Want to do a slice of life romance, in the MHA universe. SoL is good with an interesting backdrop.

Bio

I don't know how to make this all stylish yet. I'll figure it out eventually.

In the mean time ahem:

Hello! I am currently writing a script for a fantasy story I plan on animating (Using the program Poser) Rping really helps get my creative muscles flexing and I'm going to be incorporating some character ideas into the RPs I produce with other people. This could include Male or Female. I really try to challenge myself.

I am a huuuuuuuge fan of epic scale narrative, and breathing life into a story is a great passion of mine. Seriously I watch trope talk pod casts and how to write, just to make my script as effective as possible.

I am versatile. I love things with emotion, whether Romance, Grim, Adventure Thriller, or even Comedy. Above all else, I love to entertain. I hope to do so with you.

I also have a 1X1 interest check.

Want to respond before I do? For the apprentice?

I love how much the internet exploded. You figure someone came up with something like peach browser cross over before now.

Made a response following our groups responses, hope no one minds.

Im almost afraid to ask where we are at in the story, 500 posts is a bit of a read >< I was just going to kind of sideline and then wait for a part to jump into the important plot bits.

@The Irish Tree

The minotaur spoke first, and while immediately Ozzy had to take a step back from his observations to realize that the gentleman was indeed, large, massive, and probably built, well like a minotaur. But Ozzy, being a harpy of quick study and perception noticed how he presented himself, and that is, rather shyly. It made him vastly more approachable then his appearance would suggest. And when he responded with a proper greeting, Ozzy simply beamed his usual youthful grin.

"If I can call you Magnus, you can call me Ozzy. I hope we get along." Having met with a number of different cultures, his chosen words were always a bit more blunt. He even offered a handshake, his 'cape' raising along his arm as if they were connect. His hand would be lost in the big guys, but it was a proper greeting.

@Restalaan

Very foreign, her accent generally had him stumped. It was very rare accent and that was probably why he wasn't immediately stricken by her fashion sense. Usually he could pick out a particular style from his travels, but this woman represented something entirely new. He was right to be excited. She could be from Zipangu! A country he was eager to someday visit.

He offered her the same handshake, knowing very well that might be something her culture might not know/approve of so if she refused, he would just smile all the same. "A pleasure, Miss Yang Bethlehem." he made an effort to say the names, help him remember. His head tilted a little bit, the odd feather eyelashes dropping over one side of his face, his hands going immediately to his chin. "White Tiger Temple?" He turned a little bit. He knew he never went there, but- "Sounds familiar, did I read about it?" he asked himself giving an audible little sigh as he closed his eyes. He quickly bounced back. "I'd like to hear all about it sometime. Namely, what's a disciple do?"

@PaulHaynek

They both began to talk answering Bart's question, and Ozzy was quick to take a step back, raising his hands. "Op, sorry." He said a little embarrassed and getting out of the way. It was important guild business and he was the newbie. He listened to both sides converse about a job, a job that he figured did not go as well as they hoped. He wanted to know the specifics, but that wasn't important in the grand scheme of things. He tried to observe, learn what he could through piecing the snippets of info together. Maybe an extra pair of eyes would be able to help next time if there was a follow up.

Bart, as Ozzy seemed to understand, was a very roll with the punches kind of fellow Ozzy concluded. He invited them all inside, including himself to dinner. He was keen on the whole team building but he looked to Magnus and Yang if they were up for it, probably tired from whatever bit of heroics and tribulations they just had. Still, Ozzy wasn't about to gain say the master again and began to follow.

He looked at the 'collateral damage' in the guild hall and made a comment. "I'll try to help with that Master Bart if theres time. I'm not a carpenter, but at least I wont need a ladder." And he stepped inside, hopefully for good, he stopped at the door, holding for his two new guild acquaintances.

Poxanne's personal quest hit a bit of a snag a few months ago. A run in with a group of sky pirates caused the tiny Alchemist to jump ship and go for an emergency landing. She lost her whole lab and alot of her personal belongings. She had with her the things that could not be replaced but other than that, it felt like starting over. Something she was getting annoyingly used to. She found some need in this island of green, the plants many, varied, plentiful. She offered the villages her help, her medicine and her knowledge. It was enough to build a foundation of something resembling normality. Still even away from civilization, hidden in her little cottage, her beakers bubbling and boiling around, even with a child that came to her acting as an apprentice, a sense of normalcy, she found herself fidgetting most nights. Too much sadness, anger, regret, and pretending it didn't happen wasn't an option.

Falling.

Always falling...

Just like the first time...

Whenever she falls... something is always lost. Carried away by the wind.

But this dragon. That's new.

Poxanne wasn't afraid of this. It all just felt like once she let gravity and the void claim her, it was out of her hands. There was nothing she could do without the reassuring ground and the life within to reach out and help her. She had no such comforts, so why get worked up. Atleast it wouldn't hurt anymore.

But the dragon didn't eat her, nor did the ground come rushing up to meet her. Instead it spoke, and this is what made the Harvin come to her senses. She wanted to scream, but the dragon spoke. It spoke to her. She looked left, and right, there were others falling. Others... it spoke of destinies and fates. Great events soon to pass that she would be a part of. "I don't understand!" She responded to its first query. Her mind, inquisitive and sharp soon began to grasp the words. "You mean them?" She felt pretty strongly about connections, having one she will never untie. Her soul spoke. "My aspirations are my connections. I will never abandon them! Not again!"

The other questions came easy, her eyes open as the dragon judged her character. She didn't even time to shout out as her voice rang from her heart. "I have failed, that is why I am beginning again. No matter what it takes. I will stand against the wicked and stand for what I treasure most!"

The answer to his last question came from her mouth. "My Love. And my Hate." She almost felt like crying. This great being, god, primal, it was judging her, and for a moment it didn't care. It spoke the truth. She had such love for the innocent and good pieces of this broken world, and what she did not love, she hated with every fiber of her being.

The dragon seemed to except that, and she was left in light, still falling even as the world she knew fell away into nothing into-

"Master Poxxie, Master Poxxie! Someone's hurt really bad in the woods. T-They need a splint, a crutch, and something to dull the pain."

The old Alchemist work in her chair, she'd fallen asleep with her notes and scrap books nearly burying her as she propped her feet on her desk, looking at the mashed pulp of some mushrooms her apprentice had gathered. She was determining if it was edible, useful in medicine, or just another species of something toxic. It was a fun little pass time finding out. But then the girl's words rang like a gong, particularly after such a nauseating and strange dream.

She woke up with a shock, knocking her books and pencils and quills to the floor. "Huh!?" She popped her head ups, her blond hair wild and unkempt. It was thanks to her Harmin species that she actually looked smaller and younger than her apprentice, but Poxanne called the shots. She rubbed her eye and kicked the chair out so she can stand up, the chair being much bigger than she needed. "Hiker? Merchant? Will we need climbing gear?" There was a usual routine. After getting the initial information about where the injury is and what kind, she would get on her Alchemist Leathers, clip on the mask at her hip, get her field surgeon kit in the form of satchels, utility belts, and backpack, or better yet, just get her apprentice to carry them. Finally for good measure, she throws on her over-sized floppy pointed hat and lashes her grimoire to her lower back. She hardly ever leaves home without them. "Sounds like a break or sprain. Bring some antiseptics, bandages, and sutures just in case its a compound fracture. We'll administer some proper bone-mending droughts when we get him on the table."

When they were all ready, Poxanne waited for her assistant to lead the way. "I'm assuming you left Mucu with the patient." The Harmin smiled, "Good thinking. I just hope he's not afraid of animated mushroom creatures. What else can you tell me about him?" Poxanne moved with a bit of pep to her step, it was an emergency. But not life threatening by the sounds of it.

Jacob Foster

It was his first year out in the real world. He was a contract IT technician working in the bowels of some start up pharmaceutical company where people didn't really know his name. He'd pour over the sheets, make the required changes, fixed bugs in the system. He somehow managed to get a job the same way he lived the last decade of his life, looking at a computer screen. Which is it was moments like this that he lived for. This was the the night at the club! This was the party with the guys! This was the college mixer! There was nothing like it! Cheap food, no commitments, and every game was one of either raucous laughter, empassioned arguing, or moments of glory as the team pulled together or one player had the brilliant idea of doing something incredibly stupid but pulled a Natural 20 and changes the laws of Role Playing Reality to make it just work. All week he would be thinking of how the game would be like! All week he'd be play testing characters, trying to min max and optimize them to be the best of the niche. It made him want to run his own game! Something he never quite had the guts to try.

He was a bit off on how things actually went at these sessions, namely Craig pissing off one of his players or throwing a tantrum but to admit that things were less than perfect would sour the entire ritual.

But this was an exciting one. Craig said he didn't care what people brought to the game and Jacob excitedly questioned if he could use his favorite character. It was from an exalted game a few months ago where Jacob got a chance to be the Dawn Caste. The warriors of the Exalted universe, the best warriors capable of toppling gods and demons the size of skyscrappers. He really came out of his shell, playing the big dumb hero as a combo of the Tick and the Crimson Chin, even getting some 'wow that was cool' and some laughter for his efforts. He counted that as one of the best times in his life, just before paying $100.00 to have Mark Hamil sign his Batman the Animated Series Box Set, and just after he watched Captain America and being pleasantly surprised that Marvel/Disney would be making some pretty good movies.

Jacob's been the Craigs house a bunch of times. While Craig was a jerk and would bully the group, Jacob remained faithful... he didn't have much of a choice. Any other friends he could RP with dropped out of interest midway through the college years. He could go online but they weren't quite the same. You had to be at the table. You had to see the faces and the movements to make it stand out.

He came into the room on the earlier side. He wore a big grin when he came in, announcing himself. "H-hey everyone!" He brought his laptop bag with his papers and sheets in it along with his laptop that has every bit of table top pdf literature that he'd think he would need. Considering the nebulous nature of the game, Jacob just loaded them all up and brought them all. 12.1 Gigs of endless pages of rules, spells, and monster manuals.

Jacob took a seat near Craig and opened his bag, handing him a small stack of his character sheets. "You sure I c-can play him? I mean -what other kinds of characters are everyone playing? I mean if someone else wants to play a warrior type, th-thats okay, I have my other characters just in case." It was obvious he wasn't okay by the way his smile wavered but Jacob didn't really stand up for himself and if someone else wanted to do what he was trying to do, nine times out of ten he let them. "So I can play an Exalted character right? I mean, are we even playing that? You weren't very clear." He tried to pry more info out of Craig but Craig was already furiously looking over the other characters he recieved.

Jacob would spend the rest of the early bits waving and saying hi to anyone that came in, whether he knew them or not. Welcoming, but it came off in a little brother kind of way. He also ate sandwiches and asked other players about their characters. He was happy to share his, finding his image online and showing it off. He even offered to help those that didn't have a character appearance by looking online for them. It was a great way to welcome people and break the ice.
Ill respond after that ^^
I'd be happy to help if you need the additional GMs.
Character Name: Marius
Time of Day: Morning to Afternoon
Location: Auditorium of the main hall to the classroom to the practice fields
Interacting with: Den

Marius spent the morning doing what he usually did, trying to convince those around him of his greatness, belittling the mediocrity of it all, and thinking and planning how his companions would fit into his grand master plans, which mostly involved alot of talking about them out loud with barely any semblance of reference. To an outsider, the injured boy seemed to be unhinged, much like some of those around him. It made one wonder whether Meadowmist Students were the odd balls.

At any rate, he got his robes, this time actually appropriate to his house colors (The nurses just gave him one off handedly) which fit him sublimely. "Very heroic." And then he realized everyone was wearing them. This crushed his image of the constant need to stand out. He almost accused them of copying him but he reminded himself they were a team and they had to have commonality. Unity and all that nonsense. He then had a lower opinion of the 'freshman uniform' but he kept his opinion to himself... atleast vocally.

The orientation was when Marius was the most quiet. He viewed the Headmistress, the one who gave him his injuries with a look of cold calculated scorn. The whole time she spoke he had been thinking, scheming, plotting, attempting to maybe beat her not with force but by over-achieving her little curriculum, or by planning some other plan of attack to take her off balance. It was fate that he sit in the audience today, but anyone who beat him was a challenge, a challenge that must be overcome to his glory.

He was lost in thought for most of lunch because each plan of his kept leading to his own downfall. It left him quiet and irritable. He only spoke when spoken at.

Finally out in the yard with their teacher... he didn't catch his name. He was more focused on the open field and was looking forward to testing his mettle and skill and showing his companions how its really done. He grinned as his boots hit the grass. "Finally." He grinned. "Practical application. Who really cares how it works as long as it does?" He would have the most benefits out here in the yard. The classes are just going to be a waste of time for him.

The teacher called them to a line, and Marius was sure to be in the front where he belongs. He had his hands on his hips while he stood heroically, waiting for the moment where he could step forward and show everyone the great destiny that was planned for the Hero.

He stepped to the square, head held high. "Good afternoon. I certainly don't need an introduction, but I've seen first hand that this school is ignorant to legends that walk among them. Marius Sirvaki. The Phoenix Dawn! My affinities are Abjuration and Evocation. The only schools that actually matter." He flipped his head and held a hand up as if shruggin. "Honestly, I wonder why the school even bothers teaching anything else, but- I guess some people are destined to be... fortune tellers, or party magicians." He couldn't really think of anything of practical purpose. Magic was a tool, and for those destined to save the world, magic was his sword and shield.

After the proctor got the information and gave him the go ahead to demonstrate, he lowered his stance, the wisps of mana visible as his fingers made the seal. His form seemed to be silhouetted and imposed in a number of arcane symbols that seemed to flicker as if made of smoldering fire. "I thought you'd never ask. Flame Wall!" He made a motion with his hands, striking his forearms and gripping the bit of mana from the air into his fist, emphasizing the power needed to twist two schools into one spell of awesome power. Extending from the little box as if a line of bonfires with wicker of paper wedged inbetween the logs, all set a blaze, a fire with tongues as tall as a man surged from the ground, almost obscuring Marius from the proctor.

His voice arising over the fire that was killing the grass and lighting the nearby shrubbery ablaze. "As you can plainly see, I have mastered both schools and am able to implement both at the same time. But that isn't all." He ducked low, the mana appearing again forming the sigils but this time, one hand held bits of blue light, while the other seemed to crackle and spark with energy. He jumped, and then seemed to jump again, forming a barrier under his feet, that he pushed off again, to clear the flames. In the motion, his other hand reeled back and a bolt of lightening formed inside of it. "Thunder Lance!" He cleared the flames and launched the bolt towards the ground, having it burst with a boom and a flash of light some meters infront of the proctor, leaving only a blackened patch of grass at its passing.

With his demonstration done, he waved his hands, causing all of his effects to vanish, himself standing tall and proud. "A perfect combination of defense and offense. You may promote me to the next grade now." He seemed oblivious to the fact that he managed to cause quite a bit of damage to the courtyard around him, a large ugly scorch mark of grass, a bush burned to a crisp, and an innocent tree whose branch took such fire damage that the branch fell to the ground into splinters and the tree itself still had embers and was in danger of catching fire.
So, is this happening?
