Personality:
Yoshi notably portrays himself as an enthusiastic, respectable, and charismatic individual who could easily rally an entire crowd with simple sentences and gestures. He was very sociable, often attempting to get on a personal level with almost everyone he meets. This was largely evidenced by calling individuals by their given name and any nicknames he could think of. Most of his actions are only done just for the sake of having entertainment or that which gives him interest. His random, unexplained decisions makes him one of the most unpredictable ones that only a few could even barely understand. One of the most recognizable traits someone would be able to notice is his never fading smile, grinning or smirking even through the most serious of events and yelling out Oda.

Yoshi is regularly considered the "Big Brother of the Family". He is generally a laid back man. At other times, Yoshi regularly make trips to help the citizenry as well as play games of Hop-Scotch or Hide-and-Seek with the children. Another part of his unpredictable personality that never changes is his inability to harm women physically, no matter what their opinion might be. The safety of women always comes first on his list,

Playful under pressure, even during the heat of battle, Yoshi often takes the time to poke lighthearted fun against opponents and engage in small unrelated conversations with a smile or grin, or even erupt in erratic laughter. But when the need arises, he can be serious and quick to action when threatened, endangered or extremely annoyed. He is deeply perceptive and can tell when someone was lying. By extension he has a deep insight of life and death, coming to an understanding that death was inevitable and should be met like an old friend.

History/Background:
Yoshitsune is the grandson of a disciple of the Sage. His family is one of the wealthiest and oldest clans in Sunagakure grasping a healthy amount of respect from the populace. Yoshitsune was the first child born to his clan after the war. A birth that was seen as a blessing to the members of his clan. With the teachings that were created during his grandfather and father’s generations, it was pronounced that Yoshi would receive grand teachings.

Studies within the ninja academy were easy for the young Sawada. Whilst he did not acquire the highest scores of the academy; he did however place within the top 5. With the Academy being a breeze as it were, Yoshi graduated at the tender age of 12. Despite his obvious quality being above your average genin, his father discussed with the Sunakage to hold Yoshi back until he felt that his son was ready. A agreement was made that once Yoshi reached the age of eighteen then he would be placed on a team and attend the Chunin Exams. The training lasted for six years; Yoshi’s father teaching him how to apply his abilities instead of just learning tons of offensive jutsu. Yoshi would be ready to face the Sage-less world and represent the truth of the Sawada Clan.

As with most ninja, Yoshi keeps an arsenal of ninja tools including kunai, shuriken, Senbon, caltrops, explosive tags, and smoke bombs.

Chakra Kunai - A uniquely designed kunai made from a special metal that can be only be found in the Land of Ash. Due to the unique properties of the metal, the kunai can be infused with any elemental chakra. In addition the kunai can also absorb chakra from certain sources, including the user as well as the opponent and as a result, the more chakra it absorbs the tougher it becomes. It can be used to produce a variety of effects, depending on the user and the elemental chakra nature absorbed.

It takes the form of a large kunai-style dagger that can be used as a long range projectile weapon or for close range combat purposes similar to a katana. Unlike traditional kunai, this chakra kunai is slightly longer with a silver edge, while the middle of the kunai is black and symbols are inscribed on it. Yoshi makes use of the kunai by having his chakra deep within which allows him to transfer his electromagnetic chakra and gives him absolute control over the kunai.

Yoshi currently has several of these chakra kunai in his possession, and is greatly used by him during combat, making it one of his primary weapons. According to Yoshi the chakra kunai are slightly heavier than a standard kunai, but with enough time and practice, the user can use the kunai without much difficulty.

Electromagnetic Field - What lies in the Sawada blood is the ability to manipulate the electromagnetic field/spectrum through their chakra. This technique allows the user to create, shape and manipulate electromagnetism which (with the exception of gravitation) account for almost all physical phenomena observable to the unaided human senses, including light and other electromagnetic radiation, all of chemistry, most of mechanics (excepting gravitation), and of course magnetism and electricity. That said, only few truly powerful individuals are capable reaching such heights of power, most users have to content themselves with lesser if still impressive abilities. Due to the intense versatility with electricity (such as electrocution, heat generation, computer and mind hacking, and electrolysis) and magnetism (such as metal manipulation, magnetic levitation, atomic manipulation, and attract and repel), electromagnetism is one of the most powerful and versatile elemental manipulation in existence. However, the most interesting power of this technique would be the allowance of generating electromagnetic fields from one's body.

Special Traits:
Kunai-jitsu - Despite being a more mid range fighter, Yoshi has trained in the usage of kunai for long range accuracy, and more importantly close range combat. He understands the basics of hand to hand combat and has intertwined that with intricate knowledge of kunai techniques, something Yoshi calls Kunai-jitsu.

Chakra Control - Having trained for five years to be a Chunnin, chakra control is strong with Yoshi. He carries a precision in his control that is reminiscent to a Hyuuga.

Naturally Gifted - Yoshi has proven through his years that he is naturally gifted in the tactics and strategies of combat. Predicted to be a superior sensai one day, Yoshi is effective in creating situations that allow him to use his abilities at their best for his level.
