I'll admit, when I first thought this up, I was going to expect constant posts coming out of the wood-works, but seeing how far the idea has come, I think a slightly slower pace is probably a better idea in the long run.

That being said, there's no penalty for posting 'too-fast' either, so I think everyone will be fairly satisfied with how things progress.

Provided my plot doesn't end up making people gag.

Oh that's quite alright. 1 post a day is only an ideal situation, every other day is still pretty good, all things considered.

Oh right, I forgot to mention:

Although I would appreciate 1 post a day from everyone, I'm not all that insane about that notion. More realistically, the only time I'll get fussy with posting is when somebody holds up a group for more than 3 days straight. As long as that stuff isn't happening too often, you've got nothing to worry about. However, if the situation comes up where you are far too busy to post for a prolonged period of time, please let me or Hatman know, so that we can assume control of your character temporarily. In the situation that we do this, and you don't return within a week or two, we might have to kill off your character if the situation arises. Of course, I have a 'no lame deaths' policy when it comes to killing people off, in the sense that all deaths by my ruling MUST BE BADASS AS FUCK.

At any rate, since I've become so invested in building this world, it'll take a lot for me to just start booting people left and right for being inactive. Don't take advantage of this, please.

Sorry, I was in a rush when I left earlier.

Ki acts the same, and can't even leave the physical body. In some cases, body mods can be fitted to be loaded with arcane energy, but that would be separate from your body.

You mention that body mods and Arcane don't go together, but what about a mod and Ki?

Edit: Also, do mind if I make two characters, as partners?

A/A

Arcane ammo is the primary source of firepower used in all sorts of projectile like weapons. There are several types of A/A that fit into different weapon models, but the principal is the same regardless. An arcane element is infused into the tip of a special arcanite casing, and once triggered by a secondary A/B, it detonates and travels up the reinforced barrel, producing a different effecting depending on both the ammo type, and the weapon design.

Staves

Staves are long, arcanite-infused objects that extend the length of a person's arcane network by matching their affinity. This is accomplished by loosening the physical bond of the arcanite, and coating it in wood, steel, or another stable material. These staves can be topped off with conductive elements, but it isn't necessary despite sometimes improving or changing the effect of a person's arcane magic altogether. Staves allows humans to use dangerous magic much easier, as they circumvent the need to practice safe casting, especially with elemental spells like Fire and electric conjurings.

I would like to start the in-character tomorrow, at the earliest. I'll announce when I do in the OOC, don't worry.

Edit: NOTE, Junkers/those who don't identify as Divers will start separate from the dedicated Divers.

The Divers are going to start off at the 'Diver's paradise' where a certain someone will be running through a plan to sabotage the survey initiative, with an explanation following in-character.
