Just woke up from my nap, and was the first thing that came to mind. The fucking Jump rope was the real enemy. Kuja was no threat to Gaia, it was fucking Jump Rope.

CHANGING PLOT GUYS!

Indeed.

That. Fucking. jumprope.

Jumprope: ohhh I'm speeding up, oh no I'm sloooowing down ohhh now I'm alternating between speeds oh now I'm randomly picking a speed!

*punts the jumprope*

I wish I liked every game I played. But I'm so jaded by the ones I end up disliking.
Like... I'm probably going trigger you and Silver here, but I'll at least give my reasoning.

FF7, I hated it not because of who dies, but the whole story behind Cloud and Seph. It felt so... Needlessly convoluted, a huge chase to a problem that mostly fixes it self in the end. It is even more agitating that people are bitching going "Make it turn based!" It never was! There was a fucking Action Time Bar, and even then some enemies ignore it when you're placing a command in, hell, FFX is the only real turn based one.

Though I did not hate FF8, it was kinda just there for me. It boiled down to "Who do I hate least?" Quistis and Curtis. Even Riona.
It was a "It is an interesting concept, but I can live without the Battle system. It was fine before." I at least appreciate it did try to blend fantasy with enough modern concepts. Like how you leave by train at the start, and at water based ships. It was nice because it felt realized to that end. But Scipher to me just felt like Gary Oak. Sure, he is meant to be annoying, and has plot reasoning. But he was just a throw away character to me.

The only problem I had with FF9, was slow combat. Aside from that it felt like a perfect game. The Minigames were not boring or broken. Even fun to a degree, which says a lot about it already.

TL;DR: I did not care for FF7, I can live without 8, but at least they got it right at 9.
I do however like the Guardian Force for FF8, it did partially inspire the Familiar system of this rp. And a weee Bit of SMT.

Thing was though, FF7 had the option to be turn base. Yes you had to wait for the action bar to fill, but you could still make it so the enemies don't attack until you make your move. Same with 8 or 9. As did most of the old ones. (Except when you had those event timers which happened in 7 to 10.) It was there. You could turn it on or off. And it helped at times when planning your next move on the bosses. 11 was more of the first ones you couldn't turn base. Was the plot odd in 7? Yeah. Did it make no sense sometimes? Yeah. Was it fun? Yeah.

Was all those little side things you could do that had no reason other than your enjoyment fun? Yeah. It's those what I love about Final Fantasy and just enjoy the story. And every one has a eye twitching flaw.

I don't particularly mind or not if you didn't like them, but won't stop me from my enjoyment. I'm more like Riv as barely anything makes me actually dislike a game. It's gotta be really poor for me NOT to enjoy something and have fun with it.

I honestly can't think of a game I truly dislike.

Also. In FF9. F those jumprope and play minigames. XD

No need to be so formal, we are all cool here, and only @Silver Fox bites. (Really only a nibble though.)

Insane characters are fine, so long as they pass gm inspection.

I'm still around, just life got busy while I was waiting for the person I was rping with to respond. Too bad everyone got busy xD
Trinity Stratos

Trinity stepped inside the ship behind the Karns, gazing at the blueprints Eddy found. She had been more interested in the engine room below that she hadn't noticed them before. Before she could make any comment, however, a voice spoke from within the ship. The minstrel snapped her attention away from the papers, hopping back just a little and preparing to conjure Energy Make, but she relaxes as she analyses the situation.

This person was not interested in her, or even the ship, from the sounds of it. So what was this about Karn being a miracle cure?

She was unsure of what to make out of the woman, watching her carefully. "What, did you follow us here, then? Hmn. Seems like everyone has fans these days..." This woman wanted to help Eddy get home... but for such a strange price?

Eddy seemed to consider it, but released the cat. The creature scampered away, out of the ship. Eddy looked back at her, and Trinity stepped toward her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "We can figure this out together, Eddy. You made the right choice."

A sweet smile turned to a stone gaze, as she gazed at the strange, thin woman. "You. Who are you and what's your game?"

The stranger simply grinned and shrugged a little. "Ain't it obvious honey? A little bird spoke of a little forbidden spell being activated. And it was being wasted. And it's something just about anyone would want to use for themselves. To bring the dead back to life. Course there is a good chance for it to fail, but hey, no skin off our backs of the sacrifice soul gets obliterated. After all, that's what you Phoenix's are basically doing. And from what I see, the soul chosen is better off dead." she mused, while Edo-Karn just narrowed her eyes a little.
Karn listened to the monkey-tail, ears twitching along with his tail as she heard footsteps. Sniffing the air and slightly parting her lips to taste the it, she had recognition so didn't budge from her spot. The job partner, Cassius soon entered along with two... Awkward looking 'guards' and the Princess. The Princess seemed shocked to see them, thinking they were in her room to steal something before trying to lunge at the smaller of the two blondes as if to land a punch. Karn didn't deny she was a thief, and they were here to steal something. Which was the Princess. Though even now materialistic things didn't hold her attention. They were only useful to get money in which she needed to build a airship. But she rather get that dream the more honest route. Not for much particular reason that made logical sense but hey it's a thing. Suppose she could take a few things as souvenirs, but she wanted to be light as possible. The mission was more important.

Karn's expression didn't change from the calm monotone as she stared at the Princess about to attack her. She could dodge, but didn't. Remaining stagnate and simply watching the 'package' move. Though she remained expressionless, her pupils went into slits like a cat, narrowing ever so slightly like a predator, cold and voidless of emotion. Ears slightly tilting to the sides while the golden tail bristled, fluffing up ever so slightly and curving up in a arch.

Cassius stopped her however and Karn just slowly blinked as her tail deflected and ears returned to the upright alertness, emerald gaze opening back to their regular non-spitted position as she examined the crew. A organ-eating fox, two sightseeing cats, a monkey tail, and a Princess. What a kidnap/escape team.

"You two can throw shit at each other later. We do not have time to go kitten around, time to mosey along." Karn said, smirking ever so slightly, seeming to just find the bickering minorly amusing, she moved quickly, yet her steps didn't make a sound. Appearing behind the crew and at the door, glancing down the halls as her ears perked as she listened. She thought about just going back the way she came but it was a difficult climb, she even had to use her claws. Be a bit more difficult with the others. Plus, they'd be more noticeable.

"There should be a secret exit in the jail. It'll take us back near the ship. Most of the guards should still be snoozing, but if we run into anyone, just pretend the ruffian bunch of us are new prisoners." she said before swiftly heading toward the destination. Ears perked and alert and sniffing the air.
Karn's fluffy ears perked a bit, twisting to follow the soft shuffle of sounds before her green eyes watched as a man dropped down. Taller then her by over a foot and had a furry monkey like tail. They shared the short dirty blonde hair and the emerald green eyes, honestly they probably looked like they could be siblings. Minus the fact he was taller then her, she had fangs sticking out of her upper lips, her eyes were more catlike and she had a set of ears to go along with the slightly more lusciously golden furred tail. Both of them were pretty lean and muscled instead of hulking masses of muscle compared to some of the dimwits in the Knights of Pluto, but monkey tail looked able to take a blow. He also smelled a little funny but maybe that was just his breed. Dunno, it put her off a little and made her ears twitched. She didn't particularly have time to think hard on it.

"Well ya but you know. A grand event needs to be purrfectly prepared. Can't make a monkey outta the show." Karn mused as she shrugged with a innocent smirk on her face before examining the Princess' quarters. Didn't seem the 'package' had been here for a little bit and was expectantly watching the show beside Queen Britch. The room smelled of sweet perfume and flowers, so much so that the feline was pretty sure she'd start getting a migraine if she inhaled too much. Cushy bed, fancy paintings and rug, typical materialistic rich bastard type of the noble class. It was royalty they were dealing with so she probably shouldn't think too much on it. What was minorly surprising was some weapons. Some were obviously just hanging up for decoration, but others she spotted could be used for actual combat. It was both odd and interesting. Maybe the little gemstone wasn't completely stereotypical like Princess Cornelia.

"Well now we just need to get the 'Package.' Did the others manage to get to the tea for a sleep potion?" The feline asked, flicking her gaze back to tonight's partner in crime.

"Fool! The Princess will marry the Prince and bring peace prosperity! Now to find Marcus!" Blank shouted as he kicked Cinna before quickly running off the stage.

Soon enough Marcus cloaked in a black hood approached a woman who wore a pretty white gown with pink trimmings, her silver crown placed on top of her head covered in a veil of silk. Ruby of course, played the Princess. "Marcus?" Cornelia questioned as she turned to look at the man cloaked in black. Soon enough giving a sigh of relief as he removed the hood to reveal his face. Her happy relieved glow soon diminishing into one of everlasting sorrow. "Sweet Marcus, I fear I love thee more than I should!" she cried mournfully.

Marcus frowned worriedly, hesitating for a moment before clasping her hands within his. "Princess... Wilt thou be happy, married to a lowly peasant such as I?" he questioned, small eyes brimming with hope.

The princess snatched her hands away from his, eyes slightly glaring with anger at her lover. As if he had just insulted her. "Prithee, call me 'princess' no more! Marcus, wilt thou truly cherish me, the king's only daughter? Or is such a desire too dear to wish for!? After our nuptials, shall I become no more than a puppet? A mindless puppet, never to laugh, never to cry? I wish to live my life under the sky. At times I shall laugh, at other times cry. For no life is more insincere than that lived as a masquerade." she shouted, waving her arms dramatically with her words in a attempt to emphasize their meaning

The poor peasant soon smiled, body emitting just sheer amounts of love and adoration. "So much consideration thou hast given it! But worry not!" he chirped before quickly embracing her in his strong muscular arms. "Cast away thy trappings of royalty, and I shall swaddle thee in a gown of pure love! Never again will I part from thee! Pray, my love, make me thy canary to keep forever in the cage of thy bosom! Let us embark on the first ship tomorrow, before dawn can tell of our elopement!" he implored, raising his hand toward the sea that would be their escape.

Cornelia nodded as she lovingly wrapped her arms around the poor man's neck. "All my fortunes at thy foot, I lay, and I shall follow thee throughout the world!" she said joyfully.

"No cloud, no squall shall hinder us! Until the morrow my love." Marcus said, lovingly caressing Cornelia's cheek before taking his leave and disappearing off the stage.

The princess gave a loving smile, hands clasped together over her heart. "O, love is the sweetest joy and the wildest woe. All I wish is to be by my sweet Marcus's side." she hummed in a wimsy sing songy voice of that of someone completely drunk on love.

On the side of the stage, Blank was knelt and peaking over to get a look at the couple, obviously eavesdropping on them. "Fie! It shall be war again unless this marriage is stopped. Ne'er will I let their plan come to fruition." he growled determinedly before getting up and walking on stage and headed straight toward the Princess. His movements precise and smooth, almost predatory. "Good day to ye, Highness." his words spilled from his mouth calmly, like a snake trying to be charming while venom leaked from its fangs.

"Good day..." Princess Cornelia said, a bit put off by Blank's intrusion and snapping her out of her heart fluttering over love.

"Wist thee of Marcus?" Blank asked, despite already fully knowing, while he halted before her.

Surprised and forgetting the omnious situation, Cornelia's eyes snapped open and went up to Blank. Hands pressing against the broad muscular shoulders. "Marcus!? What news dost thou bring?" she questioned urgently.

Eyes narrowing, the spikey haired man wrapped his left arm around her waist. "This!" he hissed before drawing his right arm back and quickly slamming his fist into her stomach. She gasped out before slumping over, allowing Blank to easily pick her up and throw her over his shoulder and quickly carry her off stage and ending the scene.
