"Shapeshifting + Presence Concealment FTW"

Shinto Town, City Proper >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> What's left of Fuyuki Park

Coming late into the party where everything goes chaotic was a girl hidden in darkness. Using Presence Concealment to hide herself from the battle ahead, at the very least she was mentally recording everything to Walter if he is getting this and isn't in trouble flirting with someone hotter.

Though for a cold-blooded Assassin to be thinking like that, she just disregards it. Serenity had just been given the permission to kill anyone who was easy to pick off however... the competition all seem to be powerhouses and while her Noble Phantasm is just as deadly, she's not confident in taking them all out at once, for all she knew one of them could have a skill that nullifies Poison and approaching someone to poke them is a dangerous move, even for an Assassin.

But why focus on the Servants? There has to be Masters around that's tethering them and the only one that seems to be standing out was a fabulous-looking flower boy in the Park. Who else...? Hard to tell, she kept her killing intent low, only aiming to prepare once there was a sign of weakness.

Although a surprise overcame her, her eyes quickly turn to the other Assassin making headway for one of the Masters, only to be foiled by what seems to be another enemy Servant, Caster perhaps? The girl had the look of one, long robes, the whole get-up but it wouldn't be wise to attack just as they had... no...

...she had to wait...

Shades At Night for the Light Show

Homurahara Academy, Outside The Banquet of Test Dummies

"Maybe slinging me over your shoulder wasn't such a bad thing after all, Lancer. Just please don't do it in the morning, I don't want people to see me getting kidnapped by a Hun in midday, it also gives away our position." Being set down on a random building overlooking the fortunately empty-school (hopefully not having red-haired stragglers wishing to be Heroes of Justice) which was... she supposes... now fixed up with fireworks popping in the distance. Which could only mean one thing.

A Master and Servant or a collective of them, which meant free kills for her Servant which also meant no one who wasn't involved in the War would get hurt. While that seems plausible enough, she's not one to underestimate and would instead save her Command Spells to see what the Servants involved were capable of. While Altera was looking over the school, blade in hand. The girl took out a canister, depositing an iridescent goop of liquid which suddenly reacts at her touch, Magic Circuits activating with a flute sound imagined and running in her head.

Speaking in German, the slime fully formed into a raven, emulating its noise and cries asw ell as giving its wings a few flaps. It was operational and it was enough to check if there were bodies after what Altera was gonna do.

She suddenly felt her whole spirit being pulled away from her, it wasn't a slow rip but man it suddenly took some life out of her. She had just finished her incantation, materializing her Noble Phantasm that spelled "Destruction". Despite the pretty lights that it holds, it was deadly... this was Attila The Hun and she was known for her destructive power.

But what if there was a Servant who was known for protection?

It didn't matter now. The spears finally struck the school in its entirety, sending the watery raven using two fingers, controlling them like a puppet to see if she killed anyone...

...and her hunch was right, Altera wasn't able to kill anyone. It wasn't much of a surprise, she probably cost the Fuyuki government millions of yen but the main problem was there. Although with her raven flying overhead, perched on a tree branch, she could see that a "Musician" @ReallyDumb was playing something which dulled her javelins, a "Bearded King" @Reflection with soldiers way taller than any walking Human on this Earth, forming a shield wall in the same manner. Leonidas? Hardly. None of the shields were Spartan, perhaps someone that respected him? Some "Scummy-Looking King" @Phonic with cannons lined up to take out a fourth or half of the rainfall of javelins with loud booms of gunfire, Cordula swore they look more like tank cannons. And a "White-Haired Hunk" @Aoko Aozaki standing to protect what seems to be his Master with his body? And someone who held his sword with a frown on his face, someone she at least knew as a Saber @Breo as he held his sword with a glint of retaliation. While all of them seemed heroic enough... the one laughing on the sidelines, the "White-Wigged Buff Guy" @Over Illusion just reveled in what just happened. She didn't want the raven to get close enough to be detected it was enough to know that these are the Servants that her Servant pissed off just because they ruined their tea party.

It's a War, right? All is Fair.

With a soft whistle, the raven flew back on its own with her guidance and as it traveled noticed someone else running in the direction of the both of them. A boy with cat ears. @Gracefully They sent someone that quickly? Or was this a third party?

Cordula eyes widened, she was about to tell Altera to leave but the girl picked her up in a bridal carry, already making a break for it. The raven following behind at a safe distance, hopefully undetected. At least she has an eye in the sk-

"Oh hell no..."

Oh. Hell yes. A dragon made of soldier bodies manifested and flew up in the air at an amazing speed, also in pursuit of Cordula's Lancer, it was impressive for a big pile of decayed meat and as it gave chase crushed the raven that she made, pooling into water droplets down below a drain.

"Lancer... I think we have to go.." She would look to the Velber-incarnate, eyes stiffened and concentration focused. The bright glint of red in her hand flashed, an audible sigh with her clenched fist. She kept hoping that it works, this was the first war and she's probably the first person to use a Command Spell, she only hoped she didn't have to use the rest.

"Lancer. By Order of Command Spell, I order you to get us to safety immediately."

The tattoo burns in her hand, erasing the mark and leaving a red fade. Something beckoned Altera to leave, a spell almost akin to an Authority, something that forces a Servant to do what is against their ability usually but it was a desperate call and the two of them had the same idea. Thankfully her Disengage skill had helped this much, she only hoped that this Command Spell really did take them to a safe place, any place without any threats near them.

"A Night Out In Shinto Town"

Shinto Town, City Proper

A beautiful girl in a beautifully lit town. The girl walked past men whos eyes were caught in hers but all she could do was ignore them. Even those with girlfriends and wives would turn their heads, rubbernecking in her direction. Fixing her silky smooth hair with a deep breathy sigh, a sigh that could somehow be heard and give their defined, masculine faces a shade of red.

She finds herself roaming each building, if this building was still [OPEN]. She'd enter, try a sample and then leave. It seemed like she was looking for something or rather... someone... specifically... some people. Her suspicions were confirmed with a small smile on her face, taking a seat on a bench park where a lamp post conveniently lit up the moment she collided with the hard wood.

An inhalation of fresh air and she turned to a man in glasses who quickly turned away blushing. The girl replied with a smile and dismissed herself with a simple handwave. "It's quite alright sir, I'm waiting for a friend. That's all." Her tan hands clasped together with a fake smile she concocted, a blooming girl waiting for a boyfriend this late at night? Or something far more raunchier? The man excused himself regardless since he thought he might make the situation awkward.

Then she drops the expression altogether.

"Master Walter. I have sensed multiple Servants in the city as I roamed just as you ordered. I can not pinpoint where exactly. At the very least, I wasn't discovered so you don't have to worry. Did the golems I touch give off the result you wanted?

Serenity asked in a concerned telepathic tone to wherever her Master is, like a kid trying to please their parent.

"Do not touch."

Abandoned Shipping Warehouse, Harbor

Hassan could tell that this dapper young gentleman was her Master for this particular War. Looking around as he held a hand out to look for an alternative to shake it, after finding nothing that helped she quickly picked whatever bits of fabric on his glove and shook it carefully. Noting the cheese sandwiches, she ate each one of them making sure that not one crumb spills on the floor or plate, a simple chew and swallow to perfection.

"There are eighteen Hassans Master. You may call me Hassan if you wish, they cannot figure out which of the eighteen has been summoned which works either way into our advantage." The girl spoke calmly and with no deep exposition as expected of a loyal Assassin.

She took a look at his golems but even Walter would be uncertain if she's even vaguely interested in interacting with them, she had a right arm stretched but hesitated... shaking her head then turned back to him. Her pretty eyes dazzling in the semi-darkness of the warehouse. "Food, drink and sleep aren't necessary for Servants, Master. While it does sate other needs you can count on my watchful eyes to protect you from any incoming attack. I'd also advise you not to stay close to me. This isn't a personal problem it is the work of my Noble Phantasm which is always active. I apologize in advance if it is an inconvenience to you already."

Ah. So that's where the smell is coming from.

The Average One

Railyards, Warehouse - Morning >>>>>>>>>>>> Shinto Town

Cordula couldn't help but feel a chill right then and there but offered some relief when Altera decided to let it pass. For some reason she thinks that Altera and Attila are the same thing. She wonders why that is...?

Before she could continue to question her nature and hopefully not get her killed, Altera has some surprising patience for a Hun and she has the kind of strength that she could carry Cordula easily like a ragdoll and leap several feet in the air to reach the roof of the warehouse with ease. To be completely honest, she didn't quite expect this kind of exceptional abilities from a mere familiar... on the other hand she seemed to get paranoid.

Thank goodness she didn't try to question her. Altera wouldn't need to use a weapon to rip her into pieces. It'd take a few seconds.

With a gentle drop, the blonde beauty stood on her feet while the great Hun War God surveyed her surroundings with her All-Seing Servant Eyes or something. Cordula didn't know too much about how this ritual works after all it's the first of its kind. With a smirk she took to the challenge, pointing at a city of skyscrapers to their West. "There's a town called Shinto and it's the nearest one. I... uhh... don't have a car and it's considered weird if people see you carrying me like you did earlier in the Day so... why don't we just take a cab? There was a road a little further away from the Railyards where cabs and buses wait for workers in the Railyard to move into town or back at home.

"As for where we are... We're in Japan, The Far East. A land chock full of culture once preceded by the Chinese now adapted in its own way. With warriors such as samurai and shinobi being one of the more popular cultures of this city. Unfortunately though... there's rarely any of that now and as you can see: you're several centuries into the future."

Cordula closed her eyes, holding one of the steel-crafted hummingbirds that she had reshaped days prior in her hand. Like a puppetmaster, her Magic Circuits open, a long, unseen thread connecting one of her fingers to the small wing-flapping bird coming to life with a metallic screech.

"I don't know anything if there are Romans here but I could reintroduce you the World as it is now. I'll just send these birds to scout for us." Doing the same thing with the other four birds, sending them off in other directions with a screech she could only hope that they didn't get destroyed before they saw anything.

One bird in Miyama Town.

One bird in Native District.

One bird in Foreign District.

One bird in Commerce District.

One bird in Academy.

A total of the five hummingbirds she created and let loose.

Shinto Town, City Proper

A scale of skyscrapers, shops, apartments, hotels. This was clearly meant to be a city of progress and so far it has shown itself. Stopping at one of the bus stops of the city. Both Altera and Cordula took in the air of dense population, with people coming to and fro their jobs across the city.

There's a handful of things to do here to re-introduce Attila to the Modern World and not have her speak like a LARPer in the middle of the street. It'll be a while before her familiars brought back some information via observance so right now would be okay to take it easy right? It's not like a bunch of Servants just fight while the sun is out and reveal Magecraft to society? That'd be silly even for those who aren't at the Clock Tower.

Of course, she did remember there were weirdos and psychos who have attempted it but surely the Great Families wouldn't invite them here, right?

But hold on, how does one introduce somebody to modern society? There was a library here, a shopping center, an arcade.

"I'm sure this must all be new to you, my King. If you want, let's say we have a snack? A mini-feast or something? There's some restaurants here we could try. There's also a Public Library here if you want to know where we really are and want to know more about this place."

She winced a little bit, Command Spells burning. Someone's in this district... but where?

"Hand me thy head."

???

There once was a girl who had turned weak after holding the hand of a general who did not die from her touch. A fleeting happiness befalls her, her sense of duty and oath to her Assassin's Creed fading away with each fleeting moment. Now she didn't want to kill him, she felt like spending an eternity with him.

A path to killing could end here.

A path to endless bloodshed through a facade of fake emotions fabricated by this pretty little flower.

A poison ivy in a desert that does her job like a machine.

Yes. Finally, she had found someone who could indulge in her, someone who wouldn't die.

However like all fleeting moments. They happen in a single blink.

The girl finds herself floating in the void. She didn't know what happened, it was all too fast. It was almost as if she heard the evening bell before taking one measly blink of her teary eyes... then it happened. She heard the one voice all familiar to her, a voice that even those training as for the one seat would fear if they took their teachings too easily. The title and leader of the Assassins:

The First Hassan i-Sabbah: The Great Founder

"You have strayed from the Path. Poison Girl. What do you hope to achieve?

"...I believed I had a chance at a normal life... to touch someone without dying is a relief to me.

"So you have become more vocal and in turn gained emotions considered a degradation to Our Creed. Do you truly believe there's happiness at the end? What if he dies? What becomes of your family? What if they cannot resist your touch and die in the same way?"

"I...

"You have discarded your name and your entire identity so that you may become one of us and take the seat as my replacement. It seems I was wrong. Like others before you who have succumbed to desire and emotion, you are not to fit to lead.

"I apologize, Great Founder."

"I have granted you the mercy of a quick and painless death. Like your title, I hope a Serenity awaits you in the next life.

The girl sighs softly, the very image of the imposing Hassan disappearing before her like a memory... all she could do now... is close her eyes.

"S I K E Y O U T H O U G H T"

Abandoned Shipping Warehouse, Harbor

The girl awakens to the sound and smell of seawater, a pillar of mana bursting from the circle Walter had set up around this slightly dusty, abandoned warehouse. She stares up, down, left, right. Looking for a sign of life, the food and objects didn't matter. She was summoned as an Assassin-Class Servant and her eyes trail down towards Walter with an indifferent, neutral frown.

"You have summoned Hassan i-Sabbah. Assassin. All of your orders will be followed to the letter." Such diligence and loyalty! Although she kinda smells like a rotting corpse. Perhaps Walter shouldn't go too near.

Father's Perfect Doll

"I have brought forth Good Civilization to end Bad Civilization"

Railyards, Warehouse - Morning

A second passes and she had to remove her shades to blink at what just happened. The tan woman painted in mysterious tattoos appeared before her claiming herself to be an "Altera". Altera? Furthermore she declared her own Master, Cordula, one of her faithful Hunsman. A Hun? Was there an Altera The Hun? Or was this an accent that she herself perceives as Altera. Could it be...? Attila The Hun?

She puts a hand on her chin, her fingers scratching every bit of non-existent beard hair while she looked her up and down with her beautiful emerald irises face to face against Altera's own bright rubies. Everything about her felt off for many reason:

Firstly. Attila The Hun was a War God? She expected something along the lines of a Roman or Greek Hero blessed by said War God, she mentioned Mars. She knew she did.

Secondly. Was Attila always a girl? There were no accurate depictions of Attila The Hun only something along the lines of big, bad and a nasty attitude. The girl before her seemed to be the exact opposite of what "Hun sources" or "Roman sources" say. The beauty before her exemplified what a King was despite her audible roars of warlike tendencies just rumbling the atmosphere of this very warehouse.

She nods, hand put away on the side before speaking up to her Highness, the Great King of Destruction.

"Not to be disrespectful, your Highness, but isn't it Attila? And why are you a girl?" Okay. Getting out there with the straightforward requests, she hopes she doesn't behead her... she even doubts that the Silk Strands could keep her at bay, hell... she didn't want to use her super secret surprise familiar hidden underneath a black sheet. She did remember her Command Spells but would it be enough before she gets met with that long spear just driven towards her mortal gut?

Too much information at once but for some reason, Cordula was able to hold it in externally, she was panicking. If she had the mind of an Atlas Alchemist then perhaps she could formulate a plan properly under pressure.

OKAY BRAIN THAT IS ENOUGH. TRY NOT TO PANIC I'M SURE ATTILA HERE WON'T GO BALLISTIC WHEN I DISRESPECTED HER RIGHT?!

Right? @Flood

Glistening Go-Go Girl

"Pfft, who needs banners. Circle is the way to go."

Railyards, Warehouse - Morning

One would think that for someone who was enrolled at the Clock Tower, someone who was held up high with an affinity in all of the elements, someone who was given subtle special treatment for having well-off circuits and for her value as an Average One. They'd be cunning, dangerous, calculating. Someone who knows what to do in situations in a battle royale between magi and their overpowered familiars: The Servants, The Heroic Spirits of Old and Legend talked about by the populace, adapted in various films, expanded in ways that the modern era would milk for some cash.

Someone who is very cautious while also showing aggression. A way to intimidate as shown in the society of the Mage's Association time and time again whether it is through politics or a show of talent.

And yet...

"Two days and I can only get my secret weapon done. Sheesh how do people start this dumb ritual anyway?" Cordula Rothschild Vennschneizen, Fourth Generation to the Vennschneizen Magus Family finds herself sighing at the prospect of a steel statue in the shape of a four-legged mammal, her circuits glowing with her right hand, twisting back and forth as if she had just lifted a dumbbell. She didn't realize she arrived way too early to the Holy Grail War and today supposedly marks the start of the Heaven's Feel ritual hosted by the Three Great Families.

"Well I guess that's that. I should get to work on a life-sized version of me next time I loiter around..." Yet again she speaks to herself, untying a rope as a wide black sheet covered her "secret weapon" to any intruder that might have found their way in whether it is by accident or for the purpose of spying. Two statues of oversized wolves were kept off the side as well as five figurines of hummingbirds on a nearby shelf. Crossbows were installed and positioned in blind spots to prevent from getting spotted upon entering. It's still morning so she has time to get with the summoning. The blonde girl took out a sparkly-looking crystal, glowing with an iridescent tone as she walked up the second storey of the warehouse, her summoning circle and reagents were set all that's needed now is to put it at the center and...

"...should I use my usual chant for my familiars? Nah... guess I should stick to standard." A hand raised, the Command Spell shining brightly above the circle as it glowed brightly. Her mouth opens, a gentle voice comes out:

"Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill. Let each be turned over five times, simply breaking asunder the fulfilled time.

Let silver and steel be the essence. Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation. Let the War God Mars be thy calling. Raise a wall, against the wind that shall fall. Close the four cardinal gates. Come out from the crown. Rotate the three-forked road reaching the Kingdom.

– I shall declare here. Your body shall serve under me. My fate shall be with your sword. Submit to the beckoning of the Holy Grail. If you will submit to this will and this reason…… then answer!

– An oath shall be sworn here! I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven. I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell! – From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three great words of power, come forth from the ring of restraint, Protector of the Balance!"
