Talya dreams of being successful and well known in life. She would like to be remembered after her death. How, she doesn't know, but so far her best bet has been her art.

All of Talya's fears are from her human emotions. Her fears include heights, small spaces, and needles.
Talya was born into a heavily privileged family. Her father was the owner of a oil company that owned multiple rigs - something Talya never agreed with. Her mother is a physical therapist for the New England Patriots. Growing up, Tal had more than what she wanted - all she simply had to do was ask. Her mother was the one who nurtured her. Her father was always to busy closing more and more contracts. When he was home, he was physically abusive to both his daughter and his wife. Why, no one ever knew. Most of Talya's childhood was spent in the hospital with broken bones, fractures, and bruises. Her father paid his way out of any confrontation with Social Services.
Growing up, Talya was sent to the most prestigious private schools that money could buy. Her grades were kept high due to fear of her fathers anger, often causing the young girl to vomit from stress sickness. Talyas mother tried her best to be there for her daughter, but at the end of the day could not bring herself to leave her husband. While he had become a monster that she hated, she did still love him. This caused Talya to have some resentment to her mother in the long run.
The young girl had tried her best to get her father to stop hurting her to no avail. She had kicked and screamed - but he still didn't stop. Each night Talya would lie in bed, thinking of ways to get both her and her mother out of the situation that they were in.
On Halloween night of her seventeenth year, Talya finally put her plan into action.
When her father asked her to refill his glass for her as he always did, Talya took a little extra time. Sneaking some of her mothers sleeping medication from the upstairs bedroom, Talya opened the capsules and made sure that she put enough into her fathers drink that he would be locked out cold. She had recently bought a pair of old hand cuffs from a neighbors yard sell, claiming that they were to be used for her costume that year. Her mother and father had been sleeping in separate bedrooms since she was five, making it easier for her to handcuff her father to the bed once he had fallen asleep. The young woman poured the gas all around the room and the stairs before striking the match and running to wake her mother.
The older woman rushed upstairs to where her husband lay, only to find him trapped where he was in the middle of the flames. Talya's mother screamed bloody murder, demanding to know what her daughter had done as if she didn't already know. Still caring for her mother, Talya ran up the stairs to drag her mother out of the house. Both of the women escaped the house with minimal burns. Talya's father, on the other hand, was deceased.
Upon the arrival of the police, Talya's mother told the cops what she had suspected had happened. Talya confessed and was sent to a psych ward before trial. Here, they found out that Talya was of sound mind - and she didn't regret what she had done. Talya was sentenced to life in prison without parole. The first two years of her sentence were to be served in juvenile detention.
This is where the scouts for Project Untamed found Talya. Discarded into the system, the young woman was a prime candidate for the experiment.
