β–Ί The Rules

β€’ Have Fun
This rule is one of the most important ones as we're all here for the same reasons and that is to write a collaborative story with one another so why not have a little fun along the way. Do not take anything seriously within this thread.

β€’ Respect
Please respect your fellow roleplayers within this thread, along with myself and the roleplay. Nothing much to be said here but let's all just respect one another, please.

β€’ Drama
Okay, while In Character drama is very much encouraged, I do not condone in Out of Character drama, at all. So, please leave all of the juiciness within the In Character. If you have a problem with someone, please take it to PMs and if I need to get involved, just let me know via PM.

β€’ Characters
This is a medieval, realistic themed roleplay so all characters must be human. Please make sure that your characters are realistic, interesting and give them flaws. Back then, no one was truly perfect especially the royals. I also want to see well thought out characters whether you're playing a King, Queen, Lord, Lady or whatever. I will allow you to play up to two characters, as well.

β€’ Character Sheets
I want to see length and effort within your sheets. Remember that your sheet is practically your application. Pictures must be Medieval but please, make sure your image or gif is realistic and not anime or an illustration of some sort. If you need help with finding a picture, please let me know and I will try my best to help you. You have at least three days to complete a character sheet. Please sure to [@mention] me whenever you have completed your character.

β€’ Posting
This is a high casual standard roleplay, which means that I am expecting writers to write at least two and a half to three paragraphs or more filled with character development, emotions, interactions and thoughts for each post. Please do not post one liners as they do not drive forward the story. Be considerate when posting your posts and make sure that you have read everyone's post before posting your own. If your character and another character are going to be in a long ass conversation, please get together and do a collab post. Also, do not let you post be one of those posts where you've copied and wrote very little about what your character did. If that makes sense. Please wait until at least two people have posted after your last post before you post again.

β€’ Godmodding or Autohitting
Just don't do either of these. If you do not know what these mean then maybe this is not the roleplay for you.

β€’ Activity & Commitment
If you make a character then please be committed enough to follow through with that character, or characters. I require that you post at least two times a week! If you cannot post for whatever reason then please let me know since I know from experience that work, life and even studies can interfere without notice. Five days is the minimum amount of time that I'll allow you to be silent in the OOC and IC. I will write your character out of the roleplay if you do not post.

β€’ PG-13
While romance is allowed and definitely encouraged between characters, making out is fine but fade to black or take it to PMs for anything further. Minimum swearing with your posts, as well.

β€’ Inclusiveness
While I understand that some characters might not get along, please make sure that you at least try to interact your character with everyone else's character. Embrace that within the roleplay, might cause some drama or something.

β€’ Miscellaneous
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, do not hesitate to voice them within the thread and I will try my best to get back with you as soon as I can. And to make sure you read the rules, please put your favorite time period within the extra section of the sheet.

{ One Kingdom have now become two separate Kingdoms because of an old
ancient rivalry. But will these Kingdoms come together and reunite as one,
once again? Or will the Kings of their respective Kingdom die trying finish
what their ancestors started? }

β–Ί Creative Credit

I'd like to give the credit where the credit is definitely due as I do not own any rights to this medieval themed roleplay. I've been granted permission by one of my friends from another site to reboot this masterpiece of hers and I hope to make her proud and do her justice. Plus, I suck at making Medieval roleplays.

β–Ί In Character Information

Many years ago, they say that there was once a tribe that inhabited these lands. They were a peaceful people, more or less, who lived as simple hunters and gatherers. But, this method of life could never work for a people who craved to advance. Eventually, they settled among the rivers and valleys, building a small, but suitable town. Their leader was a strong, courageous man, who dubbed himself a king, received by the villagers with not much enthusiasm. From this leader came two strong, young twin boys known as Edward and Henry. The slightly elder of the two, Edward, was the bolder of the two who constantly craved attention and respect from his future subjects. He was brash and acted without thinking, surprisingly winning his father's favor. The younger of the twins, Henry, was much darker than his brother. He possessed a high intellect and was much less daring than his twin. However, he had a strong greed that drove him to terrible deeds.

All went well in the village, which was now presided over by a large, grandiose castle. However, this was bound to change. Eventually, the twins found themselves on either side of their father's death bed. With his dying breath, he bequeathed the kingdom to his eldest, Edward, who was also his favorite. Enraged and feeling betrayed, Henry left the kingdom for years, vowing he would never live under the rule of one so incompetent. Again, things seemed to move on merrily in the kingdom, which was growing more prosperous as the days went on.

Years passed and the King was startled to find a vaguely familiar man show up in his court one day, stating he was there to claim what was rightfully his. Upon closer examination, the King realized the intruder was none other than his younger brother, Henry, come to claim what he believed to be his birth right. He stated he had already built himself a new kingdom toward the edge of his brother's land and that his brother should surrender the kingdom to him- or else. Being the stubborn, brash man he was, the King scoffed at this offer and sent his brother away, ignoring his "proposition". Again, another year passed uneventfully, save for the occasional quarrel on the border of the Edward and Henry's kingdoms. Then, one morning, the battle began. In what seemed like an instant, Edward's kingdom was brutally attacked with legions of men, all claiming to fight in Henry's name. The unsuspecting kingdom was left weak and its king had a sudden thirst for revenge.

And so, the constant fighting and warfare carried on for many, countless years. The kings decided naming their kingdoms and so, Edward's kingdom became Sliabh and Henry's became Abhainn. Henry's forces were able to advance until both kings had roughly half of the land, but they were met by Edward's forces and stuck in a stand-still. The feuds continued until the former kings, George III of Sliabh and Fredrick VI of Abhainn, finally came to a truce to end the senseless bloodshed. It was said that this truce would finally bring peace between the two and end the fighting that had ravished both countries. The treaty was to be finalized, though Fredrick died suddenly, leaving the kingdom to his only son along with the throne.

Not long after, George also perished and left his kingdom to his heir. The treaty still is pending, however. To add to it, the sister of Sliabh's king has been offered to Abhainn's king as a bride, hoping that it will unite the kingdoms again by blood. In return, Fredrick had offered the kingdom of Sliabh an eighth of its land, consisting mostly of forest. Now, it is up to these young heirs to either finalize what their parents were doing, ending the conflict, or to simply increase the conflict until one kingdom perishes. The fate of the kingdoms is now in the hands of them and their subjects. Choose wisely.
β–Ί Out Of Character Information

Hello, everyone. Welcome to the thread produced by yours truly, HushedWhispers. This is a realistic, medieval themed roleplay based around two kingdoms that have been at war with each other for centuries but now that a treaty is in place, will the violence stop? This is also a rather high casual roleplay and it'll be more character driven along with plot driven, as well. What that means is, whatever choices your character makes or their responses your character makes, it will affect their involvement within the roleplay and the plot is pretty simple, reunite the Kingdoms by marriage and blood. The roleplay will begin with the Future Queen of Abhainn(my character), arriving to Abhainn and being properly introduced once again to the Sliabh's King and a celebration will be held to celebrate their arrival and the union. I feel like it's a great place to start.

β–Ί Character Sheet

I understand that the sheet might be quite extensive but I do not expect everything to be perfect so just take your time with it, please.
@HushedWhispers Thank you :)

You can start. I don't mind at all...I got a starter to do myself for an rp.

Sounds good then. :) I’ll try my best to get it up tonight.
@HushedWhispers They are cool :) seems like the four districts, we picked...will make a good team :)

Sure, we can star there.

Thanks. So do your characters. :)

Also, would you like to start or shall I? You’d be waiting quite awhile for me because of work.
@HushedWhispers
Still interested. Hoping to keep the role if possible, although I'll likely end up reworking the character since it was made around the old King.

Sounds good. :)
<Snipped quote by HushedWhispers>

Yes @Blonded is playing Lord Sleete, and the oldest son characters. Lady of the house is Lord Steeles wife.

That’s what I figured. Just wanted to be sure. :) Thanks.

Thanks to you, too, @Heat. :3
@HushedWhispers I'm not the GM but I'm pretty sure the Lady means Lady of the House, so the wife of the current lord. Like Caitlyn Stark.

I know that but isn’t @Blonded playing the Lord? I was asking before I started my character.
@HushedWhispers

Always a pleasure to have you my friend ^^

That makes my heart happy. :D
