Sorry for the wait, job's been...weird.

Also, just as a reminder, I'm looking for an opportunity to upgrade the Duel to the Duel Assault Shroud. Vance, please let me know when you think is an appropriate time for this upgrade.
Arsenio just looked at Kaiser with a cat-lipped smile as Kaiser walked away. He didn't care about being right, he only cared about getting under people's skin and in this case, he felt he had succeeded. He did wonder why Kaiser, an OMNI soldier, would be so quick to defend Richard, an ORB soldier, but simply shrugged it off. If anything, having ORB soldiers on an OMNI ship, piloting OMNI suits should be putting every OMNI soldier on edge. Maybe it was a 'respect between aces' thing, since Arsenio recalled that Richard was an ace within ORB.

After Mizawa's announcement, Arsenio asked, "But have we found the targets yet? Killing the Chinese if they should attempt to betray us is good and all, but I want to kill the MS thieves!"
Saturnalia considered the offer for a moment, then replied, "I'm not ready to alter my allegiance just yet, so I would prefer option two and keep my independence even if I have to sacrifice living amenities and crew priority to do so. However, as strange as this may sound, I have no intention of loafing around your ship, so I would like to volunteer for chores so that I may pull my weight and take my share of the burden. 'He who does not work, neither shall he eat', as the saying goes. I also agree to fight when ordered, but if contact is made with...well...anyone who actually knows of the nations that I am familiar with, besides Captain Aker, I hope that I am allowed the right to return to my proper allegiance, but I promise that I will make no hostile action towards the ship or crew upon my return unless hostile action is taken by the ship or crew to prevent my return."

Saturnalia took a deep breath and hoped the Captain would accept her final condition. She didn't need a room, she could stay in the Virtue and stretch her legs in the hangar if need be. It was a spartan lifestyle, but one she would be able to cope with as an Innovator. She was reminded of the ancient Chinese epic, The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the part where General Guan Yu, who was loyal to his lord, Liu Bei, but they were separated after a battle, and Guan Yu joined temporarily, their enemy, Cao Cao for a short period before he caught wind of his lord's whereabouts and returned.
Sorry for the long wait and meager post :P
YingJue was a little embarrassed that Gordon was being so loud and drawing attention to the table, but proceeded to ask, "W-what do you mean by 'a fighter's instincts'?"
Saturnalia simply ignored Beta Leader's ignorant comment; as an Innovator, she felt secure in her mental superiority. In reply to Captain Jason Hiyan's questions, she replied, "I accept your decision concerning Trinity. As for the dangers posed by GN drives, I can assure you that while The Virtue uses an authentic drive and is thus clean, the Throne Drei uses a counterfeit drive, and GN particle beam attacks from such dirty methods of particle generation have been shown to cause poisoning to humans. The difference is visibly apparent, The Virtue generates a green glow while the Throne generates a red glow. While the Throne is deactivated, you don't need to worry about the dangers. I don't mind that you have engineers inspecting The Virtue, I trust that it will keep its secrets. As for the Throne, I agree to aiding you in unlocking it and ultimately, in dismantling it, though I cannot guarantee that I can convert it's GN Drive into a clean one."

When the captain mentioned nuclear powered suits, Saturnalia was a bit concerned, the three major hegemonies, Union, the HRL, and the AEU, had all switched to clean solar; only rogue nations continued to use nuclear power and petroleum. Yet if they were part of a rogue nation, they would have clearly denounced the UN, and probably have killed her and Graham already. She decided to keep these thoughts to herself.

"Actually," Saturnalia added, "about the OMNI conscription protocol, even though I said I'd happily follow Captain Aker's example, I won't blindly agree to something until I know the full terms. One should never accept a contract without reading the fine print."
"Texas Hold 'em is a form of poker where..." Arsenio began to explain before Donald interrupted.

"Work?" Arsenio asked, feigning ignorance. "Pilots don't work, we play. We play the game of death, we either kill or train to kill. The simulation is, after all, just an over glorified video game, and this," Arsenio began shuffling the cards he had on hand at incredible speed, "though but a simple game, is a game nonetheless, and a form of training to kill in its own right. Besides, I expect we'll be fighting together as a team. Since we don't know each other at all, what could be more important than teambuilding and getting inside each other's heads through a game of poker?"

When Kaiser mentioned Richard, Arsenio simply shrugged, "If you were suspected of fraternizing with the enemy, wouldn't you put in extra effort to appear extra devoted and hardworking to dispel such suspicions? Or perhaps he really is a spy and is trying to familiarize himself with the Calamity's systems as soon as possible so he can steal away with it or stab us all in the back when we least expect it?" Arsenio smiled as if none of this concerned him. Arsenio actually respected Kaiser for his combat ability, but Arsenio talked back to everyone, regardless of his respect for them.
I have family over right now, sorry for the wait. I'd like to get a post for Arsenio to reply to Donald and Milya, but it might be a bit.
"Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with OMNI, or PLANTS, but I assure you, my allegiance is to the UN, and any UN affiliated countries," Saturnalia paused and decided to explain the UN, crazy as it sounds, "The UN was established by the five allied nations after WW2, it is the only legitimate world government..." She trailed off. This was going nowhere."Well, now that I have your attention, I might as well answer some questions. My suit, The Virtue, and Trinity's suit, the Throne Drei, use similar reactors, known as Solar Furnaces, or GN Drives. They run off of GN particles. The furnaces do replenish the particles themselves, but require energy to do so. Yes, my suit is top secret, and I may be revealing more information than I should, but if I expect you to trust me, I need to be more open and truthful. That being said, I have two high-priority requests.

One: as you all have noticed, The Virtue is an amazing artillery unit, and is in fact, capable of taking out an entire battleship on its own if used properly. In order to add this asset to your arsenal, I need energy from your ship. With my instruction, an engineer can build a power conduit to fit the GN Drives. With the threat of limited power removed, I can take more offensive actions during combat without having to worry about conserving my GN Particles. By the way, I am the only person the suit will accept as its pilot. The only other person who may be able to break the lock that is in place is Trinity herself, which brings me to my next request.

Two: Trinity must either be detained indefinitely or executed. In no way should you grant her any clemency. She is an international criminal and terrorist, having slaughtered civilians and done much damage to the nations of Earth. She is also highly intelligent and resourceful, giving her any freedom will result in your ship being sabotaged and members of your crew being killed. Question her if you must, but she is highly uncooperative at the best of times."

Saturnalia took a breath, to let her words sink in.

"I don't mean to make demands of the ship or the captain, these are merely requests, and if you will grant them, I will happily follow Captain Aker's example and pledge myself to this ship, at least, until I am able to reestablish contact with my superiors."
@Vancexentan, the United Nations exists during Gundam 00 season 1. Even though Saturnalia is from a bit into the future of Graham, it was right before the formation of A-Laws and the Earth Sphere Federation, so the government she is referring to should be familiar to Graham. It doesn't affect my post, just FYI.

EDIT: I was also hoping that the other AU's would at least have the UN as part of their history books because typically, all Gundam universes are just future versions of modern Earth.
