Nation: Tsaesci Kingdom
To many outsiders, Akavir seems constantly at war with itself, in reality, this is not far from the truth. Before the 4th era, it was hard to find a peaceful day in Akavir. The battles primarily raged on between the Tsaescis and Ka Po Tun during winter months, Tang Mo and Kamal during summer months. Death and destruction was the daily order, and as a result, all four major nations developed their own warrior cultures.
It was not until roughly the beginning of the fourth era, in Tamrielic calendar (Akavir has a different time keeping system,but for the sake of simplicity, I’ll sync all times to Tamrielic standards), had the dusts of war finally settled for good. The Tsaesci king, Sherian-Doake, has reached an agreement with the Ka Po Tun. In the following months, the Tang Mo and the Kamal was added to this newly created alliance.
The new alliance however, was not a perfect display of comradery. The Ka Po Tun for example, stilled held suspicions of their half snake neighbors. Rather than having combined strength, the nations merely held a fragile peace.
Mostly recently, the legendary Tsaesci king Sherian-Doake has fallen ill due to his old age. Now over 400 years old, the king’s failing heath confined him in his palace, at constant care of royal physicians. Power is now vested in the Potentate Esthera-Vash, the High General Abasi-Kil and the Imperial Council. This new leadership sought to expand their empire beyond the traditional domains of Akavir, so they looked to the west, to a land they have not visited in a thousand years.
Semi constitutional monarchy (Monarch mostly performing ceremonial duties due to his old age, most administrations fall to the Potentate.)

Political agenda: With imperialistic and expansionist minds, the Tsaescis spearhead an invasion of Tamriel.
Akaviri Alliance
Army: The Tsaesci army is undoubtedly the most powerful in Akavir. Most soldiers come from volunteers; military service is seen as an act of honor by the Tsaesci warrior culture. Occasionally, the kingdom enacts conscription, though this was only done before in times of desperate defense (ie. Tamrielic invasion during the 3rd era).
The regular Tsaesci soldier is armed with a katana, forged from high quality steel alloy. The wear armor similar to that of the Blades, except that they are specially shaped for Tseasci’s serpentine lower body. With the exceptions of a few shock units, most warriors do not carry shields, as they fare poorly with Tsaesci physiology and training doctrines.
Heavy units are equipped with siege weapons, with the typical bland of catapult, ballistas and battering rams. Recently, Tsaesci alchemists have discovered a formula for explosive powder. Though capable of being used to fuel projectiles, the rare nature of its ingredients and volatility limited its use to highly specialized situations.
The army also maintains a battlemage corp. Most of these mages specialize in destruction for combat purposes or alteration for logistics/transport. The most elite of all battlemages are the Stormmages. Recruiting from the most promising of all magick wielders, the Stormmages are trained to manipulate weather. The usage of weather control can range from creating favorable wind conditions for sailing to conjuring blizzards for freezing enemies to death.
The total number of regular forces amount to the equivalent of twenty Imperial legions. However, many specialized units fall on the outside of regular army organization. One of such units are the Dragonguards, an order stemming from ancient times, when dragons still roamed Akavir. The Dragonguards act as advance strike forces, with all of their members equipped with refined quicksilver weapons and armors, and are trained to fight a a level of no equivalence. Some senior Dragonguards are users of Kiai, the Akaviri equavilent of the Nordic Th'uum. On average, a single Dragonguard can easily cut down a whole group of human/elf/beast soldiers.
Tsaesci tacticians often call for superior maneuvering, surprise attacks, prolonged sieges and feint retreats. Overall, the Tsaescis value quality over quantity, though certain not lacking in number, each Tseasci soldier is carefully selected from pools of volunteers, undergo gruesome training regimes and equipped with the finest weapons.
Navy: Compared to its land force counter-part, the Tsaesci navy is fairly new. Although the ancient Tseascis invaded Tamriel with a large fleet, it was disassembled during the beginning of the second era. With the Great Peace negotiated between Akaviri nations during the beginning of the fourth era, the snake-men once again sought to construct a fleet capable of both claiming naval superiority and transporting expeditionary forces.
Majority of the Tsaesci fleet is consisted of red seal ships. These ships are built from durable Akaviri wood and reinforced with a mysterious metal known to stand against rough waves and offensive projectiles. The hulls have firing ports to accommodate self-targeting magickal crystals, weapons powered by the souls of goblin slaves.
Naval navigation are conducted commonly through mundane methods. However, each flag ship carries a complement of battlemages dedicated to magickally assisted sailing techniques. These mages are similar to their army counterparts but focusing more on alteration instead of combat destruction.
The Tsaesci navy sails hundreds of vessels of varying sizes. Compared to Tamrielic standards, their quality is somewhere between Redguard and Altmer ships, in terms of numbers, they are just a little shy of the Imperial Navy at its peak.
Others: Both the Tang Mo and the Kamal have pledged their support to the Tsaesci led invasion. Each of the two races field their own expeditionary forces roughly the size of a single imperial legion. The Ka Po Tun, however, refused to commit militarily. But a group of Ka Po Tun mercenaries have found employment under the Tsaesci government, and they currently act as scouts ahead of the main invasion.
The Tsaescis are half snake and half human creatures, they are physically imposing and intellectually adept. The typical Tsaesci stands at 2 meters tall, they have the upper body of typical humans with the lower serpent like features. Their long lives often span many centuries, but most individuals over 300 years old require "vampiric" supplements such as goblin blood to stay at top physical conditions.
Tsaesci society favors wisdom,dedication and strength. The most elite Tsaescis are wise scholars/mages, renowned politicians/public servants and heroic generals. The middle class consisted of regular citizens of all kinds, from soldiers to artists, business owners to professionals. Lastly, a large stock of goblins are kept as slaves. They are frequently butchered for their blood (proven beneficial to Tsaesci health) or sacrificed for filling soul gems.
The Tsaesci religion consisted of a similar pantheon to their Tamrielic counterparts, their creation myth has many parallels to that of the Redguards', albeit with their own twist.
