Worlds Collide: A Merged Universe Superhero Roleplay

Any Marvel/DC Roleplay is going to be fanfiction.

We're taking existing characters we're fans of and writing fiction about them. Even with the collaborative aspect, it's fanfiction, just collaborative fanfiction. I would also never knock fanfiction. I've spent 8 years building what is, essentially, a giant Elder Scrolls collaborative fanfiction.

First and foremost, we all enjoy this hobby and can enjoy it in the way we like, whether that's solo or with others.

For example, and not to call out - Roman set out what he wanted to do and was more than transparent about his intentions. He wrote his 10 part Hellblazer series, and it was actually incredible and anyone who enjoys this hobby in any way should read it and get inspired. That's why I do this, to slowly leech away at all of my favourite writers talents by being in proximity to them.

I would hope we are not brushing off spectacular writing, and efforts made by creative individuals over whether they do, or do not collaborate.

We are all writing Fanfiction here, and there is not a thing wrong with it.

Yeah no plans to immediately stop right now, I'm at the very least committed to finishing the Shaw storyline.

A lot has happened the last few days so I want to make my own intentions clear going forward.

Without spoiling much, my end goal is to form Birds of Prey, and, given I am one of the most active posters at the moment and plan to remain so this is not something I would be flexible on. It's built into my arc.

Gala will go ahead on a smaller scale.

I will continue to write in the RP and re-evaluate where I am when I complete my current arc.

Edit: I suspect I am 8-10 posts away from this.

Hello! The thing said to interduce myself, so here i am!

I am a relatively new roleplayer, I've only been into it for about 8 months with D&D and little small friend group things. I do enjoy writing big huge complex backstories but also enjoy doing improv seeing how I can weave the dimensions of the character into the plot. I'm into a lot of fantasy, sci-fi, and also trying to get into romance. Also, although i am fairly fluent, my english at times can be questionable, because it isn'tmy first language.:3

I'm 26 and thankfully this isn't my first rodeo because I've been off and on doing roleplay like this for a little over a decade now, mostly with friends of mine. I also play too much a lot of D&D and other TTRPGs. I'm a huge fan of fantasy settings of any kind. High fantasy, modern fantasy, anything like that.
