@AbysmalDemon What do we do if we already have the Pokemon we want? My character met his Larvitar ages ago.

Right now Rylen's team in consideration is Tyranitar (Mega), Arcanine, Dragalge, Elektross, Golurk, and Togekiss.

Also earlier you guys were talking about training, I don't think in this case it should be called IVs, just special training. You want them to be faster than normal? Just train them that way and they'll eventually be that, and in their profiles you can tag it like, "speed trained" or something when done.

Give all of them unique twists then. Each gym leader usually has some kind of unique trick in their team, often to deal with people seeking to take advantage of type advantages.

@MissFortune I imagine Rylen will get swindled first meeting but then he might feel bad about it once he learns how genuinely nice Rylen is, and his values. Rylen's generally friendly to almost everyone, except those who mistreat their friends, Pokemon or human. The only value that will clash is their idea of what the strong's duty is. Rylen's is the protector, but Ace's is the ruler.
