Listen to the younger girl chatter, Tora watched her with interest. It was a bit to get used to someone referring her a little informally compared back at home, but that was good. Meant she could blend in a little. Plus... The tall woman couldn't think of a time she ever spoken with someone who wasn't connected to the family or some rich business family that her parents wanted her to formally socialize with. Yes, this may be the first time speaking to a regular happy person. It was a little exciting. "Yeah, my Grandparents run a farm. I've learned a bit about taking care of Pokemon from them. So I also will attempt to continue the skills they taught me." she spoke with a smile before nodding a little at the mention of the Helping Hand Organization.
"Coincidentally, I was also thinking of the Helping Hand Organization. I'm not really one for battling. I rather be a Pokemon Breeder then the regular Trainer. Helping instead of fighting." Tora spoke before watching Juana kneel down in front of Archie, who's nose slightly twitched as the orange furred pokemon sniffed the unfamiliar trainer.
"Yeah she likes pets. Archie just likes acting tough at first towards strangers. She's a sweetheart otherwise. It's funny, another coincidence, I've also known Archie here for a long time. I just asked her if she wanted to come on this journey with me, and she seemed happy to." The black haired woman chuckled, her Growlithe snorting in response in a 'oh whatever' matter before gingerly wagging her fluffy tail at Juana and giving a bark. The fire pokemon pressed her head against a hand, demanding said promised pets.
Tora smiled before looking at Juana thoughtfully. It probably wouldn't hurt to ask this fine young lady to walk to the Organizations together. Since they were apparently going to the same way. "Say, Mademoiselle Perez, would you like to accompany us to Organization HQ's? Since we will be traveling the same direction?" Tora asked, softly. Her voice crystal and elegant. Poised and trained to be clear yet ever so polite. Though, she found it quite cute when Juana seemed to shuffle when she spoke. Perhaps trying to have a clear voice and avoid giving away a distinct dialect. Though Tora wouldn't mind it. It would be a breath of fresh air really.
Tora smiled cheerfully as she walked beside Archie, who was flicking her eyes all about, watching for any possible signs of something interesting or dangerous. Gingerly adjusting so she could slip on the black sweatshirt hoodie, she allowed the hood to slide off for now. The sun wasn't too hot and she shouldn't have to worry about being looked for just yet. It was just so exciting! She befriended her first Pokemon for her journey, granted it was one she already knew but still. They were in it together through thick or thin. First, she'd join the Helping Hand Organization then move on to the next town. Good thing she has a map with her. With Archie's help, they shouldn't get lost at least.
Hearing Archie give a soft growl, Tora paused her step as she saw a girl approach her, giving a friendly wave in greeting. The fire type bounced in front of her trainer to stand in between the two trainers. Fur puffing and bristling and giving a deep growl. Barking and looking at the stranger and the Grass Type Pokemon.
"Archie it is quite alright. Calm down." Tora said sweetly with a smile. Her dog like Pokemon glanced back at her before looking at the two, nose twitching as she sniffed in examination before obiediently moving to sit beside Tora's feet.
Turning to look at the girl, Tora gave a friendly smile, blinking a little as she took a moment to process the 'joke' before giving a soft chuckle. Why, thank you. You're Bounsweet looks quite 'sweet' as well." the tall woman spoke with a amused smile before giving a slight curtsy motion.
"Salutations fair Mademoiselle. It is a pleasure to meet with another trainer. My name is... Tora. I am also just starting, was just going to make a quick stop to a Organization before moving on." Tora spoke as she introduced herself before pausing as she took a moment on how to answer if she lived here.
"Mhmm not really, I just came to visit my Grandparents who live in the farm part of Central City. They surprised me with a Pokedex and a Pokeball. What about you? Do your heir from this lovely city?" Tora asked curiously.
The air was clean and easy to breathe as a tall woman sat comfortably in her seat beside the window in the back right of the white shiny limousine. Sparkling brilliantly with the sunlight as they traveled through the farmland portion of Central City. The bustling of the city fading a bit to be replaced by the gentle breeze and chirps of the bird Pokemon. She could see a few Rattata and Bidoof's running about and playing in the fields. Some Oddish and Bellsprout happily in the sunshine. Today was another trip to her grandparent's farm since her parents are once again too busy to deal much with her. Since they found a proper suitor, they wished her to be in the best condition, so she was visiting a little early. In order to relax and be properly healthy during the meeting arrangement.
The woman with her long black hair gingerly shifting at the wind fluttering in from the window, ocean blue eyes slightly glazed over in thought as she absently stared outside at the green fields, pale skin slightly illuminating from the sunshine that managed to touch it, and her lips curved in a slight frown, gave a soft sigh. Although she was happy to return to this beloved place, the reason behind it didn't particularly bring joy into her heart. It was tiring, going day by day at the whim of her parents will. Greeting people she didn't know with such politeness that kept one thinking of sheer poise, but kept them at a arms length. Spending a lifetime as a pretty delicate doll. The obedient daughter. Although she had never had to lift a finger for much of anything, she still felt tired.
Eyes flickering to a young boy walking about with a Pokemon, Lillipup, perhaps about to start on his journey. Another sigh escaped the young woman's lips. The high-class raised woman named Tora couldn't help but wonder what it would have been like if she was born normally. Regular parents, normal lifestyle, start off on a Pokemon Journey at a young age like many youth do... She was envious of such freedom. Of course, she loved her parents dearly, they just wanted what was best for her. Perhaps they are right in saying that her body couldn't handle a journey.... but wasn't what she wanted mattered?
Snapping out of her thoughts as the limousine slowed to a stop in front of small little farm, beautiful and relaxing. Tora took a deep breath as the driver stepped out, walking around and opening the door for the young woman. The man wore the standard wear for a butler, he was a older gentleman with sleek grey hair and a neatly groomed gray mustache. Bowing respectfully, the man gave a slight kind smile, as he glanced at her before closing his eyes to avoid looking directly at her.
"We have arrived Mademoiselle Azure." The old butler said in a soft if slightly gruff voice, holding out a hand to help her exit the vehicle. While his other hand held a light blue umbrella to help shield her from the sun.
"You have my deepest gratitude, Ser Jarvis. I look foreword in our next interaction." Tora responded with a kind smile as she accepted his hand and slipped out of the vehicle. Wearing a pretty Spinarak spun silk white sundress. White gloves cover her hands up all the way to her elbows. A light brown sunhat on top of her head with a blue ribbon. Wearing light blue heels that she had to take a moment to regain her balance, soon though she was waving farewell to her butler before jerking up as she saw a elderly couple walk toward her. With a bright smile, Tora quickly moved toward them with her arms outstretched.
"Mama! Papa! It is such a delight to see you once more! I have missed you so!" Tora exclaimed cheerily as she embraced them both. They chuckled and returned the embrace to their granddaughter.
Papa laughed and patted her back, a sly grin upon his older face. "Awe yes, and we've missed you too. But, I'm sure you won't stick around these ol' folks for too long. We've got a present for you." he hummed, chuckling as Mama lightly elbowed him playfully as he seemed to be a bit too gleeful at Tora's confused expression.
"What do you mean Papa?" Tora asked curiously.
With a smile to one another, the elderly couple revealed some items behind their sleeves. Her grandmother pulled out a set of clothes, much less classy and pretty compared to her sundress. Consisting of a backpack tank top, a pair of jeans, boots, a hoodie and a pair of black gloves. While her grandfather had a bluish pokedex and a pokeball held out to her. It took a moment for Tora to recognize this, her eyes blinking curiously before slowly widening in pure shock turning into joy.
".....You're giving me this? For my Pokemon Journey?" Tora whispered in shock, but couldn't help a smile of sheer happiness at the mere glimmer of hope of this possibility.
Papa nodded and gave a soft kind smile. "Yes... We know for such a long time, you dreamed on traveling on your own journey. You're plenty old enough now and you should be able to make your own decisions. We don't wish to stop you from that. Of course, you do not have to do this, we are just letting you have the option. We only wish you to be happy with whatever choice you make. Of course... we'll keep this a secret from your parents. For as long as we can at least." he chuckled.
"Just be safe." Mama added with a smile.
Tora blinked a little more before smiling brightly, sudden life filling her blue eyes as her hands reached and took the items. "You have my deepest thanks! Mama, Papa... My apologies... But I'd like to start as soon as possible!" she said excitedly but her grandparents just laughed.
"No worries dearie!" Mama said with a smile.
"Which Pokemon are you going to catch? Perhaps you should start with a Ponyta or a Stantler?" Papa asked.
With a smile, Tora shook her head. "Thank you, but I already have the perfect Pokemon in mind." she answered.
After getting changed into her clothes, packing her backpack, getting some pokefood recipes from her grandmother and getting the supplies she needed together, she bid her grandparents farewell before heading out into the fields. Raising a hand, she called out to the one and only friend she always enjoyed visiting here.
"Archie!" Tora called, and almost instantly, a ball of reddish orange and gold fluff barreled out of the tunnel and charged right toward the tall woman. A Growlithe cheerfully nuzzled against Tora's legs and barked happily at her.
Chuckling Tora knelt down and stroked Archie's head, running her slender fingers through the light colored fluff that rested on top of the Growlithe's head. "Hello my friend. I am glad to see you are doing well.. I have something to ask you.... Today... I'm finally going on my Pokemon Journey. My Mama and Papa decided to surprise me with a pokedex and pokeball. It's exciting... it won't be easy I know... But I'm eager to start. Do something for me. I wanted to ask, if you wanted to come with me? You don't have to of course Archie, but... if I was going to start my journey with anyone, it would be with you." she said softly, slight worry bubbling in her chest as she pulled out her one single pokeball from her pocket.
Archie however was quick to make a decision as she lept up to press her paws against the new trainer's shoulders and pressed her nose against the red and white orb. Soon, turning into light and getting sucked into the tiny ball. It barely moved before dinging to signify a successful capture. Taking out her Pokedex as it buzzed, the tall woman flipped it open to listen to it chatter on her capture.
"Growlithe, the Puppy Pokemon. It has a brave and trustworthy nature, loyal to its trainer. It fearlessly stands up to bigger and stronger foes by biting or barking. Nature: Adamant. Ability: Intimidate." Tora couldn't help but chuckle as she stood up and let Archie back out.
"You always make quick decisions... alright, thank you Archie. Come on. I don't want to stay in Central City too long. It won't take Mother and Father too long to discover me missing. But I want to join up with the Helping Hand Guild before starting our travels. Let's go!" she cheered, earning a eager bark from Archie as the Pokemon ran around her legs as they headed back to the heart of Central City.

Tora starts her Journey! Tora Catches a Growlithe!
@Dusksongyeah I was kidding. I mean we probably have over 800 Pokémon now including UBs and Alola Forms and I'm probably not going to be able to keep track of that :P
@Silver Fox just one bag. full of. nothing but toothbrushes.
@silver fox Nope. Just stuff bought with trainer points, nothing else. Feel free to carry as many toothbrushes and miscellaneous items as your heart desires. I believe Balth just discounted them all automatically :)
Alrighty then just making sure.
A Pokemon breeder gonna need to bring a bit of supplies
@silver fox they're all viable options. Nothing's specified anywhere, so feel free to do any :)
Awesome then ^^ probably will get close to the building then use the pokedex to sign up. Tora doesn't really want to be in Central City too long(cause she's basically on the run). But she isn't a fighter either so the helping hand Organization would help out xD
@silver fox well, logically, I'd doubt that they joined a trainer organization before they even caught their first Pokemon. Plus, why not just RP them joining? Its a fast process that tou can finish either in the entirety of a post or just a single sentence or two depending on how you do it.
Mostly just state that the character is joining an organization in-character and tag the person who owns the organization.
Did that make sense?
Yup I kinda figured. So in order to join, does one walk to headquarters and fill out a form, or something with their pokedex or talk with a receptionist?
