Honestly... If Karn chose to just hang with Mithera and Melina all the time, instead of joining Phoenix Wing, that doesn't have to entirely be a ship. Maybe.

Psh, ships don't have to make sense. At least, not many of the ones I've seen, from a pure character standpoint, would make sense, even how the fanfic explains it. And ignoring any sexual preferences.

Karn made a purring noise alongside a happy chuckle as he was patted on the back before having the massive metal hand covering his head in a light pat. Setting the man free from the friendly hug, the blonde looked up with a bright smile. "You're welcome. Sorry for wacking you like that though. My human self isn't quite strong enough to push someone that fast." Karn apologized before looking toward the black spiderdog, seeming to argue with the guards in her own way. The small boy looked to Jayce again at the question, slightly frowning as he nervously looked to the building. "I don't know, I think Minni is asking Lizardman about it. But... I know it doesn't smell good. It smells... Like confined living toxic. Very dangerous. And it's radiating so much magical power, it makes my skin crawl." Karn said, trying to somewhat explain the odd scent and the feeling his animalistic side felt.

Edo-Karn Interacting: Edo-Jamie, Edo-Sasha, Edo-Trinity

"As much fun as drinking is, one of us has to be the responsible one and that apparently is me. And whatever you say Ice-Queen, but I think last time you got too drunk to kick any sort of butt." Edo-Karn responded, mildly rolling their eyes at their flirtatious acts, watching as a little girl came down and got some water before leaving. Soon, they were blinking a little as they listened to Sasha practically screaming at Lazarus before storming in. Soon slapping Edo-Sasha across the face, yelling at her, finishing off the drink, then storming upstairs into Edo-Sasha's room. Edo-Karn watched a little surprised at the act before slightly grinning in minor amusement. "Well, I guess she does have some of the Ice Queen's spice in her." Edo-Karn said before moving closer, placing the right hand on top of the dark colored hair then leaning close and placing their lips against the slapped cheek briefly before pulling away and mildly ruffling the hair like a child. "Don't worry too much. You're in charge until we get back. Try to make sure nothing bad happens. So pay attention. That goes for you too, Highlights." the blonde said slightly firmly to both Edo-Sasha and Edo-Trinity before turning to Edo-Jamie. "Alright, let's go then." Edo-Karn said before heading to the machine. Typing a few things on it and pulling a lever. Causing a soft rumble and the floor on the left side to shift away to reveal a set of stairs leading downwards.
