I forgot a minor detail, the optical camouflage of the Celestial Being Gundams doesn't work when they're moving, so the Virtue is sort of sneaking about, stopping, cloaking, checking surroundings, then decloaking and sneaking about again, Metal Gear Solid-style.

It's totally feasible if some enemies catch her in the middle of such shenanigans.

"I'm fine, Miss Baker," Saturnalia replied, "The Virtue, like most of the Gundams that were built where I'm from, were designed for hit and run operations, and lack sustain on the field. After making an attack like that, I'm low on energy until my GN Drive can replenish itself, or I get energy from an external source to increase the recharge speed, which is why I'm actually quite dependent on the Sundown for continued combat effectiveness." She continued to make her way back to the ship for a bit before saying, "But I appreciate your concern, all the same." It made her wonder about normal humans, who Ribbons and the other Innovades spoke of as greedy, violent, and selfish, the cause for the world's endless state of conflict. Before she could think much more on the topic, another intense thought came to her from the source of quantum brainwaves, this time with a clearer message.

"Gra..ham..."

"aaaAAAKER!"

Saturnalia stopped. Any Innovade who could harbor this strong of a hatred for Captain Aker had to be with Celestial Being. Even though it was risky, she had to see for herself. Apparently, another enemy from her world had shown up. She veered away from her path to the Sundown and headed towards where Gabriel in the X Gundam, and Reve in the Exia had been dueling and were now engaged in tense negotiations.

After firing the shot, Saturnalia immediately activated optic camouflage. A single shot of the GN Bazooka in Full Burst mode drained most of her GN Particles and the Virtue's GN Drives would require considerable time to replenish her stock. The comparison between the Virtue to a weapon of mass destruction, like a nuclear missile, was quite apt; you could only use it one. Her mission accomplished, Saturnalia made to sneak back to the Sundown, when a sudden wave of erratic thought carried across quantum brain waves assaulted her mind. Saturnalia grabbed her head in bewilderment, but after the initial shock, she quickly went through her memories of all the Innovades in existence. Who was this? Surely not one of Ribbon's group, and definitely not Tieria, the only Innovade not part of the Innovators. What did this mean? That there were Innovades that that the Innovators didn't know about, or did this further support the multiple universes/timelines theory? Or perhaps, it wasn't an Innovade at all, and just one of the Newtypes the others had been talking about. No, Saturnalia got a slightly different feeling from people like Puru, this...this was definitely another Innovade. This wasn't what she had planned, if any of the Innovators had shown up, she would have kindly excused herself from the Sundown under terms of non-aggression in order to be united with her true allegiance, but this...the worst case scenario would be if this Innovade, like Tieria, was part of Celestial Being. At any rate, standing out here with low energy, she was useless, and made her way under cover of camouflage back to the Sundown.

I realize that 7 hours later is not 'soon', as I had said, but I was halfway done with my post when something came up. I'm not trying to give any excuses, I just wanted to apologize for the delay.

"Thank you, Ms. Baker," Saturnalia replied to the communications officer, before saying, "Ensign Noelle, Virtue Gundam, taking off."

The catapult sent her a distance away. She waited for the rest of the team to arrive before getting into her firing position. "Donna, I'm counting on you to watch my back in case any enemies manage to get that close, the Virtue's lousy at close combat.

When the group made visual contact with the enemy carrier, the Virtue opened the chest cover over its GN Drive and attached the butt end of the GN Bazooka directly into the drive. "Lieutenant Black Star, I realize that when I first joined, I probably seemed obsessed with getting power for my suit from your ship. Allow me to demonstrate the necessity and the benefit." She took her time adjusting her firing angle. Although she felt this ambush was unnecessarily aggressive, she needed to establish her place among her current allies. She also had no qualms about eliminating members of this "Zeon", a supposed space colony insurgent group. Though space colonies had not yet developed to the point where they could have their own "nations" in her world, Saturnalia felt that even if they did, they had no place in Veda's plan. Still, maybe she didn't want to eliminate the enemy ship's control tower just yet, especially if they wanted to capture the enemy leadership for interrogations. She aimed the bazooka at the hanger, hoping that her shot would prevent the deployment of enemy reinforcements.

"Activating 'Burst Mode'," Saturnalia proclaimed. The Virtue dug int's heels into the ground to maintain stability. The bazooka opened up like a jaw while a golden, inner barrel extended forward. After a short period of charging, the bazooka fired an intense, pink column of energy that traveled towards the enemy ship's hangar. Saturnalia thought about how most suits and Gundams were designed for taking out other suits and Gundams, in essence for dueling. The Virtue wasn't a duelist, it was a weapon of mass destruction, and the only other Gundam with comparable firepower in the Sundown was the X Gundam piloted by Gabriel Cross, the man who had saved her on their first encounter. Saturnalia wondered about the sort of power trip the Captain must be having, sending both of them out in a preemptive strike like this. The thought made her admire him somewhat.

Since my participation has been lackluster, I thought I might try to get more involved by playing more characters. So I have introduced the twins and gundam-character look-alikes, Thierry and Regina. Hedy will be happy.

Please let me know if I'm doing the character look-alikes wrong since I never watched build fighters.

For today's battle, YingJue took out a Guul that she had prepared beforehand. Despite its bulky appearance, the Mythos was flight capable, but YingJue thought that by putting it on a flight platform, it would reinforce the first impression most people had of the Mythos, causing them to underestimate it, thinking they could win by simply shooting down the Guul. She headed to the stadium, wondering who she was going to face.

"Well, we're finally here, Thierry," Said a young woman with short, wavy, dark violet hair and red eyes framed behind oval glasses. She pushed a wheelchair with a young man, with straight, dark violet hair, and red eyes behind oval glasses. The resemblance between this brother-sister pair, fraternal twins, was striking.

"Yes, thank you, Regina, for accompanying me all this way," the man, Thierry, replied.

"Don't sweat it," Regina said, "Besides, it's not like I don't enjoy being here." They continued to the stadium, eager to spectate the upcoming matches.

While the Virtue trudged along behind Paul's assault team, Saturnalia wondered what the point of this operation was. It's fine if Captain Jason wanted to take in a defector, but to use this Rowan fellow to initiate an ambush on an unknown enemy group seemed needlessly aggressive. As far as Saturnalia could tell, Captain Jason didn't even know what "Zeon" was, other than that Puru didn't like it. This sort of animalistic 'kill or be killed' mentality was exactly what the Innovators wanted to achieve. Saturnalia reminisced about Ribbons, and the light in his eyes whenever he spoke of a world where humanity was guided by the hand of the enlightened Innovators, a world of order.

Saturnalia was, however, broken out of her thoughts when she heard Paul mention something about questioning Nena. She had no idea they had been interrogating her, trying to get information out of her. Saturnalia saw this as a risk to herself and the Innovators. If Nena spilled any information about the Innovators or Veda, it might spell disaster for Ribbons' group, who relied on secrecy and behind-the-scenes manipulation of the Earth's governments. But then again, would such information even mean anything to these people? Regardless, perhaps she should request to be present during their interrogations just in case.

"Actually, Trinity may have information that is valuable to me. May I be present during the interrogations?" Saturnalia asked.
