"I-I'll be...fine..." Israfil said, trying to sound stronger than he felt. Still, Orpheus did not move as Israfil still had not grasped his piloting controls. The Fury flew back behind Orpheus and began pushing it along instead.

The group made it back to the Incubator and began docking procedures, which involved entering from one of two bay doors on the sides of the ship and locking the feet of the cogs into the docking platforms, which will move the cogs back into their positions along the walls of the hangar. This way, if some cogs are launching out the front, returning cogs wont get in the way. By the time they got back, Israfil was calm enough to dock himself. Once everyone had docked, Maya assembled everyone together, "Alright so until we reach our destination, everyone has free time, but I want to assign everyone at least five hours of cog training every day. Your cog OS's are installed with training simulators. You just get in your cog, boot up the simulator and start training, using the controls as usual, only instead of moving the cog, it will only send instructions to the program, got it?" When there weren't any questions, Maya continued, "Alright, dismissed. RHS, come with me." Sion followed wordlessly.

Solomon went up to Israfil and said, "So...Eihon...Israfil, was it? I hope you know I didn't mean to do that to you, and I'm sorry for what happened." Solomon just didn't go as far as admitting he had lost control of his cog. "I hope you can forgive me." When he had apologized out in space, he had sounded more sincere, having legitimately panicked at the realization that he was attacking one of his teammates, but it felt that after some time, his apology now sounded more irritated than earlier.

Israfil, who had by now stopped crying though his eyes were still a bit red, "I understand...it was an accident."

"OK, cool then. So...friends?" Solomon said with a slight bit of sarcastic relief in his voice and a smile that bordered on mischievous as he held out his hand, which Israfil took, and the two shook.

Israfil turned to Claire, "A-and thank you for fixing Orpheus for me. I feel a lot safer knowing that I can get repairs in the field. M-my name's Israfil Eihon, I don't know if I've formally introduced myself yet, I-I guess I haven't spent that much time with you guys yet." He directed this last statement to the women in the group.

Solomon looked down his nose with a serious look of distaste at Blythe. He didn't like the fact that she had managed to shoot down a couple of his bits since he was so proud of his cog's ability. However he didn't keep this up long enough for anyone to notice since he was trying not to get in trouble with her again.
"At ease," Pharazon replied appreciating Corina's formality, "And yes, I'll be leading the team of pilots." Pharazon looked to where Corina indicated. "Oh, that looks like one of the ensigns in our team," Pharazon said, giving no indication that they found Arienne's behavior or appearance unusual in any way. Many Quantums adopted unusual eccentricities, Pharazon was eccentric in their own right, one of which was having a poor grasp of what constituted 'normal' behavior. In an economic gesture, Pharazon waved Arienne to join them.
Asteria's repair beam worked like a charm, fixing the Orpheus good as new save for a few scorch marks that did not constitute as true damage.

"We're gonna have to try that on the ship sometime," Sion said, more and more impressed by Asteria's capabilities.

"L-let's get back to the ship for now," Maya ordered, "RHS, we need to discuss what happened in private."

"Understood," Sion said, putting aside his fascination with Asteria, and adopting a more solemn tone. His Fury was capable of splitting into three separate components, yet he could control all three simultaneously easily enough without losing control, so it had never occurred to him that such a thing could happen. Granted, Solomon was controlling 18 bits in addition to Legion, but a part of Sion wondered if Solomon losing control was due to the fact that he was only human. Sion was a little disappointed that no other Quantums joined the team.

As the group headed back for the ship, Tera suddenly spoke up, "Umm...Eihon?" Mayura turned around. Orpheus hadn't moved. A stifled sob came through the comm link. A quick look at Orpheus' video feed showed that Israfil had brought his legs up in a fetal position and had buried his head in his knees. He was crying.
"I understand, Lady Maria," Fantine said, while looking at Maria's bloody hand. "Eponine has also warned me against contracting, though sometimes I wish I could share your burdens. But that would only make Eponine worry even more."

While Eponine was jumping branch to branch, one icy branch broke under her weight. As she fell, she hooked one end of her hammer onto a branch to catch herself, fortunately, though the branch strained, it did not break. Eponine watched as the branch that had broken continued to crash downwards into the infinite sky, as the terror of falling forever seized her. She shakily puled herself back up, using a bit of magic to compensate for upper body strength that she did not have. Once secure on the branch, she took a few breaths to steady herself. In this slow, dangerous manner, Eponine finally made it to one of the factories that spewed out endless streams of smoke that turned into snow that fell upwards. The branch she was on was close enough to a window of the factory, so she threw a hammer through it, creating a loud noise as glass shattered into the factory. Without thinking, she threw herself through the open window, glad to finally have something stable to stand on, though her jump was less than spot on, as her arm slid against a broken shard of window pane, and the ceiling of the factory was a lot further from the window than she thought. She plummeted down and landed hard on the ceiling. Things in her body felt horribly wrong, slight pain mixed with the memory of more intense pain she could no longer feel stabbed through her as she got back to her feet, shambling forward for a few moments like a zombie until she fell back to the ground. Even though her magic was defensive and even though she could not feel pain, it didn't mean that she didn't sustain damage normally, nor did it mean that she healed any faster than other magical girls. She lay there for a while contemplating her stupidity, as she healed. However now that she was closer to the center, there was a pretty high likelihood that she would be running into familiars, or even the witch itself fairly soon. She hoped her bones had knit by then.
The bits were small, fast and hard to hit, but Blythe managed to take down several. Obsidian dashed towards Legion and punched it in the head, shocking Solomon out of his mental shackling by the cog's targeting system. Orpheus was damaged, but not overly so, however Israfil was silent.

"Rivers! See if you can repair Orpheus!" Maya commanded, a slight amount of trepidation audible in her voice, "Lear, Eihon! Talk to me!"

"Lieutenant?!" came Solomon's voice over the comm link as he came back to his senses, "I-I'm sorry, I don't know what..." then he saw Orpheus on his screen. "Eihon! I'm sorry..."

"I...I'm...okay," Israfil finally said, fighting back sobs of terror.
I might make Eponine create a ruckus (since she's not that good at fighting quietly and would see no need to) which could attract Violetta's attention. Here's hoping the snow doesn't muffle the sounds.

Though I might post tomorrow, won't be able to get a post up right now.
Blythe could try shooting the bits, or doing something to Legion to make it stop.
No issues with your post, @baskets. I guess if anyone wants clarification, all pilots will be given a standard issue sidearm (beam pistol) on the ship. Military types can bring their own weapons as long as it does not take up a lot of space, so pistols, knives, etc. are fine, no assault rifles, shields, etc. Your luggage is being shipped over to the ship so you don't need to be carrying it yourself, but you can if you didn't want to give it to the baggage handlers. Your luggage will be limited, mostly civilian clothing for shore leave, personal hygiene stuff, and small personal effects, things that you could put on a nightstand or small photos to hang up. Let me know if I left out any essentials.

Also rank goes in this order: Ensign > Lieutenant > Lieutenant Commander > Commander > Captain > Rear Admiral > Vice Admiral > Admiral > Fleet Admiral.

The HDF Evolution is commanded by a Commander, but the entire Destiny Squadron (all four ships) is controlled by a Captain who also stays on the Evolution since it is the squadron's flagship.
Pharazon arrived at the gate 15 minutes before departure time and saw Corina. "Lieutenant Chun; Lieutenant Commander Pharazon CXS, pronounced 'Chess'," Pharazon introduced themself. Pharazon was promoted to lieutenant commander when they were appointed to lead the cog team, while all other cog pilots would start at the rank of ensign except those who had official Horizon military history. In Corina's case, since she served in the Planetary Defense Force instead of the Fleet, she was made lieutenant regardless of her prior PDF rank. Although Pharazon felt awkward around humans, Corina had received professional military training, and that was something Pharazon could trust in. Pharazon also failed to notice Arienne.
I wasn't sure if you wanted to do anything, like jump in and try to help Israfil or stop Solomon somehow, so I'll leave the post where it is. If Claire and Blythe don't do anything, Maya and Sion will step in.
