Phoenix Dawn's powers stem from absorbing light energy like from the sun. Light feeds directly as additional energy into Dawn's musculature which act as batteries for the stored photonic energy. When powered, Dawn's muscle body mass grows by 30% and additional radiation is discharged passively as golden light, the molten aspects of his form burning brighter, or fiery sparks. Dawn's main powers are strength and toughness far beyond biological limits. Dawn has a lifting capacity of 2,000 MG and a punching strength of over 300,000 kJ, enough to raise air temperature around his fist by a staggering 121 C and easily tear through 56 cm Stainless Steel. Defense wise, he has gotten scratched by equally powerful foes and attacks, but little else seems to slow him down. His speed is only slightly higher than that of normal human, but often he simply leaps where he is needed. He can clear a mile easily with a running start. Dawn also seems to be empowered while exposed to sun or bright lights, he gets a slight healing factor while doing so, shrugging off potentially debilitating wounds.
Dawn's powers leave him incredibly prone to causing alot in collateral damage and thus during his initial recovery and training, he has been specifically trained in meditative and disciplined martial arts that favor over the top techniques, wrestling, and fight ended single attacks. His expertise in learning such disciplines has manifested in additional abilities. These are theorized to be a way to manipulate the energy to be discharged into other effects.
Notable abilities are:
Ready in Ten Directions- In a two yard sphere around him, Dawn can repel and deflect any attack at a blurring speed. He will use this technique to defend others whom can enter freely regardless of his blinding pace at which he will block incoming attacks. He however CANNOT move from this sphere while it is up and needs a solid surface to do so.
Sledgehammer Fist Punch- Rather than punching through a wall, the attack causes the wall to crumble. Inanimate objects take more damage than a fist sized hole.
Golden Fists of Battle- His fists actually light aflame and glow with golden fire. This effect appears entirely cosmetic, perhaps to make Dawn look more fearsome against his foes.
Hurl to the Horizon- Any object that Dawn can lift, can be thrown, the whole thing, defying that physics would not allow a bumper to support the weight of the car. Anything that Dawn can see, can be struck, but that doesnt stop those from getting out of the way.
Foe Breaking Shockwave- Striking any service, or even a foe can cause a shockwave, knocking down the foes allies.
Immunity to Everything Technique- Unlike the name, it isn't actually everything. He shrugs off mundane poisons, diseases, or effects with some effort. He still appears to be prone to more super powered effects.
Elemental Adaptation Prana Mundane conditions of heat or cold seem to not slow down the Dawn. This ability has no effect against elemental or super-powered sources of heat or cold.

Description:
Dawn seems to be a man mixed with a fire spirit. Lines of magma crackle over his muscles, his hands glow when he prepares for battle, his hair seems more a mane ablaze, even his eyes are unseen under the pools of golden fire that make them up. His skin when not set with fire has almost a rock or metallic like texture as if his very skin is cast from heated bronze and bent into armor. He keeps his attire very simple, using his own body as his weapon and shield, standing proudly in the simplest clothes against any foe. He still has formal outfits but he finds them all very hot and constricting.
Personality:
Bombastic, larger than life, and fully believing he is doing the right thing. Dawn is stubborn, self-sure, and given to the idea of the knightly style and disposition. He is often times the loudest in the room, and fully taken to being in to spotlight and the attention he gets. In the field, he is direct, hard hitting, and prone to being the front line powerhouse. He will most assuredly go out of his way to save civilians and bring swift justice to the villainous. He is a team player, but often views others as liabilities. They are not as strong, or as tough, but he doesn't openly complain, saving them brings him glory and reaffirms his already massive ego. He isn't a hero. He is THE HERO! The knights code of chivalry is all he knows and cares about.
The one that everyone should strive to be. His obnoxious, holier than though, goody goody boy scout antics no doubt gets on others nerves, but Dawn always means well. Nothing makes him happier than being in the accolades of his adoring fans or standing with his fellow knights shoulder to shoulder against wickedness.
On the flip side, Dawn is naive, ignorant, and gullible. He can be easily manipluated. He can always be counted on to do the noble thing, and thus that makes his behavior predictable. He has been tricked to perform some pretty vile things at the behest of his leaders whom made sure to keep their evil schemes out of his pure perfect ears. So long as he follows 'the path of chivalry and righteousness' he can do no wrong. To his kingdom, he is a knight above knights. To everyone else, hes a hypocrite and a damn destructive one at that. When faced a crisis of his loyalty to the crown, and his desire to follow the knight's code of chivalry, he will almost shut down, deciding which course is the right one.
He's not autonomous. He won't attack innocent civilians, or flee when others are in danger, particularly by standards or his comrades. He will also be a reason for alot of collateral damage during a battle, and can be prone to giving into potentially apocalyptic rages when faced against particularly horrible wickedness. Finally he will go off schedule to be and appear as an ideal of heroism. Hiding, stealth, cleverness, they are not his strong suites, as he'd rather be out of the open, showing his fearlessness when subtly would be better. So sure of his own self righteousness, he can do no wrong, atleast in his own eyes, and even when he lives a moment of temptation and vice, he can easily write it off.
Skills:
Dawns' expertise and speciality are completely dedicated to martial arts and wrestling. Having been an underground pit fighter, his style is as showy as it is effective. Out of this tough and brutal mode of hand to hand combat, Kyros developed an surprisingly esoteric martial art he calls the Shining Phoenix Style. This martial arts style can also employ unconventional weapons, utilizing things like bar stools, musical instruments, road signs, vehicles, etc to great effect.
He has also developed some tactical skills when it comes to combat, knowing the eb and flo of a battle and how to use the environment and his opponents strengths and composure to his advantage. The environment also becomes his weapon as his brawling style has no semblance of a disciplined honorable warrior.
Kyros had also developed a pretty good arm and is capable of chucking items with devastating precision and power.
In his travels, Kyros has picked up a fair bit of useful skills. He can command a room with his presence, inspiring others to greatness or trying to convince them what the righteous path might be, condemning those who take advantage of others. He also developed a keen eye for cause and effect and how it pertains to society. Sometimes slugging some thugs won't fix the problem, sometimes you have to go after the bosses who hide behind their money and walls of concrete.
Phoenix Dawn lives by the knight's code of chivalry. He eats, drinks, lives, and breaths it. He knows the culture of knighthood inside and out and all of the virtues they live and strive for, setting the example.
Other than that, he's pretty unskilled when it comes to technology or anything complicated. He knows a few things, but he just isn't very intelligent. He views those who build, craft, understand, and teach with the upmost respect, mainly because his skill set is so limited.
Weaknesses:
The Phoenix Dawn is a powerhouse physically, but mentally is a different story. The Dawn is not particularly intelligent, favoring a direct approach to anything that might work better or be more expedient or less costly. Additionally, his gullibility and naive all encompassing view of chivalry and justice can be manipulated. He has cast down someone, causing them financial ruin merely by a well timed and partly believable rumor rather than any fact. It is how his superiors control him, knowing full well he is an asset to be exploited, and can be easily controlled by taking advantage of his loyalty.
He will never lie. He will never break an oath, or a promise. He will be tricked into fighting foes honorably when they themselves will cheat. The Dawn has been beaten several times because of his misguided sense of fairness.
His power weakens in the dark. Cut off from light, he has nothing to replenish his powers and eventually his techniques will begin to fail until he cant use them at all. He gets noticeably smaller, so that even his enemies know that he is weakening.
Brief History:
Kyros was forged in battle, and tempered in blood. He doesn't remember his parents. Whether he was sold, or kidnapped, or just forgotten, it just never really mattered to him. All he remembers is the brutal world of the arena. He and other children his age were only taught the barest of education before the rest of their day was intended for hellish combat exercises and bone breaking sparring drills. Dawn was a natural. He took to the adrenaline and the thirst for battle like it was his true calling. He would charge in, sometimes casting aside his blade and turn even a proper sparring duel into a bloody brawl, the fire in his eyes and screams like a wild beast to enhance and entrance the audience. He did it for his sponsors and trainers, his fellow gladiators, all of whom he thought of as family. Mostly though, he did it for glory. For the fame and accolades of an appeased crowd. It was in their eyes that he felt alive, that he felt like something the world needed to acknowledge. Maybe it was a bit of defiance for his lot in life.
His future was not set for glory. It was set for the laboratories. The lord's experiments on the common serfs had hit a dead end. Despite the gifts, the particulars of their experiment, infusing elemental powers and gifts into others to compound their power. It was never meant for the experiments to enjoy, the lords themselves wanted it, ripping the gifts from others to give themselves more personal power.
The pain was... without words. Over and over again was he sliced open, injected, spun, drained, charged, drowned, poisoned. He should have died, hundreds of times. Maybe it was his gift that kept him living through the process. His mind broke, his soul a wisp of its former self. But he lived. He lived, and he was infused with the power of fire and light. It manifested in strength and power, changing his body. But it also, changed his mind, filled the vessel of his very spirit.
He heard voices, saw visions of great deeds by heroes under the sun. His drug addled resting periods or convalescence were filled inspiring words, speeches, and great acts of heroism by the knights. It was impossible, but it was as if the sun, every unchanging, ever unconquerable was calling out to its lost sun through the tiniest cracks in Kyros' cell.
One day. One shining day. Kyros made a fist. Phoenix Dawn rose from the ashes that was the Lord's experiments. All their work, evil, and wickedness were torn down into cleansing flames and torn asunder with righteous fury. A man smiled among the flame. A man changed, a shining beacon for the world. He fell to the depths of the deepest void and now shines brighter than all.
The beast that was Kyros was gone, now stood a man that wanted nothing save destroy the evils that inflicted such pain upon him. His hands, his weapons, they could make things better for people. He trained, using his own hands and power to get stronger, his fists to carry the ideals of chivalry, his feet to carry the pillars of justice. He developed his own martial arts style, eskewing weapons as an ideal to fight for peace.
He kneeled before the King, begging that he serve the nation.
Other:
If Dawn finds any wickedness of those he serves, they had best a good explanation. If not, Dawn can and will cast off his loyalties and seek a more noble path that doesn't serve a villain. Phoenix will also make sure that the villain pays for 'tricking' him.
