What is the tech level in this world? Are we talking Medieval, Victorian, Modern, Futuristic? Because I have a similar idea for each time period.

@Ashevelendar So, A HOC Hacker/deserter with a robotic arm and eye, made from experimental tech from the Titan. Is that ok from the start?

@AshevelendarAh, ok. I wanted to make a hacker-type character that can directly interface with machines, so I figured an AI would have been the best option. Would a Human with a few robotic replacements be acceptable? Like, a new arm, and maybe an eye?

Probably should have asked this before, but what are the rules on Cybernetics? Like Cyborgs and AI? Because I have two ideas, but I don't know If you'll like them. The one I like most (and the one that's the biggest problem) is basically an AI in a Cybernetic Body

As the rest of his team filed out of the dining hall, Venator stopped near the scene brewing between the Captain of Team JAYC and the Maul-wielding blond of Team STAR. He watched from a short enough distance to see everything, but far enough to not draw attention, as Asher practically threatened the blond's leader with a cold look over the whole scene until he turned his eyes to the two Faunus from JAYC as they stepped away from the potential fight. With smooth steps, Venator drew closer to them and placed his hand on the Fox boy's shoulder. He gave the monkey a quick nod and small smile. His hand slipped off of Cedar's shoulder as he looked between the two boys before he extended his hand to them. "Venator, Team Valentine. I saw what happened."

His wolf ears twitched a little and He looked over his shoulder at the three boys at a stand-off, his eyes narrowing. "We should let the faculty deal with this, instead of letting this get out of hand, but Silas might need some help to calm them down before they get here." He sighed quietly and turned back to the two faunus boys. "Can one of you two find a teacher? I'll deal with those two."

With that, he turned back to the arguing teens and growled lowly to himself before he walked between them and put his hands up to both of them. "Guys, chill for a second. Silas has a point, to a degree. Save it for the arena, where you settle this without dragging anyone else into it." He looked between the two, his eyes sharp and cold but not provokingly so.

Venator fought the urge to roll his eyes at Azura's comment, but it was a losing battle. She was very friendly, but she was apparently a little slow on the uptake. He deigned to reply and instead finished off the last of his meal. It was then that the faunus boy from the other team, Cedar if memory served him, was suddenly knocked to the ground and Venator let out a low, angered growl. He held a scathing glare for a moment before he looked away. His eyes settled back on his purple-haired team mate, and not-quite-subordinate. "That would make sense, Lynn, considering that's where I'm from. I never really planned to come to Vault, but that's how the dice fell. As I said to Azura, There's two versions of this story. The nice one, and the real one. The nice one is that I came to Lustre to become a successful Hunter and prove that we Faunus are more than just animals..." He shot a glare back across the room. "That we deserve to be treated fairly."

He drained the rest of his coffee and placed the cup on the table with a soft click. "The real story? It was this or prison. And seeing as I'm sitting right here, It's obvious what I chose." He checked his scroll quickly, checking what class was next. "We should probably get going soon. We've got Lariet for Combat Training, and I really don't want to have to fight her... again." He was entirely serious as he said this. He could still feel the bruises from last time.

Personality: Willing to help but not an emotional person, Atlas retains a mindset common to soldiers in the NCR, one that values the people but is unafraid to kill. He dislikes it whenever innocent people are harmed but it doesn't slow him down, especially when the lives of others are at stake. He is professional and efficient, but able to speak to settlers as a friend rather than a paid mercenary.

Apparel/Armor: Elite Riot Gear and helmet (New Vegas), Pipboy salvaged from Vault 3.

Biography: Born and raised on the West Coast, he joined the NCR troopers as soon as he was old enough in order to make a living. His first assignment was also his more gruelling: The Mohave. Sent to secure and reinforce the Hoover Dam, he faced hell-on-earth in the form of Caesar's Legion. Following victory at The Second Battle for Hoover Dam the NCR, assisted by the mysterious Courier Six, forced the Legion out of the Mohave. Atlas earn several marksman commendations and was transferred to the Rangers as a sharpshooter. He was promoted to Veteran following a mission wherein, armed with just a standard Sniper Rifle and a 9mm pistol, he fought off Legion patrols for 3 days and made it to safety. During a scouting mission to The Divide, he secured a set of Elite Riot Armour and repaired it to full condition. He was allowed to retire from active service after 4 years, and he was granted permission to take his old rifle, the same AM Rifle he had used in the Mohave, and his Elite Riot Gear. He travelled for a while before he settled in the Commonwealth, making a living as a Guard for Hire. He was approached by the Gunners a few times, but he refused to work as a mercenary.

Reason for Agreeing: His time in the NCR Army means that he never wants to see innocent people suffer. That, and a reasonable payment of the Caps is a hard offer to turn down.

About his AM Rifle, it's powerful but it's heavy, slow and the ammo isn't very common. He uses it when fighting hard targets like Deathclaws and Combat robots like Assaultrons and Sentry Bots, but otherwise it is stored in his Pipboy. While he prefers the AM Rifle, his main rifle is his Combat Rifle, A Marksman's variant with a ported barrel and compensator, re chambered for .308 rounds and fitted with a Long Scope.
