@Sho Minazuki Uh. I was aiming for something along the lines of the Grace and Glory enemies from Bayonetta, which would be two entities which, though they don't copy one another's attacks Ice Climbers style the way you described, definitely work in concert with one another in battle to kill their targets, and so far as I'm aware are never seen apart in-game unless one of the pair has actually died shortly beforehand... how closely tied are we talking? Aside from always fighting together, do they actually have to share a mind, or be so similar that they might as well be sharing one mind? Would they need to share damage between themselves? Would a form of twin telepathy be enough for them to count as one character, when combined with the whole "they fight as one entity" concept? A touch more elaboration on that topic might help me establish whether to stick with the concept, or whether I should perhaps move on to something less difficult to incorporate as far as limitations on number of characters is concerned.

A kind of twin telepathy would be closer to what I'm thinking. Doesn't have to be quite literally, but you're going to have to build the style and techniques around the use of two characters fighting in concert.
So are you making them as one character or two...? Right now excluding GMs, players can only make one character. You can still get away with it, if you tie them both together quite closely to fight as essentially one. Like Ice Climbers or something.
If there's no word or a status indicating what happened, then consider them completely gone. I've seen people completely drop off the radar and never come back more times than I can remember. If there's a mystery status, then put them on the sidelines or background but keep on going with it. When they come back after a long time, there's a low chance of them being into it anyways, since they're just a little burned out, like going into an RPG save months after putting it down.

Well some people have gone AWOL since you'd posted, so there are openings. We're not at our max just yet.

Hello again, folks. I made a post about four months back describing two characters which, at the time, I wasn't sure I would be able to play as. The post in question is quoted below:

Time's passed since then, and I've got enough spare time to join this now... but, um. The game appears to be full, or is at least indicating that that's the case. Is this true, and if not, would it be at all plausible for me to join this at this stage, say through an event of some sort or another?

We have space for like, one or two players, we're not really calling a cut-off because we're not getting a huge number of applicants at once anymore.

You have around two days to choose an alignment. Probably speak to Lugu about the Charred Council, but probably the quickest way to choose is to go Heaven, Hell/Mundus' Legion, or any of the human factions, because that goes under the assumption that you refused to join the Charred Council's agents.

Regardless the next batch of missions will be starting soon, so your timing is not too bad.
Christ that took ages.

You may need to find it in yourself to take a more iron-handed approach to keeping the RP moving at some points. I'm not even sure if I am for this, as much as I like the character I made.

I think for me I'd like to get to the tests or something soon. No one's forged any real relationships to idly chat just yet after all.

It seems Masahide had decided to accept. It was almost true that they didn't know what enemy they were going after, or rather they did, but so much about them was still a mystery. They had some details though...

"Well then, good to have you on board", he responded.

"You'll get the meet the others in time. I guess you'll like joining now than when this all began, because we do have some idea of what we're chasing... But we can't really talk about the details here", as he finished talking, Kotori walked timidly into the room, announcing her presence... Or rather just trying to make herself known. She had brought a get-well gift for Masahide. She seemed quite awkward just standing there though. This was honestly so awkward he didn't know what to do...

"Well you could... Try putting those flowers in the vase here", he pointed out, after which he began to walk towards the door.

"I'll just be heading to see Shizuka... Oh by the way Masahide, if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask", and with that he was off.
Excellent, I guess I might just wait until after Leo, and after the situation in Shizuka's hospital ward.
I should redraw Jack again.
Where @Leolycan at though.
Jack Orpheus | Brewing Storm

It was one thing after another, a large Grimm decided to make it's appearance, but with the skill of the pilot they managed to avoid it. Jack was staying on ground though to make sure the rest of his team made it. Of course, priority went to getting those survivors out of here, they didn't quite have the skills to stay alive against Grimm. That said, it was now up to them to either defeat, or keep this manticore down... That might be a tall order, defeating it at least, plus it was known for it's tenacity, so keeping it down might even be difficult too. Team BASL were the ones who fought it just recently though...

"Team BASL, is there anything you can note off of the Manticore? Like maybe an injury or weak point we can exploit", if they can cripple it somehow, the rest may be a bit simpler.
