In her mind, she was stupid, crazy and a complete idiot for sending a text to Reed. As she continuing to help customers, they noticed a shift in her attitude and asked her what was wrong. Her customers truly cared about her as that brought a smile to her face.
"Men." She muttered that simple word and even though some customers were men, they all nodded their head in agreement.
"Sorry, everyone but don't mind me. I'll be fine." Roxanne said while taking care of a few more customers before going out to clean off some tables and collect trash. She felt her phone buzz in her pocket and took it out as she went back around the counter. It was Reed. His text was just as vague as hers. She bit her bottom lip on what to reply back.
To: Reed
Uhm, I cannot find my scrunchie, did I leave it at your place?
She sent the message then leaned back on the counter, waiting for a few more people to leave before going out there to clean more tables. Roxanne let out a slight sigh as she looked at her phone again as it vibrated on the counter. It was Ryan, her adorable roommate. She read the text with a smile then widened her eyes at the last part of the text. Her fingers tapped rapidly on the keyboard as she immediately sent her a text back.

He's in our apartment?! Why?! And you can invite him, I guess. Just get him out of the apartment! >.>
She was not a happy camper right about now. Reed was in her apartment alone with Ryan, that's nothing but trouble. Roxanne rested her face into the palm of her hand, letting out a groan of frustration. She was seriously upset right about now and didn't know how to deal with it. Roxanne felt her phone buzz again as she looked down at it and saw Zay's name scroll across the screen. The text stated that she was five minutes away but of course, Roxanne knew that it wasn't true.
To: Zay :D
Okay. See you when you get here.
Roxanne sent the message then stood upright while going back into the lobby to clean off a few more tables and collect the little trash they had left behind. She had waved them goodbye as they were leaving then went back behind the counter, looking at Amanda, who was going on break. Roxanne didn't like that girl so she made her face scrunched up towards her as she departed. Her elbows met with the counter top once again as she looked at the female coming in. It was Zay and everyone literally lit up when she entered, greeting them all. Everyone seemingly rushed towards the counter to greet and talk with her.
"Okay, everyone. Give my girl some space. As you can see, we're all doing good." She had said while turning around and looking at Zay now after hearing her statement.
"Uhm, I'm not sure about that." She bit her bottom lip out of nerves then turned to grabbed Zay's usual order, sitting it down in front of her.
"And I am sure whatever you decide to sing, the crowd will love it." She said with a smile while wiping the counter down in the process.
"You know what? I am going to get up there and sing tonight." Roxanne said towards Zay with a reassuring nod of her head. Now that she spoke those words, she had to make her bed and lay in it soon. She needed to find a song to sing and it needed to be good. No, great. Roxanne slumped back down onto the counter while looking out of the window now. Seeing the people pass by, talking and laughing with one another made her smile as well. Even though she was wondering what Ryan and Reed were doing in the apartment right about now and hoped Ryan was able to convince him to leave or get him out.
