My Very Brief Bio

Male, 33 years old. (I'm even more dead than before.)

Likes (other than writing and roleplaying): I'm into all genres of music. I love to cook. I love the outdoors, and walking through the park near my house. (Yes, really.) I read a lot of thriller/mystery novels. And I usually watch seasonal anime. (Or cooking shows. Because Western Media provides even fewer things that are worth watching.)

But as for my many other neglected hobbies, I've played basically every sport. (Soccer and Bowling being my favorite of the bunch.) And I'm trying to play more video games. (Going through my never-ending Steam library.) Plus, I've dabbled in making electronic & metal music, and I used to play a number of instruments. (Guitar, French Horn, etc.)

My 1X1 Interest Check: SleepingSilence's Tavern (Want 1x1 RP's? Please come in.)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Shawn looked around inside wandering in seeing a rather significantly long line for a ticket stand. As the women behind the counter speaking in a cheery voice trying to sell tickets for the magic show, Shawn nervously rubbed the back of his head as he still wasn't quite used to being around so many people as it was getting to him a little as much as he pretending he didn't, outwardly smiling. Soul was looking around and back at him noticing subtle behaviors he did when he was uncomfortable, though she was also intensely looking at anyone getting to close. Blade put his claw on shoulder with a beaming smile trying to make Shawn feel better, and it helped a little. Shawn gave his Scizor a nod, knowing he could buy a ticket. No problem, as he walked in the line and waited patiently as Blade pat Soul's head, her reaction was less thankful, shooting him a glare. Shawn pet his Espeon's head gently relaxing her nerves.

The line was at least moving fairly quickly, as he was halfway through. Which made him a little extra excited to see it, since so many where coming it must be good at least that's what he figured. As Blade was smiling, off in a corner of the room with a couple young girls giggling as they were playing patty cake with him. Shawn sometimes wished he had his sociability with others. And Soul hadn't growled at anyone so it was at least going smoothly in his mind. Though suddenly Melody appeared out of her pokeball on top of his shoulders holding onto him. “Melody...what's wrong dear?” He asked her concerned looking up at her seeing her hide her face a bit being surprised how many people were around her as she suddenly got startled. <”Can we go play?”> Melody whined. As Shawn thought momentarily for a solution. He reached in his pocket and released August as he looked around then at him confused. He picked up Melody and set her down on his back, as she grabbed him quickly to keep her balance. “You two go outside the city and play, alright? Keep each other close. I'll come and get you two in a little while.” Shawn talks to them both in a maternal tone. Melody reluctantly nodded with a small smile, as August nodded and letting out a short exhale of relief and slight frustration that he would have to babysit. “<Better than being constrained inside that ball.”> He commented as he swiftly left outside the building as Melody held on to his back anxiously.

<”Was that the best idea?”> Soul questioned looking up at Shawn expressing concern. Head tilting slightly to the right as she tried to remember any time those two were left alone with each other. Shawn looking down at Soul giving him the stare she gave when he made decisions she didn't approve of. As he rubbed the back of his neck uncertain but not as worried. “Don't worry, they'll be fine.” Shawn replied as he continued to move in line deciding it would be better for both of them to be outside their pokeballs knowing how much August especially loathed them, being always outside on his grandfather's ranch for the majority of his life. Besides what's the worse thing that could happen is what he was going to say aloud but he knew exactly how she'd respond to that statement. “I hope they're going to be alright at least.” Shawn thought to himself.

Meanwhile Melody was giggling as August left the city still on his back, enjoying the ride. August wasn't enjoying it as much, but it was being better than being in the city full of humans as he dashed around, seeing that she was enjoying him going faster as he roamed not exactly caring what direction he went knowing he could easily find his way back to the city on the smell alone, going up to a pokecenter on the top of the hill where he saw several female trainers talking to one another. She hopped on his back, as she started to run around playfully, He looked up at the cloudy sky knowing it was going to rain heavily, staring at the several trainers rubbing his nose some. <”Why do all humans stink so awfully...”>
@ClocktowerEchos To be fair, I did mention that he didn't understand what he said and vise versa. Because I figured they spoke different languages like the show.
Also just because I'm used to it. '<>' I usually use it for pokemon language, what's suppose to be understood by pokemon only. Because I find it more interesting then them saying their names. Hopefully that's fine, just wanted to explain that. xP
Cpl. Donovan “The Friendly” Valentine

Before his questions could be answered, he could hear footsteps coming closer behind them upon his quick reflects turning around even before someone tapped on his shoulder. Taking back his head like Donovan would of bite it off. Donovan certainly didn't mind if others utterly feared greatly respected him. “Uh, are we returning back to Cpt. Saiyako or are we awaiting specific orders?” The solider asked him. He already knew even if anyone was still in a battle the captain was capable enough to take care of themselves, but even for ones he had less confidence in, he found the enemy force rather pathetic and primitive. But on the other hand maybe he'd be able to do a little exploration on his own something he'd been meaning to do for a while now. “Just gather everyone you can to return back, I'll scout up ahead for reconnaissance, Digit can come with me if he's so inclined. The rest of you go, no need to tell the captain about it. Got it?” Donovan explained and even though through a mask the solider couldn't see his exact face, he fully understood the tone of how serious the part about refraining from speaking about it was, nodding his head.

As he carefully observed everyone leaving as quickly run into the forest where the monsters came from, making sure no one else saw him going there. Perhaps overconfident but he was hundred percent sure no one was scrupulous as he was. As he looked around through the forest smelling unfamiliar scents and looking at different foliage, not touching anything as he didn't know if anything was poisonous but all of was a beautiful sight, letting out a yawn as it couldn't be any more uninteresting. He turned his head hearing a twig snapping wondering if one of his soldiers decided to follow him but he saw something pass by differently not a solider, but a regular looking man wearing some medieval like clothing. Running away from him, immediately Donovan pursued him, keeping track of him easily even with his unfamiliarity of the woods he was in, almost tripping over on some thick vines in his path but keeping steady and reaching out and grabbing his wrist tightly.

“H-h-hey le-let m-me go!” The man stuttered clearly scared as he not so gently pinned him up against one of the trees. The man's speech was slightly off as he couldn't quite tell what the man was saying. “Were you spying on my men? Where do you live?” He stated coldly as he started to pat him down for possible weapons as the man shook some fearfully. The man who also couldn't understand and would be too afraid to talk even if he could just tried to squirm out of his grasp failing to budge as he pulled out his M3P-4 and pointed it to the man's forehead. His silence was making him grow impatient as he immediately figured the man was useless and it was better not taking any chances and executing him right here.

Suddenly another younger man, came out from behind several bushes with a hunting knife in his hand shouting some words. Donovan didn't even hesitate for a second, aiming his gun that the younger man and shooting him into his calf muscle. Making him scream and fall down into the ground. As the man looked crying out tears in his eyes. “S-son! Are you-” before he smacked him hard in the back of the head with his end of his handgun, knocking him on the ground, slumping against the tree. The son clutched his leg as it was bleeding, starting to yell angrily at him. He stood looking at them both.

He was pondering for a moment whether to just leave them both as is and return to the others. It's clear they didn't speak English and he couldn't take them both as prisoners, he probably would get chewed out doing this in the first place. But if they were spies, did he really want them both to get away relatively unscathed. He walked up to the son struggling to get up to his father, pulling himself with his hands crawling on the dirt floor stepping on his back and holding him down. Pointing the gun at his head, pulling the trigger letting out a bang as the son stopped moving, blood pooling from under his head. Quickly proceeding to walk up to the unconscious man. “Don't take in personally, it's just my duty to protect my team, hope you can understand.” He says in a mocking tone, pressing it up right to the back of his head, pulling the trigger again.

Breathing in and breathing out for a moment to relax himself. With that task handled, he knew it would be best to hide both the bodies. As he took the son and the father over both of his shoulders being careful not to get blood on his combat suit his parents gave him, not wanting to disrespect them by getting it dirty already. Throwing them in the thick bushes, seeing a nearby dead dear with its neck cut open, as he was relieved that it appeared as though they were merely hunting for food and not soldiers in an army or spies of some kind. He was alleviated of some concern, because if they were important individuals they'd be more likely to be searched for, but mere peasants or common folk figuring by how they were dressed. He assumed they would more likely and hopefully be forgotten. Deciding it would be best to head back before anyone start asking questions. Despising people asking questions, he also didn't want any more marks on his record. He left the bodies behind, and swiftly exited the forest. "Eh, not worth mentioning this to anyone. I may have to account for the missing bullets...but I can come up with something reasonable I'm sure, besides what the captain doesn't know won't kill him..."

Xavier

Vertigo City

Greed snickered in his head quite amused at the trainers' reaction. With a playful and self satisfied grin across his face. As he looked at the other trainer nearby, that he was speaking to, floating over and tapped the blonde kid on the opposite side where he wasn't looking. Considering they both looked old enough to be young adults, Greed figured Xavier wouldn't have any issues with his shenanigans with these two. Though he was enjoying himself and he certainly didn't want to stop, having his own confirmation bias because unlike Xavier he's desire to prank was nearly compulsive, a sort of addiction he needed to fill up the melancholy state he had from boredom he felt.

<“Hmm...how else can I play with them?”> Greed thought just pondering what else he could do without getting caught. Quickly getting another idea, Greed took and held up the blonde's trainers goggles and floated upwards keeping them slightly out of his reach above his head in the air. Making sure that he would move just enough so the trainer couldn't jump to get them either, being quite entertained.

Meanwhile, Xavier was still looking around in the museum. Reading a story about how the royal skies used to have a gambling factory here disguised as a local business. A long time ago that had an underground market, and even let children use slot machines betting real money. Before the local law enforcement and its pokemon put a stop to their deviant criminal acts. He was getting a little fatigued after time had passed, letting out a quiet yawn. He stopped and ducked, hiding himself on instinct despite the fact he was aloud to be in the facility, he was used to sneaking in places and getting caught.

“Was that someone else?” He thought in his head hearing some grumbling and footsteps coming closer. He peeked in the corner looking at the stranger, he could immediately tell this individual was sketchy. They say it took one to know one, but Xavier was always good at recognizing malevolence. “Go Hypno” The stranger said releasing a Hypno, right in front of a large glass display that held several things. Xavier observed remaining as quiet as he could be. “What is he up too?” Xavier questioned. As the Hypno started to glow as the items for the glass started to glow as well then suddenly disappearing. The stranger held up an open brown sack as the various items inside the case appeared into the sack.

He knew that man was stealing, he reached in his pockets realizing his pokeballs were back at the inn. Cursing in his head, he didn't know what he could do really wishing Greed had stuck by him now. The stranger let loud a chuckle. “Show's that you should never mess with the Royal Skies.” He bragged aloud. Xavier was upset clenching his fist hastily blurting out. “You can't just take those!” The stranger and it's Hypno turned to look right in Xavier's direction as he instantly knew he screwed up and he was in hot water.
@ClocktowerEchosWell I wouldn't take anyone with me, and I'd deny it and probably make shit up for self defense. Can't get punished if no one knows about it right? :P
@KatherinWinter Actually question regarding that, I was considering sort of -eventually- giving my Jafar's son character. Able to use magic scrolls to do one time things, mostly to screw with Leo. Since I think they're going to have a little bit of a rivalry going on. Do you mind if we learn more abilities over time? :P

Because, in a fight, Leo's ability can make him kind of a cheating bastard. XD My rivalry is quite one sided fight at the moment. :P
@KatherinWinter Yep. Haha.
@ClocktowerEchos That be nice. :P I was considering going into the forest finding some stranger in the woods and being aggressive as hell in gathering information, and killing him or torturing him, cuz you know. My guys a little bunny rabbit. I'll work on something. It doesn't help how late I woke up today. Its almost 4:30 and I haven't even eaten yet. haha.
