his gaze upon the shadow demon. Richard was suspicious of Mason, rightfully so considering they had to detain him a number of hours ago, though if he wanted to have a seamless team building exercise...Richard would have to swallow his pride and actually attempt to 'work' with a demon. Richard huffs out the breath he wasn't aware he was holding and prays to God for the strength and determination to do so.

Astra offers Argus a curt nod before observing that one other individual had entered the premises. As per usual, she analyzes the new one.

'Proposal: Demonic entity detected and is Scared. Report findings to Head Researcher Rost Smith.' She is quick to act upon the proposal and walks over to Rost. "Head Researcher, there is an anomaly detected. There is a demon present and it appears to be scared. Should I contact security personnel?"

Astra pauses for a bit as she attempts to access the corrupted file three more times before she reasons that it is an impossible feat and looks at Argus and simply states. "Apologies Argus, that memory seems to be lost." Not wanting to disappoint Argus she attempts to answer the query. "The researchers and scientists in the Research and Development pertained to me as an 'automaton' and 'construct.' I apologize again if the answer is insufficient."

Richard finally arrives to the training area, in the sweatshirt, sweatpants, and sneakers he used when he was still training. No use in letting it collect dust in his locker. He sees the other agents present and greets them with a friendly nod. "Ah, hello again Mr. Rost, Argus, Agent Astra." He looks around to see that the rest of the agents and the...demon was not yet here. Richard grimaced at the thought that he was to work with a demon of all things. He was fine working with beings that had a negative affinity to his magic, like Griffin and Kaz, as there are numerous known cases where there were 'good' vampires and wraiths but never heard of a 'good' demon. Well not at least after the debriefing.
