I am an adult, though I don't usually act like it. I'm a voracious reader, and not overly picky about books. I am artistic in a variety of areas, including music, drawing, writing, and sculpting. I have a minor obsession with dragons, and love the color violet. Fantasy is my preferred genre, be it past, future, urban...as long as it has a fantasy flavor to it. I also like scifi, mystery, and some horror. I am crazy, and I like tormenting my characters. But I don't bite...much. ^.~

Why are we using Marine ranks? O.o And I totally enlisted as an officer, not a footsoldier. *kicks* =P
Additionally, Commander is not the top rank for most things. You want General or Admiral. Commander is one step higher than Lieutenant, and lower than Captain. Unless you say Commander in Chief, which is a little different.

@Kurai Assassin Hey, if we're gonna have IC ranks, I wanna call Captain of the Color Guard -- though I honestly don't know if that'd fit how I'm gonna play.... Cheshire should be...hm, most armies don't really use drummers/bugleists (sp?) anymore, but...perhaps Drum Major?
@Rumplestiltskin Ooh, interesting interpretation. I always read them as a little more frail, but that's really only against disease and magical weapons.
