[Casual to Advanced] Let's Play! :D

Hello everyone! Some of my RPs have dwindled off, so I'm looking for some fresh starts. I've been roleplaying for several years now with my roots stemming from terribly embarrassing Pokemon RPs, heheh. Anyway, I haven't formally advertised myself as 'Advanced' before, but I'm fully capable (and have the tendency to) post page long responses. I am continuously working to incorporate more depth into my characters and am always pushing myself to work on developing them. Of course, I'm not expecting this from you, as I am also looking for Casual players, but I will love you forever if you give it a try as well! :D I like to think that RPs are judge-free places where we can experiment with various literary techniques and stylistic choices. c:

Expectations (Nothing much, don't worry!)

I really, really enjoy detailed post! seriously, you can describe everything to the finest detail and I will absolutely love you for it. I don't like setting too much of a standard but I like posts to be, at least, two to three paragraphs. I understand that action heavy posts will be shorter than most, so if those are about a paragraph in length, that's okay! I'm not picky, but I really am not fond of one-liners. Typically, I will try to match your post length.

I prefer to conduct the roleplay over Private Messages. :)

My only restrictions are excessive gore, torture and abuse of self, others and drugs - everything else is cool. However, if you have any restrictions at all (whether it be pertaining to sex or whatsoever), please let me know! I don't mind at all. It's important we communicate, otherwise I will just assume that there are no restrictions.

Not going to lie, I always expect some form of romance in all my roleplays. I can't help it, haha! If that isn't your cup of tea, it may be negotiated if you happen to have a real delicious plot. I'm open to it, but will need prior notice! :D

Speaking of romance, I only do MxF. Sorry! I can't relate to MxM or FxF well enough to play it at a good quality. ;;

Plots

This one might take a little bit of doubling up! Essentially, this is set sometime in the future when mankind realizes that Earth is no longer able to single-handedly sustain their development and survival. In an effort to solve the issue, an international group of four researchers were given the most hi-tech space ship and technology possible. They would be launched towards the closest, seemingly habitable (in that its makeup is similar to that of Earth) planet. The planet [thusly un-named] is several lightyears away but, thanks to recent revolutions in technology, the researchers are able to arrive within a year of launch date. Their entire ride will have them in a cryogenic hibernation until just before arrival.

The goal? To scout out this new planet, find the basic necessities of life and to deem it safe for mankind to establish a new home. Of course, this doesn't take into account whatever life forms [preferably non-intelligent] may already reside there...and whether or not they're friend or foe.

A mute girl is rendered homeless [reason still unknown] and never had the opportunity to learn sign language. She can read and write just fine, but must communicate in other ways besides speech. A coffee store owner is forced by his deaf younger sister to help her out.

Time period is somewhere in the past, where nobles and such was still a thing. I'm not at all vehement about historical accuracies so, we'll probably mix and match from a variety of time periods. A rich character who is so used to the comforts of the privileged has finally done something [not sure what] and irked their parents. In their search to teach them a lesson, the parents send them away to live with their significantly poorer friends. These people are [fishermen, farmers, blacksmiths] who take the character under their wing. Naturally, this family has a child round about the same age as aforementioned character. They don't hit it off too well at first, due to a disparity of class. However, just as they were beginning to grow closer, the parents swoop in with intentions to take the rich character home and marry them off to some noble.

As she drew closer, Emberdust could see Leapstep talking to Skypaw. She hesitated for a brief moment and then cursed herself for acting silly. It was just Leapstep and Skypaw for StarClan's sake, what was wrong with her? She padded towards them, "Leapstep? Skypaw?" She called out calmly.

Emberdust has been about to turn away when Sparrowstar called her back again. She nodded, "Alright." She said, though she wanted to say that the likelihood of that happening in the near future would be next to none. But if their leader was still optimistic, then she would have to try to be like that too. She turned away then and padded out of the camp. She paused to scent the air when she was a little ways out. Detecting the smell of their medicine cat apprentice and another warrior, she headed their way.

Emeberdust looked towards the mountains, a contemplative look on her face. As much as it hurt her to say it, she suspected that the journey wouldn't be too bad. With the youngest being an apprentice and the oldest a warrior, they didn't have kits or elders to worry about. It was definitely a better plan than simply staying in these barren moorlands. She nodded solemnly, "You should make an announcement to the clan." She cast her amber gaze across the meagre camp they had scrapped together. With their clan numbers being at an all time low, it was easy to tell who was out. "Shall I go gather everyone?"

The deputy fell into step beside her leader. She could tell that there was a lot weighing in on the she-cat's mind and, with recent events, she wasn't all too surprised. A quick sidelong glance and she noted the five mice in Sparrowstar's jaws. Three of them looked like they were only a few days old, hardly enough for even Skypaw. Emberdust followed Sparrowstar into camp where she dropped off the rabbit into the miserably tiny pile of prey. She sighed, now able to speak with her mouth free, "How are you doing, Sparrowstar?" She asked, genuine concern in her voice.

Emberdust could see the clan leader up ahead with some prey dangling from her mouth. It looked like they were both on the way back to camp. She picked up her pace and tried, somewhat successfully, to run with the rabbit clamped in her mouth. "Sparrowstar!" She called out, though the word sounded a bit muffled.

Emberdust sighed. She had been poking around their new (hopefully temporary) territory. It was difficult to find any good prey around here. If they weren't too fast, then they were too lean to even bother. She had managed to catch a pretty decently sized rabbit, but that had only been because she had been lucky enough to find it resting among the shade of the few, sparse bushes. She started towards camp, her jaws clamped around the neck of the rabbit as she dragged it back. Through the scent of rabbit, she caught whiff of her clanmate's smell nearby. She set the rabbit down gently and lifted her head up, tasting the air carefully. Sparrowstar? What was the clan leader doing out? Picking up the rabbit again, she started towards them.
