Bio

My Name is Shadow Daedalus, but I will accept pretty much any diminutive form you can come up with. I am active in the GMT Timezone, and I mention this to help coordinate posting times with others.

I like to RP things with fighting and grit, but chilled out RPs are good too. I'm a little out of practice, so my writing style falls anywhere between Low-Casual and High-Casual.

Wide range of tastes, like Sci-fi, Modern, Fantasy and Historical. This also includes a diverse range of Fandom content, especially Games and Anime.

I don't usually play more that three characters at a time, and I'm more comfortable as a male character, but I might try to expand more in the future, you'll have to wait and see...

Not very interesting, so feel free to ask me questions :D

@Grey@Turboshitter@vancexentan Do any of you have a problem with me annexing Archer? If you do, please tell me because If not, I can work on an IC right now
@vancexentan I recognise I am at fault, so it's only fair
@Grey I don't want to be that guy, but do you mind if I master Archer instead? If you'd prefer Archer over Lancer that's cool, but my posting times are erratic and unreliable so I don't want to harm other player's experiences any further than I already have.

Interacting with: Father Walter @vancexentan

While he waited, James had removed his weapons and placed them on the seat beside him and as the overseer approached, he made no outward signed to react, but instead wordlessly listened to the clergyman's words. His thumb drifted idle against the catalyst in his hand.

"Thank you for the offer to have her buried Father, but I think it's best that we keep her body preserved until I can make preparations to have it taken back to her home. It's what her people would have wanted. I appreciate your sympathy, but I'm no religious man and I'm used to losing people. Comes with the profession."

His head down, the Hunter didn't turn to look at the older man as he watched aimlessly the space between his knees, a hollow laugh slipping from his mouth before his eyes drifted to the crossbow bolt in his hand. His expression changed slightly, but it was enough to been seen. The empty look became tinted with hard determination, a resolve he had held before now slowly returning to him.

"That doesn't mean I'm giving up on this war. I owe Amina that much..." He turned his head to look at Walter fully."...and for that I'll need a new Servant. Should I leave this with you?" He passed the catalyst between his hands before holding it out for the clergyman to take, his other hand pulling his weapons closer to his side.
@vancexentan Just thinking, would it be easier on people if I mastered for Archer (considering my erratic posting times) or should we do it as we planned and take Lancer?
@vancexentanI'll throw up a solo response post, trying to get online at the right time for a collab isn't working out at all.
@Eklispe forgot to mention you in the post, sorry
@vancexentan@Turboshitter James took Van Helsing's catalyst as to return it to the overseer, and I don't know where he's gonna get Cu's catalyst yet

Interacting with: No-one.

James stopped walking as a hollow, empty feeling passed over him before the mana flowing between his servant and himself suddenly ceased. He tried to contact Lancer, but he got no response, as if casting his voice across an empty plain. Glancing back towards the church, he began retrace his steps as he pulled out his phone again, quickly cycling though the cameras until his blood ran cold from more that just snow on the ground. Pocketing the device and pulling out both sidearms, he ran back to the entrance of the church before diverting himself down the direction Amina had turned, safeties on his pistols clicking off as he ran.

It wasn't long before he found her, body cooling in the snow with her throat slit. He tried Lancer again, but again no reply. Slowly scanning the area around him, weapons raised in two different directions, he growled lowly under his breath. He flicked the safety on one of his guns and replaced the weapon with his phone as he knelt down besides the woman's body. Keeping an eye on his surroundings, he played back the memory of the camera, taking notes of anything important about Amina's murderer. Curved dagger, Arabic in origin. Turban. Mask. Compiling what he knew of the previous grail wars, it didn't take long to come up with a reasonable culprit. The killer of both his servant and his partner was mostly like the namesake of the Assassin Class, one of the many iterations of the legendary Hassan himself.

James looked sadly at his fallen partner for a moment before sliding her eyes closed, reclaiming the catalyst from her pocket and rising from his place at her side. He walked for about a minute, eyes coldly watching his surroundings before before taking a deep breath and cursing loudly in English. His feet carried him into the church were he wordlessly passed the monk on guard and went into the main hall, taking a seat on one of the back-most pews as he waited for the overseer.
I got bored and found that shindan Vance did, and I'm pretty OP in some places
