You're so nice for volunteering, I guess it's fine. We just need the GM to make sure it's okay.

I think beyond rolling for the encounters themselves, there isn't much else one needs to do to act as environment for someone else.

So I'm going to be GMing myself on this encounter?

Can we talk about getting someone to play as the Environment aspect in this game? Writing scenarios all on your own sounds good on paper, but it's also a little boring.

We can have a self-governing system where players can control Environment for one another (given their character is someplace else and/or not related to the events taking place) or what usually happens, where the GM controls environment for everyone.

I feel like being allowed to auto-encounter two shinies is a little too much.

I think... 1st shiny, you can pick and choose no problem.

2nd shiny, you can choose to make one of your random encounters shiny.

And onwards, if you reaaaallly want another shiny, have GM roll for shiny, which you need to roll a natural 20 for.

Otherwise these rare mutations are not so rare. I'm going to stick to one though.

I think if people had enough information, they could GM encounters for each other, so long as their actual character was nowhere near as to avoid bias.

EDIT2: Normally you would give me an update on the encounter and give it some quickly made-up circumstances. Like it was looking for something to eat, running from something, etc.

Or do I make that up myself? I'd rather someone be controlling the Pokemon I'm interacting with, otherwise it's just a one-man play and doesn't feel very fun at all.

Hmmmm. Swablu, is the only one in that rarity I'd be interested in catching, maybe some fun interaction if it were Luxray.

Or did you roll for what in that rarity I encountered too?

Ohhh Drifloon. Except beyond being entertained with it floating by, nothing much.

I guess one more roll?

Also I think that if we're looking for something in particular, if we land it's rarity, we encounter it automatically. So if I'm looking for Pidgey and roll Common, which is Pidgey's rarity, I encounter Pidgey automatically.

The hotels were something he was used to, as cush and comfortable as they were, they didn't give him as good a feeling as it did Fantasia, though their upbringings were similar, Blair much preferred things he earned, over things he was privileged to. It was why he had chosen Empress despite his parents presenting him with fancy posh Pokemon. Despite being plain, Empress had the regal feel to her too, but more of power. It was probably not going to be obvious until she evolved into god-knows-what. Before returning to his room he informed Fantasia of his plans,

"I'm going to go out for a stroll, maybe eat dinner or supper later, or just have room service bring that up, but I'll be out just for a little while", he said, before leaving Fantasia to rest up in her room. He walked through the streets that were emptying with people going home from work, but filling up with people going out to enjoy the night life of Grand City, and it lived up to it's name in that regard.

As he stepped through the streets, he edged close to the parks and port, where there were less people, he swept by the food stands quickly to get a bite to eat, hot dogs, well, what did he expect? It was Grand City. Empress followed behind him as normal. In any case, he was having a pretty nice time just taking in the view. It was night time, so naturally Pokemon that prowled the night in the city were at large, something Empress knew, being the 'queen' of the area... Though that status may have changed over time under Blair's ownership, but she seemed to still command respect from the Pokemon in the area. So there he sat in a park beside the pier, eating.
