Paple had been one of the first to sign up for operation Leviathan. What better way to prove yourself than on a top secret, off the books operation that was being dubbed a suicide mission before the team had even been formed? He'd figured he'd be the youngest operative there, but what he did not expect was that the team would include Saiyans. That was something you'd probably mention to the Tuffle before you were about to leave base, wasn't it? Paple couldn't help but wonder whether or not those in question were as acutely aware of Paple's ancestry as he was of their's. The tail was usually a dead giveaway, after all.

Paple'd spent his time alone in the lavatories after the commander's speech doing a bit of analytic thinking. Twelve operatives divided into two squads meant six people per squad, and Paple had a lingering suspicion he'd have the unfortunate luck to be paired with at least one Saiyan. Maybe it'd be best not to put his being a Tuffle out in the open. Ignorance was bliss, right? Paple sighed to himself as he removed his standard ISF gear and placed it into his individually marked container. He'd just gotten that uniform, badge, and blaster too.

The Tuffle emerged from the bathroom garbed in a simple black T-shirt and gray sweatpants, with a pair of red sneakers covering his feet. He fiddled with the strings on the front of his pants to make sure they were tight enough for his diminutive frame before trying them in a knot and stuffing his hands into his pockets. He could only guess he was one of the first to emerge from the changing rooms, since all he saw was Commander Sarada himself with a pair of his new-found teammates surrounding him, one of which, of course, was a Saiyan. Paple simply took a place next to the group with a simple nod, trying not to notice just how huge the Saiyan in front of him was.
Did anybody ask for a Herglic demolitions expert?

If not there's always the war torn Zabrak who doesn't know what to do with his life anymore.

Note to self: Madclaw-turned-Mandalorian. Every squad needs a Wookiee, right?

So many possibilities.
@Mugin You still trying to decide between Wood Release and Aburame? Because I'd like to throw together a Wood Release ninja. If not I'd be down for a support-type ninja or summin'

EDIT: I'm blind.

Make a ninja chef.

That in no way was a reference to Soma.

Dont hate~

Not hating. But don't blame me if I start referring to her as Rukia.
Shinigami. Really? I mean, I know my codename of Yurei isn't exactly better but jeez. xD
I'll be sure to gradually fill this in over the course of the next couple of days

"Yes this is Triple Nine. I hear Vader is looking to fill the 501st full of clones. I believe I qualify."

Godspeed, Trips. Godspeed.

Good luck when Luke blows up the Death Star. Maybe you'll get lucky and be in Vader's TIE Fighter Squadron.
I'm assuming Chigetsu is the name of your character?

It is, assuming I don't go for something else entirely. Don't want to ruin the fun for others with my own nuances.

I'm assuming Chigetsu is the name of your character? In any case, he'd probably be chastised for stirring up conflicts in the ANBU XD

Hmm. Stir up conflicts within black ops organizations and potentially launch a cold to not-so-cold war or reclaim a national treasure assuming the guy doesn't have some sort of "don't fuck with that guy" order from the Mizukage. I think I'm willing to risk it!
Could I play as a former rogue shinobi from Kirigakure? I was thinking of a swordsman who's one of the 7 swordsmen of the mist.

Man that'd be awkward if Kirigakure ever found out Konoha was sheltering one of their rogue ninja with one of their national treasures within their black ops organization. Might even spark a war or two!

But really I'd rather you didn't since that would properly shatter my suspension of disbelief if he and Chigetsu were on the same team without Chigetsu taking the sword back.

Besides, experiments are more fun anyway. I mean, look at all those Orochimaru volunteers!

Just start calling him Trips.

I'm sure that'll make him love you. Even more so if it catches on.

First it starts with Trips, and before you know it, Rian has single handedly re-named every member of the team. I approve of this motion.
