Following a brutal 20 year long war, ending the use of a now identifiably volatile and unsafe energy nicknamed "Dogma", the world has entered a scientific age of industry, the Industrial Age as scholars have noted it for now. With the emergence of airships as a common form of transport, the invention of the cartridge for firearms already well-known at the time, and the birth of Magitek, has caused society to make leaps and bounds that even it's population fears being left behind. Many however recognize these rapidly changing times as the time to get busy, or truly be left behind.

Your story begins at the cusp of a new age following this era that is about to end. The individuals that will forge the era to come, as heroes, or villains, out of interest, duty, or the thrill of adventure and battle. From the bottom up you will elevate to the levels of legendary heroes and gods, the final frontier of fantasy. Become revered, for your power, for your deeds, or become feared beyond compare.

This is Final Fantasy, Reverence

you simply need to have an explanation why you would have them otherwise.)

STRUCTURE

The RP will be structured in parts, separated by the different nations. For example the first part will all take place in Raelin, and then Escain, and then so on. Each part ends when the major story segment ends, and everyone's characters must be moved to the next nation for the start of the next part. After the major story arc for each nation ends, there will be a grace period for everyone to wrap up business or start business that links them to the next nation. Near the end of the each story arc I will inform everyone what the next nation will be.

Though I should not yet worry about that, each story arc is while short in structure, will be expected to last a decent amount of time.

I want to stress the fact that each new nation we go to will be a great chance for people to join, or for you to create a new character.

Dragon Heart Guild Hall

"Ah?", Vega was suffice to say, disappointed. As Muko lunged at him with a simple right hook, he simply stepped aside, before grabbing him. He had a look of disdain on his face.

"And you're supposed to be the strongest here, what happened to that flare from earlier huh?", he shoved him back away to let him stagger a few steps, before he swung his scythe at him in an inward horizontal arc. Not intended to strike but if his so-called senior even has a little sense for battle, he should be able to dodge it no problem.

Muko... It puzzled him why he was marked the Guild's strongest. Well, only halfway, he knows he has that power with the Void Dragon Slayer magic, nothing he himself can't handle, but a direct hit could still threaten and override his drain if he wasn't careful. But how did he reach that power anyway? Such a weak will, he hated it. Muko for Vega was a mixed bag, he didn't mind it when he put his heart into something, but when he was like this it disgusted him. Timid and only putting in effort because someone else spurred him to it.

He had few expectations at this point, but let's see where this leads. For now.

Dragon Heart Guild Hall

The arena seemed set as a clearing created by Muko's attack was made in the center of the guild hall. The one deemed strongest in the guild against Vega whose strength with magic alone near or did rival it, no one could tell for they never went all out against each other. Yet of course, Vega was still an A rank for various reasons that were apparent. As Illedrith separated the two lower rank mages away to be scolded, Vali was heard from the sidelines by Vega, who responded in kind.

"Hehahahahaha! Shows me how much you know about the justice you love so much, I just joined in you stupid scarecrow, go to the lab uptown and get yourself a brain. I'm sure that alch lab has one laying around somewhere!", true. He did not start this fight, he's only joining in... Given he's more or less egging it on, but it was not him who started it. Any comments about his ego were more or less redundant, because he did not care, and did this all for fun. Thrilling. Seeing these people use their flashy magic, hitting little mages out on the road wouldn't give him this level of interesting people. The way he used and treated his magic was troublesome however... Like someone too eager to test out and push the limits of a new tool or invention. Regardless...

"Now then where were we huh? You comin' at me or am I gonna have to get over there? I'd say we have tops one minute before guild master or someone capable breaks it up", well in normal circumstances, he, being an A rank... Should be the one breaking it up. You know, being a good example for those below. But obviously he doesn't care for that. His strength has him just inches away from that S and that still irks him. Teamwork and cooperation were trash to him. Other people just kept him from doing what he needed to.

"Also, let's try not bringing the guild hall down huh? I hear money's a bit tight, I sure as hell don't want to be stuck paying that with your sorry ass", surprisingly considerate, but it did happen before...

VOID

Vega's ears perked quickly as he heard before spotting a familiar purple flash in the corner of his eye. Who was it? Well he had some idea, and not that he cared. Everyone was already scrambling away but he stood there, letting people pass or shoving them so that they'd have to circle around him.

DRAGON'S

The area and expected impact zone was clear already. Vega's form flared as it formed his familiar cloak.

DROP!

The blast blew the benches, tables, and chairs of the guild hall all around, the explosion was enough to cause smoke rummaging out the windows. But as the mess cleared, and Dreadlin's voice roared in scold to the Void Dragon Slayer, a foot to his face, followed by a black mask with glowing purple eyes stepped from the dust. Whether or not he'd block it, or take it head on, the force and sudden appearance would be enough to force him to fly back several feet.

"Kuhahahaahahahah! And I thought I was the crazy one! How's we have some fun before the guild master shows up?!", his voice echoed ominously beneath the mask as it broke away again, leaving only his signature coat, he did a motion as if swinging a blade over his shoulder and as he did so, his scythe took form.

Rosa Blanca > Dragon Heart Guild Hall

"Hah?", Vega turned his head towards the direction of the guild hall. He thought he heard a low thud from there... Some thugs he just beat up were scrambling to get away from him as he held their coin purse in his hand, but as they ran he already lost interest in them. Something interesting may be up. It was customary for S rank mages to be the ones to end conflicts within a guild, but Vega was no such person. If something's happening it just sounds like a whole lot of fun to him.

Pretty soon his shadow brewed over the entrance to the Dragon Heart Guild Hall, some onlookers outside hearing the commotion were looking cautiously in. "Another fight?" they said, "maybe construction?", "what's happening?", "someone getting reprimanded?", and soon they realized who was standing at the door. A feeling of relief that it wasn't Vega who spurred this fight, followed by near horror as they realized he was going to go in and spice things up, and soon enough, Vega stepped into the guild hall.

Vega entered with a kick, sending yet another poor soul from the brawl back into it, knocking over a bunch set upon the aisle like a bowling alley, with Illedrith already coming in with a cart to bulldoze through. He was already out of the way of her charge, so he's gonna stay out of the way of that, instead he kicked up one of the chairs and kicked it at her feet in order to stop or trip her.

"Well aren't we having so much fun? Don't mind if I join in", he had his usual menacing smile as he walked closer to the brawl. Some of the lower ranks were already pretty shaken up just seeing him. It was a non-magic brawl so it appeared... Should he change that...? Or keep it as is so it can last a bit longer? Well we'll see who else decides to show up to the party first.

Location: Rosa Blanca

The city of Rosa Blanca was beautiful, not even Vega could deny that, but to him, beautiful cities meant deep pockets to pick, as he did so on occasion, to the disdain of the guildmaster, but he did not do it for money. The main reason he climbed to A and then S as quickly as he could was so he wouldn't need to worry. He just liked it. He did it for sport. Every corner of the pristine city, door where he would bump into someone in his favorite tailor, or while people simply were not looking while passing through a large crowd, he picked up a little something. Although he was not as rampant as that was described as that would simply get the attention of authorities, he simply knew every opportunity possible for it. So if he did this for sport, what did he do with this money? Well naturally he spent it, usually on some food or small trinkets, or hoarded it stashed away somewhere. He definitely already made a decent enough sum that he no longer wore the dirty mage robes from his time before Dragon's Heart. In fact he wore some pretty expensive looking clothes, a pretty high quality waistcoat, unbuttoned dress shirt and some formal slacks. If not for his constant scowl, he would have a rather charming face, but he didn't care for that. The showman or seducer was never his type of thievery, he left that to others.

But for the several or so months he has been part of Dragon's Heart, he was no thief, nor did he have to do thievery to get by. He had to remind himself even now, he was a mage. What did mages do? As far as he was concerned, serving others. Though it beats getting on the wrong side of the law, besides occasionally there would be a request to hunt other mages, even some Dark Mages, and he enjoyed those. He relished the title he was given, "The Mage Slayer", "The Reaper". Quite the moniker. Regardless today he steered clear from the Guild Hall, a busy day means a noisy day and he had no intention of being anywhere near that. And so he would choose to spend his day in the city.

For now he should enjoy a quiet, relaxing day... With his own idea of relaxing of course. Maybe some of those thugs in the outer edges of Rosa Blanca have something entertaining today.
There's honestly a lot. I'd say those not yet accepted should bring theirs up again. Even I miss CS' frequently when dealing with a lot of entrants.
@HitmanI'm guessing I'm already cleared then?
Say hello to Vega.
