Acquisition
Drawn to creatures of magic, familiars seek their way towards wizards, witches and other magical beings as if second nature. Needless to say, Midnight appeared for Willow when the boy displayed his powers.

Powers
❈ Soul Bond
Midnight is bound to Willow, and as such, is always present, though not always in physical form.

❈ Ghostly Presence
Midnight can choose to be seen by others, or not. However, if Midnight decides to become ethereal, he cannot interact with the surrounding world. Willow can however still see him, and Midnight is often in this form when following Willow around on missions. This form also allows him to fly.

❈ Soul Bound Telepathy
Midnight and Willow can communicate telepathically, but they rarely do due to the voices in Willow's head disturbing their connection.

❈ Guide
A familiar's main purpose is to act as guide, and mentor to those they are with. Midnight constantly teaches Willow how to maintain his powers, and keeps him in line.
