From his vantage point up in the rigging, Handel could see that Eva was not cooperating with Ricden. Even then, he had made ready to jump into the sea when Eva climbed up towards the crows nest just in case she decided to capture him. She did not, so Handel continued to untie the sails. Before he could finish, he heard Lucky call for help. Handel frantically finished untying the last knot on his side before running over.

"Here, let me show you," Handel said, demonstrating the correct way of doing it. "Right, now you do the rest. I'll see about helping our 'fruit merchant' fend off Red Lightning."

Handel was about to climb back down the rigging, when he looked up and shouted, "Miss Solkruez, I saw that wind you summoned. Devil fruit ability?"

OK, so do we want to just move over to a different RP then? I could set one up just like this one but for the Four Gods one. Rin and Raineh Daze, you two seem to be pretty close, are there other RPers you know who would be interested? Since there will be 4 Gods and therefore 4 MG/MB's, if you can get one or two people, that would be good. I can play as one of the MG/MB's but I don't want to play two and take up half the team.

I'll set up an OOC soon if responses are positive.

After an uneventful flight and shuttle ride to Shizuoka, YingJue found herself situated into her hotel room. As it was already night, she pulled out her laptop and began looking over the structure of the tournament, if there were going to be elimination rounds first, and if not, what the starting bracket would look like. She also tried to look up information on the entrants from the other countries, looking for videos that had been uploaded to the internet of their battles so she could get a feel for their abilities and tactics. YingJue was getting nervous but excited.

Here is my character sheet. I absolutely intend to change it in order to incorporate things relating to her relation with Ryuunosuke, Takeshi, and Junkojuro.

Kanaka

Kanaka has neck-length, raven black hair and light-brown intense eyes bordering on red. Her ability to perceive that which is hidden can be seen in here eyes which, many claim, intimidate and "pierce the soul". Her demeanor and expression is usually unassuming and modest, though can seem aloof and disinterested as well. When not in her traditional miko outfit consisting of a red hakama (long pleated skirt) and white haori(kimono jacket), Kanaka usually wears a yukata or kimono depending on the weather and season.

Personality: Having lost her parents at a young age, Kanaka knew that being a pampered princess was not an option. She has embraced the mantra of usefulness and thinks of herself as more of a servant or bargaining chip to her brother than as his equal. From a young age, she has devoted herself to seeking the spiritual in the hopes of providing occult aid for her brother when he finally takes the mantle to lead the clan. Becoming a miko was also her 'excuse' to avoid the political and diplomatic stresses that might have been thrust upon her had she not tried to avoid them. This is perhaps her single act of defiance, as otherwise, she is incredibly accommodating and tries her best to preserve harmony with those around her, a trait making her all too easy to manipulate in a political setting. She has difficulty taking initiative but follows orders religiously. She is prepared to sacrifice her freedom and sense of self should it fall on her to make a political marriage for the sake of her clan.
Skills and Abilities:

Spiritual Awareness: Can see and sense the supernatural.
Magic user: Knows basic spiritual spells for healing, exorcism, etc., with a focus on barriers.

Possessions and Assets: Kanaka is a member of the main shrine and has access to it and the people there. As the daughter of the previous clan leader, she has some diminished clout, due to her un-involvement with politics. She has a keepsake from her parents, a small magatama that she wears on a necklace.
Bio: Kanaka's parents, Mitsumine Daichi and Mizuho, died when she was only two. She was raised by her uncle, Takeshi alongside her brother, Ryuunosuke. Though Takeshi tried to protect her and her brother from the troubles of the world, Kanaka's observant nature let her understand that there was potential danger, and set herself to prepare for it. She understood that shouldering the burden of leading the clan and dealing with politics would fall on her brother so Kanaka sought another, less used means of obtaining power. She joined the main shrine as a miko at a young age in order to hone her awareness of the supernatural, to harness the power of magic, and to potentially enlist the aid of kami, ayakashi, and youkai.

YingJue woke with a start. She was still on the train to Beijing where she will take her flight to Tokyo for the competition. She stared wistfully out the window, wondering what challenges await her. She had performed phenomenally at the beginning, but as she rose into prominence, she had encountered more opponents who were able to deal with her all-out all-range attack, either with reflexes that could dodge the endless beam fire from her DRAGOONS, accuracy to shoot them down with, or some other specific counter. She had managed to pull through and secured her spot in the tournament, but she knew it wasn't going to be easy. Despite the fact that she was representing her country in an internationally recognized sport, she still had had a tough time convincing her professors to give her leave to participate in the competition. It was thus even more impossible for any of her club-mates to come with her as they were held back by their studies and research projects. YingJue's mother would also be busy with work, so YingJue was going alone. She realized that she wasn't that familiar with the logistics of the tournament, which countries participated, or how many from each country were allowed to compete. She wondered if any of her fellow countrymen would be there. She sat back and closed here eyes again, praying silently that she would be able to take the hopes, dreams, and wishes of those left behind to victory.
