Hey remember when this site didn't have 3 tabs in the IC threads? Crazy.

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

Alex Teixeira

Alex glanced at Rowena, picking at the canned fish with his thumb and index finger. "Better," Alex mumbled, already putting piece after piece of tuna in his mouth. He ate like a hobo. Too fast, too much, and with little regards for the scraps that fell onto his torn, grey suit. He'd been so eager to dress for success before this outbreak crushed his dreams, making sure to keep anything from staining his father's precious suit. But now? Who had the time to care about appearances. The suit was snug and warm. Tears along the collar and bottom edge, stains, and a few missing buttons didn't detract from that. If anything, the tear along his right side made it easier to access his handgun. "Better is optimistic, no?" He quipped with his mouth half-full. "It is a surprise that you are not traumatized, being alone with dog for so long-" Before Rowena had a chance to speak, Alex heard shouting coming from outside. The wails shattered his composure, and he dropped what little remained of his canned tuna, turning towards the front door. The blood in his legs turned to cement for a moment. Walkers? Again? Was it the same horde? Dammit, he didn't have time to go over all of this in his head, but of course, it's not like he could stop himself from going over all the gruesome possibilities that could follow. "Morto" He rasped, coughing up a small chunk of chewed Tuna.
@Aerandir *Distasteful. To hang the head usually implies some level of disappointment, shame, stress, or dread. Alex infers a lot through body language and was already particularly cautious of Jason and Rowena upon their arrival, hence his immediate dislike of Jason, and skeptical judgement of Rowena.

I have a lot of posts to read, but I'll probably write something up before I go to bed.
@Whimsley My impression was that she is still inside the krunk mobile, I think?

It's a little hazy.
This only counts for fights, obviously. I don't have to post for characters to interact.

And sometimes this rule doesn't apply, like when two people are fighting together, and have a chance to unload a lot of damage when an enemy is stunned.
@Letter Bee I should've made this clear earlier, but while fighting as a group, don't post more than once until the enemies respond. I ignored your fire-ball, as the cannon was already toppled prior.
Krunk Fortress

B stands for BOMBS!

Dr Krink Flinched, but thankfully, there were at least 80 other sets of eyes that could see just fine. Y'know, cuz the cannon was made up of little round men. A few krunklets near the base of the cannon began pushing several of their allies into the barrel, and within moments, they were launched out like little cannonballs! How? Fuck you, that's how.

"Gah!" Krink groaned, flapping his little armored hand around like a muppet. Light wasn't like dust, though. You couldn't just flap it away. Despite his idiotic attempt though, the cannon's aim was pretty good regardless. His goldem armor glimmered like a star as several krunklets flew across the field towards the intruders.

7 in total, one after another. While in midair, they spun around and released their little arms from beneath hinged-shoulder pads that melded into the contours of their armor when they retreated into their shells. Their little helmets and feet popped out too, like they were going to grab whatever they landed on. Unfortunately for them, Jenso's hammer was a little to fast and ON FIRE to grab. With three spinning strikes, he launched them back at the cannon, toppling its foundation and turning it into another mass of nothingness. The other four krunklets were sent off course by Zerraf, ending up half-buried in the ground behind them. Krink fell forwards but was re-positioned on top of the krunklet mass, ready to command a final attack as his eyesight slowly returned. He didn't wait though. While still blinded, he shouted:

"SCREW IT, KRUNKS, DROWN THEM!"

With that, the group dispersed and began rolling towards Jenso, Ainra, Alexander and Zerraf. Eleanor was out of this attacks reach, but they would surely go for her next when they had the chance.
Xena Rock Field

Under the Lone Tree

Brian gave Onweer a curt nod and spun his head towards the ATV for a moment, to check for Yvette or Kenny, or even Karida. "Sulfrax was removed from his position for reasons that Sydney has not divulged to the public. Many chalk it up to his inappropriate behavior, others say he's killed his allied scientists in the past. Whatever it was didn't trickle down the chain of command, but I do know that he returned to his home nation of Hyznia short after being discharged. That much is certain," Brian explained. "Regardless, the CMAS clearly had no more use of his knowledge or skills for project S-S. They wouldn't have the gall to kill off such a renowned Arch-mage, assuming there is some level of corruption within the head council. That would stir unrest in the government, no doubt. The CMAS are considered peace-keepers, not cold blooded murdered. I'd believed that, but if they had some hand in this whole thing... No, that's not possible. There's no way the CMAS could have manipulated Luke into attacking us if they wanted us dead. Unless they're working with him, but then why would they kill us off? It just.. Ahg!" Brian clenched his head irritably and lurched forwards.

"It doesn't make any sense! There's not enough information! If only we had contact with somebody who had a direct link with the head council, an arch-mage or a governor.." Brian looked at Cecil and sighed. "Without knowledge, we may as well be hollow puppets."

Inside of the ATV

"We will NOT be going further!" Kenny grunted, pushing Yvette aside as he made his way towards the engine. "I'll barely be able to get this thing running again, if I'm lucky!" Yvette grabbed him by the back of his collar and spun him around to face her.

"We have no choice, Kenny. As your commanding officer, my order is law. Disobeying it means imprisonment, or death. You know that," She said sternly. "We can't go back yet. Not yet."
I wasn't going to say anything, because it hasn't been a real issue yet (As she hasn't interacted with the big group much) but it's true.

Not to mention, that buck would begin rotting and become pretty much 90% inedible within 12-24 hours if not cooked, cured, and stored properly.

Hell, it should already be pretty close to rotting as it is.
I'm still inside the house, so yea.
Okay, can I have a summery of the plot so far?
