Oh yeah. We never really talked about their relationship. I figured it'd be something a little unique considering his attitude.

Oh I should also inform you that punishing Vega makes everything worse, for everyone. He'll just end up venting out on everyone afterwards because you just made a really bad day for him worse. By now I'm sure the Guildmaster has better ways of dealing with him.

"Can it four-eyes, this IS my idea of relaxing, and didn't I just tell you to sit back? No need to get so heated", he yelled back at Odinn. His attack being countered wasn't unexpected, he managed to easily avoid his magic being countered, but his kick's strength not so much. Still it wasn't much to him. The portals all opening up, it seems this guy was going to get serious. He hadn't fought this guy before, so he had no idea what he was about to do, as she said, he definitely wasn't going to like it... Then again he didn't like any of these people.

"... You know what", he put his scythe away again, although this time he pocketed his knives... Then stood up, he breathed out, then in a gigantic explosion of his magic all around him, it didn't hit anything except maybe destroy Odinn's portals that were directly above him or a shockwave, but otherwise it didn't do much else,

"HRGH!", he with an almighty stomp completely cratered the ground below him using an ultra-dense concentration of his magic. His hands in his pockets, he kicked one of the stones created from the bit of debris before turning around towards the carnival exit, fiddling with one of his knives like he does sometimes,

"You guys are boring anyway, I'm outta here", this wasn't a good day for him at all... All that was on his mind now, was how he was going to handle that Odinn guy... Those portals, his magic seemed to prevent them from working on him like usual, but he couldn't exactly fight in his Death God's Veil. Gritting his teeth he continued to walk away from the area.

It looks like Illedrith was going to be the one to step up. He felt her hard gaze on his back as he turned, in returned he also shot back a crazed look, just looking at the two, he knew exactly which one was the right one, it was due to the parting of her hair which never seemed to change, but he wasn't about to tell her that. Vega may seem like some childish idiot with no social skills, but he was quite the intelligent mage, and talented no doubt, and he knew that, which owed to him being the person he was today. Forming his scythe simultaneously blocking the halberd, he turned part way to speak,

"I'm so insulted that you would use the blunt end Illendrith, don't you have any faith in my skill?", he teased. This wasn't the first time they'd come to blows, in fact he's come to blows with almost everyone present. With a twirl of the scythe he returned them to their neutral stances. Although barely moments before they entered those stances he went in for a twin kick, once a spinning low roundhouse followed by a side kick at the end of the spin towards the chest, his scythe over his shoulder as he did. Following the kicks and mirroring the motions would be his magic, extending it's range and adding all the effects of his magic to it.

"I see you're doing well", said Rui as he entered. He expected Akane to be here considering she had friendship with him. Maybe she was late? Likely slept in. In any case, he was going to speak about the dungeons and shadows with Alexei, but his sister was here... She didn't have the power, and involving her might not be the best idea.

"And hello to you too Kotori... Alexei, we met once, outside the manga club room, when do you think you can be discharged?", he asked. Alexei was likely going to be discharged tomorrow and allowed to attend school again as his condition had improved... But his sister on the other hand was still experiencing nausea and a bit of trauma from being kidnapped. It probably would've been worse if they didn't rescue her sooner, but she ought to be fine by the end of the week.

At least that's what the nurses had told Alexei earlier this morning before visiting times began. Still, this was a better result than expected, but it only raised more questions for Rui and Kami in their investigation...
