Arsenio sat in his dimly lit room, sprawled partly on the table and staring listlessly at a Jenga tower that he had been playing by himself. It had pretty much taken the entirety of the previous day and then some to fully recover from his withdrawal, even after they pulled him out of the Duel and gave him the "Glip Drip" or "GG" as he called it. His days had been so regimented, so pre-planned, so ordered, that taking Gamma Glipheptin at regular intervals meant he hadn't had to suffer withdrawal in a very long time. The chaos of combat had resulted in his first missed dose in forever and had hit him pretty hard.

The last day had been a blur, he had been scolded pretty badly, but he was so out of it, and their lectures were usually in one ear out the other for him anyways that it hardly mattered. It pissed him off either way that he had been chided for allowing some soldiers to die. Arsenio figured he'd have to be more careful in the future, if only so he didn't have to hear them yap at him again. They were probably just sore that he let some of the suits get stolen. He wanted to blame the pilots of the Aegis and Strike for failing to stop the Raider from escaping, but then again, if they had succeeded without him, then there was no point as the success had to be his own for it to mean anything to him. Other than that, there were some rumors circulating, like 'were they attacked by pirates or ZAFT?', and 'ORB is blaming the presence of the OMNI suits for the attack,' but he didn't care, he was not on a need-to-know basis.

He had heard that those who had been involved were now being questioned. He wondered when they would come get him. Like a bad omen, the Jenga tower suddenly collapsed, making aloud clattering, and spilling long wooden rectangles all over the table and ground.
Posted, Eva may or may not remember that Ricden called Handel by his real name.
"Black Hole Merrick," Handel thought to himself. It would seem he's the only actual pirate on this ship. Handel got out of the crate he was hiding in and slowly made his way through the hold. "You can call me...'Amadeus'. I'm...a traveling musician," he said into the portable den den mushi in his hand. He now stood in the doorway that led outside and saw everyone gathered around Captain Eden. "It seems we've got a strange assortment of fellows here," he said, now speaking directly to the group, "but we're all, quite literally in the same boat, and knowing the marines, we're probably all in trouble with the authorities now simply for having gotten on this boat, pirate or not. I have no goals of my own, and as long as I have a guarantee that we're not going to kill each other, backstab each other, turn each other in to the authorities, or better yet, eat each other, I will be just as happy to remain on this ship and stay out of sight, offering what help I can as a humble musician." With this, he bowed deeply, as if he had just finished a violin solo at a concert hall.
I guess at this point, YingJue is dealing with the question of what she would be willing to do to win, how competition changes the competitor. It would be interesting if YingJue falls in with a crowd that actually condones her actions and promotes underhanded tactics, and she would have to decide whether to go with the 'dark side'.

Also, I got a post up.
YingJue was still a little shaken from what she had done, and though Hedy and Kartal would trust her for this match ,she wondered if they still would after they found out. But she would have to think about that later.

"Understood, Kartal," YingJue replied. She sent her four large DRAGOONs, the only ones which could actually fly under gravity, to harass the Patulia, while firing beams at it from her beam rifle and the small DRAGOONs mounted on the Mythos. Of course, her beams were unable to penetrate the Patulia's I-field, but she sent her large DRAGOONs to fly between the field and the Patulia since solid matter could penetrate, allowing them to fire uninhibited. Of course, the Patulia was also well armored, and the beams from her DRAGOONs were probably like pea shooters to it. Kartal was prepared to move into close range and Hedy's arrival with the TC made YingJue think she was planning on doing the same thing. YingJue realized that close range combat was probably another weakness of hers that she might have to try to compensate for. "I...I just got here..." YingJue said to Hedy, not in the mood to speak much of what she had just done to the Thai champion.
I will probably get a post up tomorrow. I'm wondering what the extent is to which Arsenio got punished for letting OMNI soldiers die. It might inform my post.
I will probably get a post up tomorrow.
I will probably get a post up tomorrow.
Yeah, I'm also waiting for Genji, Handel is waiting for everyone to introduce themselves and the captain has yet to do so.
I am super excited for this to begin and await our GMs' verdicts on our characters.

On a "Completely Unrelated" note, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" was a great children's book wasn't it?
