As he was doing this on his own, Hotaru and the kid who would identify himself as Ian were already chatting, he was very quiet, he was pulling out all his stuff and Rylen hadn't noticed amidst this. When he returned to paying attention he turned back to the kid,
"So why don't you think it'd be awesome? And what Pokemon is in the egg?... And why are you unpacking all your stuff here?", he asked.
"Oh wait... Before that, name's Rylen, I heard Ian right? This girl here is Hotaru, she wants to be like, the best Pokemon artist ever, a Pokemon watcher I think she said. And... And I wanna get strong, like, really strong, to protect people... yeah, that's it", as he uttered the last few words, he clenched his hand into a fist and looked towards the distance almost heroic-like, then in a snap he switched back.
"But it might be best to pack your things up. We're gonna get out there on Route 2 as soon as possible, maybe have a picnic or something", he began.
The time in-between is unnamed, so anything could've happened in that time. He may have gone to check on the DHO since it was his original charge in that time.
Alright I'm going to be dropping out of this guys. Between school , two kids, and being completely ignored the last two times I tried interacting with someone I'm realizing this RP isn't for me.
No worries, taking care of that takes priority.
Although yeah, some of the people here are a little self-absorbed to read someone else's posts that may or may not be related to theirs. Try using the notifications feature in the future, the whole @Keyblade87 thing. To do it, just put someone's name in-between these "[ ]" with @ at the beginning. I actually started using it recently and it's been quite helpful.

In fact Rylen's team doesn't look all that special too. No shinies. Fully evolved they look intimidating as hell though... Except Togekiss, but dude will crit you to hell and back.
But it's been the point of his character too, doesn't look all that special, will kick your ass.

Shinies are really rare anyways, I don't think we should do that. Like I don't think in all my time playing the games I've ever gotten a shiny.
