When it comes to Saina, yes, she is graceful and elegant, yes, she is calm, but she is far from perfect. She got caught in a net, a rather large and easily unavoidable one. She got captured. She couldn't slay the kraken on her own. She needed the help she got.

The tone of that might sound accusatory due to the 'language' of computer text and all but I do mean it. You still appear to find Saina to be cool and near flawless even though she's presented several flaws and has struggled physically and mentally over the course of the rp. The point is you can have your cake and eat it too. If you WANT us to perceive her as being flawed, as being incredibly rough, as being someone who came from nothing like you make her out to be, then you've done a very poor job of showing it to us.

What you KNOW about a character means nothing unless it is SEEN. X3

OR TIDUS FOR THAT MATTER. Have you seen the guy fight??? He himself is REALLY not that good. He gets the job done, that's for sure, but he definitely has no style to it x-x Auron, now he had style.
If you ask me, a 6'8 hulking woman is never going to be graceful. The words that come to mind are clunky, awkward, but entirely practical.

And Alex hasn't fought the Kraken. She hit one tentacle. Stuck in the edge of the ship. She almost got hit by a beam if not for Urick. She only fought all the little creature on the ship and the only actual big creature she did fight was the Garuda which did fuck her up.

Saina, fought the Kraken with help and one shotted Aeon Nai. Granted, she did get really drained on it, but it is now a known ability she can magically push ice from in a body and out.

And I figured after twenty years, Tidus would have gotten a bit better at the sword. He isn't a kid anymore.

As for a friend, she's only really been a perfect friend to Naisha. From the beginning and now. She's kinda treated Urick poorly and a bit Gippal. For a good portion of the time. She was good to them until the temple point.

What did she do as thanks for Urick when he saved her. Yelled at him. She did apologize but still, not a good friend if you yell at a longtime friend for saving your ass.

Or when she met Eva, what she do? Jump to conclusions, snap at Eva, yell at them and storm off. Yes, she asked Urick for a explanation, but she hardly gave him any time to properly reply despite knowing how he is.

And didn't really talk to them on good terms until on the boat. And even then it was only cause she was listening the story.

And when they got to the island and was starting being nice to them, she snapped again in town. I mean she made Urick disgusted. Urick. And now, she snapped at her friend again, being Braska, giving her sound advice to shut the hell up.

As for not fighting, why? In what point did any of them cause a reason for a fight? I probably should of put Sifen since ya know, he looked suspicious with bringing in the Calvary xD

Plus, when was there time for fighting? They got on the boat, slept, got in a battle, got shipwrecked, relaxed a few breathes then more shit started xD

But the reason is she is trying not to fight them because they are Guardians. She takes guardianship seriously and that means trying to not fight other guardians unless it is sparring which will probably be a thing when everyone is healthy. It will probably still happen and granted I didn't explain that in post. But again, none of them really have done much, even Saina whom Alex has barely spoken to. Only to say rotten things, or when Urick was involved.

She will probably be angry again with Urick and Braska.

And look what she did now, she got her friends in trouble with the law and KO'd. At their first temple beside Besaid. In like a hour. Good friend. XD

Does she try her best to protect them? Yes. But to be a "perfect" friend it takes more than that.

But hey, I know you don't care for me.

But, I shall attempt to try a bit better and apologize for being a appalling Rper xD

She didn't have anyone to train with or any sort of master swordman to learn from and yet she both moves and attacks like someone that's trained under the best swordsman. Have you ever seen someone learn how to do things on their own? It's MESSY unless someone has the grace to teach them. It's just too fluent, and way too good for a self-made swordsman. I can't give anything away about Saina at this point in time but she's only HALF DECENT with a sword and she DID have a teacher. XD

Alex has never been exposed to the wilds beyond Besaid from what I understand. WHY is she never phased by ANYTHING? It's not like she's ever been on the sea, before, fighting a Kraken. When Alex SAW the damn thing she didn't even so much as bat an eye. Not to mention back when they got attacked in Besaid she was able to leap straight into action without even, well, caring. That is, in the case of surprise. XD

Why do you insist on making your character so seasoned when she's blatantly new to the world of Spira? You're telling me that if someone ran up to you with lightning crackling around you that you wouldn't flinch? That's not 'Being Fearless,' thats being boring. XD XD XD

If a selfish, temperamental, overly possessive, violent person who literally is the one who got her own friends into trouble because of said temper/ideals is perfect, I'd hate to see who's the most flawed xD (although I do always feel the exact same with Saina. She seems perfect which probably isn't true)

I do see your point but she did have teachers. She's trained both on her own and with Tidus and Wakka. Actually demanded training every time she could get a chance.

As for her confrontion with fiends, she is less afraid of them for unexplained reasons, and for they fact they usually don't attack her on her own. She's gotten too used to it. But she is terrified of the pyreflies and always retreats from them. That and Tonberry.

But she is not afraid of death. She faces that every time she goes to sleep. Which is probably why she won't hesitate to jump into battle. There's a reason for that as well. But she isn't phased by battle. She is phased by more emotional means. And Tonberry. And Pyreflies.

And it's not like she hasn't been on a boat or airship. It be weird if she hadn't as a blitz all player.

As with the Lightning user, it wasn't as if she wasn't exactly unafraid, but if she clinched then she'd lose her pride in what she believes is right. Which in this case, she really believes she does xD

That and if she was afraid of every lightning, fire, ice, she could hardly be around Nai. Or actually any single person in the group since they all have that advantage over her. Using magic. Every single one can do it and do lethal damage to her. (Well actually I dunno if Sifen has magic. But heck he has grenade launchers for the win xD).

What can Alex do? Use a sword, punch stuff sloppily and just relying on brute strength that is over the average of normal people, and run and dodge. Nai and Saina can both KO her if they land a good hit(she would have been out far longer than Nai was if Saina speared her with ice. Which lucky for Alex, hasn't happened). Gippal also (I think he knows black magic). Only reason she didn't run into a issue in both encounters is because she didn't run into a magic user. Like a flan. Flans screw her. .... No not like that you sick minded person xD

But perhaps I could of played her a little better xD maybe a bit more nervous with the captain since she used electricity but then again, doesn't seem there are too many people who don't know magic.

I did kind of want a little down time now they were out of town and she wasn't totally mad like she was on the boat, but maybe another time. (Cause this to isn't a so out of place event. Though bad luck it was the mayor's son xD)

Edit: Sifen is actually one of my favorites. He's quite flawed. There's a lot to complain about and I've given him shit and poked fun. But I find that good. He's almost adorable. Or klutzy adorkable. Weird xD

The Necromancer and Her Doomknight –[rivaan & Silver Fox]

Alex grinned brightly, stroking the red hare's nose and watched it snort before the man started to ready the horse with a saddle for riding. Looking to Naisha as a horse caught the vampire's eye, Alex chuckled a little in amusement before glancing to Naisha. "Mhmm course you choose the demonic one. Quite feisty too. Think you can take it eh? Alright we'll see how that goes." the red head teased as she poked the necromancer's cheek.

When the man returned with the readied red horse, Alex beamed as the horse nudged her in the back with its snout before turning its head toward the demonic horse. Neighing at it, hoofing the ground with its right leg. Alex watched as the man pushed a harness and saddle to her.

"You can ready that thing. Rather not get bitten or beaten to death." he grumbled, making Alex roll her eyes before looking at Naisha.

"So. Guess we can start the bonding sessions." she joked.

I'm not saying I didn't like it, I'm saying it out of concern. There are GM's who abuse their power to the point where they completely take over to the point that it might as well be them writing a fanfiction. Rping is cooperative. You created it, but every player makes the story.

It's a subject that is constantly argued over xD

GM vs. Players.

Just saying to not go over power play which I mean is when the GM takes over the character to the point to making them feel what the GM wants, do what the GM wants, all the time.

And Nai seemed already pretty beat up so I did worry you did go overboard with kicking a injured frail person to the point of KOing.

But I don't mind it as long as the players are alright with it. Which is why you should always ask the player. Even if it's through PM. Especially when it is something damaging.

Also, remember, Alex may be young but from day one she's been training. For both living in the jungle amongst friends and to train as a guardian. Socially, no she's gonna fail like she did here. But she's fully reactive. Emotionally and physically. Same with pretty much the rest of the friends. Actually all the characters have had to work over the years for fighting (other than Saina but we don't know her bio so can't vouch for her.) they just don't have experience in journeying (well Nai and Alex at least)But if you really don't like the hit then I'll edit it out.

Still interesting. But Alex will need a revive after this. It might just be a taser to some people, but Alex is very vulnerable to magic or elementals. She can take a physical beating no problem, but magic and elemental is different and by how that KO'd her WITH electricity, she isn't waking up until a raise or Phoenix Down. And she was already pretty beat up even with a potion.

And because of this and how others acted, her affinity may tilt the other way.
