As they pulled into road running down towards the docks, passing straight through the cluster of warehouses including their target Patch quickly tapped his radio, opening a link back to Archangel @Jangel13, "Did you catch that, Angelo? Can you get us any info on the ventilations ducts at all? Points of entry from the outside of the building and any access they might offer inside too would be useful."

The warehouse was just ahead now and Patch pulled the car around the side of it before continuing on and parking up on the far side of the neighbouring building. They were out of sight of any guards but Patch was still a little concerned about any cameras there might be and whether they could see better in the dark than he could. "Anything you have on the surveillance system would be a bonus as well," he quickly added to his message to Archangel. He knew that might be a little trickier to dig up though, since companies generally had the right to fit any security devices they liked within their own facilities, while the ventilation system would usually have required planning permissions to be filed with the local council.

@RomanAria Shutting off the engine Patch turned in his seat to look back at Owl. Reaching back he gently took hold of her hand with his, stroking his fingers softly over hers to help keep the fragile young girl calm. "You okay with this, Elissa? Ready to go?" He asked, keeping his voice low and level so as not to upset her too much. He didn't want to give her any medication if he could help it, but sometimes all that was needed was to know there were others around who cared for you.
There's some nice control panels there which could be inspected. Perhaps someone could convince Hundred to let them use her auxiliary power supply port to get them up and running again. That or taking a look at the sealed storage compartments with the unpowered electronic locks on them.

Not to mention the large doors back in the hallway, at the far end away from the hangar, or even the Head, which is just next door. Perhaps someone left their wallet in there for some thief to just come along and pick up?
@Aphelion Since she stole it from Mass Effect 2 she can't really complain about other people using it too.

I kinda had the same idea about not setting a strict form for myself until we're actually in the game, but in my case I got lazy and didn't bother giving Chuck any outfits. :)
Are Force powers limited by alignment at all, or weaker if used by a Force user of the opposing alignment? The best examples I can think of off the top of my head are Force Lightning and Heal, which are often associated with Dark and Light side respectively.
With a heartworn sigh Geoff reached once more for his stave, waving it at the hole near the bard's feet and causing the wooden planks to grow and reform back as they had been before the pixie blood had done away with them. It looks like it was going to be another one of those nights, the ones where the entire tavern would've been reduced to rubble if if hadn't been for his magical abilities keep the place together.

Even as he pondered the problem Geoff's eye caught sight of the bright glow coming from out in the yard. Leaping up over the bar, scattering several mugs across the floor as he went, Geoff ran for the yard, only to be faced with a raging inferno already doing its best to eat the stables and all the horses inside whole as the frightened beast screamed in terror from within their stalls. Moving swiftly over to a wooden pedestal set near the front gates Geoff took hold of a large crystal hanging beside a sign stating:
In Case Of Fire, Break Crystal.
Only In Case Of Fire, At No Other Time.
Honest, Only In Case Of Fire.
We Really REALLY Means This!

Moving as close to the blaze as he'd dare Geoff lifted the crystal as high as he could and threw it down onto the cobblestones, his face twisting in fear as he watched the fragile stone smash apart, shattering into thousands of piece.

A moment later the crystal fragments seemed to melt, puddling together before rising up to take on the form of a large pair of breasts. Geoff rubbed his eyes hard with his fingers, this was the reason he hated having to deal with Her, even if Her services were invaluable at times like these. By the time he looked back the woman's body had fully formed as She stood hovering in front of the half-troll with a broad smile on Her face.

"Mmm, called me out to play, have you, my Love..?" The spirit purred, her voice as thick as sin and just as deadly. As the words bubbled out between her lips the spirit ran its hands over its body, tempting Geoff to follow them down to a place he knew would cause nothing but trouble.

"We don't have time to play Nerys," Geoff said, trying to keep his voice from wavering as he gestured towards the blazing inferno inching its way towards the tavern full of customers. "Do something about that, quickly!" He barked, trying to draw the nymph's gaze away from his staff. They both knew what she wanted from him, and Geoff had to make sure he got the tricky sprite to do her duty before she got too out of hand.

Turning around Nerys leaned forwards as if examining the raging flames, while at the same time lifting her well-shaped ass just high enough to tease Geoff with a clear view of her bubbly goodness. "Such a paltry thing..." She sighed with disappointment, "And here I was hoping for a little more fun..."

With that the spirit dove into the flames, her body expanding outwards as a crashing wave, covering the yard, the stables and all around them with an unstoppable torrent of water which smothered every last flame. When she was done Nerys pulled her body back together, her figure now several storeys high, towering over the Drum in a magnificent display of her femininity. Geoff had to act fast and spinning his stave in his hand he fired off a bolt of pure green energy which struck Nerys... well, let's just say she enjoyed feeling it where it struck and leave it at that, shall we?

As she threw back her head, giving out an exploding cry of orgasmic pleasure Nerys's body began to wither and coalesce, shrinking down and hardening until finally collapsing back into a crystal almost identical to the one Geoff had smashed apart only moments before. "... until next time... Lover..." came her last words, whispered on the wind as Geoff moved to place the stone back on the pedestal, ready for the next time some damn fool magic user coughed in the wrong place, or whatever the hell had happened to start the blaze in the first place.

Storming back towards the Drum Geoff entered the bar with the same rage and fury he'd used to storm the gates of Nezgaroth, a city he'd razed with his own bare hands. "Right..." He bellowed, his voice shaking the ceiling timbers, "Which one of you damn sodding fools set fire to my yard!?!"
Not to nit pick, but this isn't set then. Most Force Users are scooped up pretty quickly during this time period.

Sorry, was talking slightly off-topic there about a different roleplay I was running, just to show how both morality and Force powers can be used in different settings.

While I understand the appeal of wartime settings, due to the high levels of conflict and opportunities for morally challenging situations to be encountered you can have just as much of an engaging narrative when the only repercussions to your actions are on a personal level, rather than a galaxy-changing levels.

The thing with powers like precognition is not something the player alone controls... Use beyond what everyone has, is something the GMs will direct.

The problem with precog, time travel and other powers which allow characters to predict or alter the flow of events is that players can get bogged down trying to decide whether they should try and take actions to change the outcome they've seen, or whether any action they take will ensure the predicted outcome. In the end it can easily end up with the entire party standing in a corridor debating whether to press a button or not because someone had a precog flash of the ship blowing at at some point in the future and this might be that point and no-one ends up doing anything at all.

And don't get me started on the whole Predestination Paradox problem. XD

My biggest concern though is that precog flashes can end up as a bit of cheap deus ex machina to help push the story in the right direction when people can't think of a way out of a situation for themselves.
Since this is @Fallenreaper's RP I'll go with the GM decision as to what characters are allowed. If anyone would like to play a Star Wars themed roleplay not focussed around Force user characters then we could always start up another thread with a similar backstory and call it a spin-off. :)
You can always take a longer lunch breaks. I once worked at a company where a director called at 9:30 to say he would be going straight to a business lunch that day, never came into the office and then put in a claim for three hours of overtime. That must've been one hell of a lunch!
@Genni That's quite a selection of outfits your avatar has. Perhaps you should annex a neighbouring country to use it as a wardrobe?
@TheUnknowable Either someone deliberately set-up the systems in such a way as to act as a booby trap, or one of the maintenance droids went berserk and rewired the entire ship, cross connecting all the systems.

The latter option might explain why half of the corridors were painted gunmetal grey while the others were ocean gray. :D
