Hey remember when this site didn't have 3 tabs in the IC threads? Crazy.

I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

@Demonic Angel If they're PCs I'd be ok with it, assuming you filled out their sheets as with everyone else. I'd rather not allow any non-PC's in the control of anyone other than the GMs, personally.
I just don't bother tagging people usually.
I'll post tomorrow morning, I'm tired as fuck.
Alex Teixeira

Morning. What a dreadful reminder. Alex crinkled his eyelids as a column of sunlight struck his face relentlessly. He grunted and flung his right hand up from underneath a horrible collection of worn covers, shielding himself from the sun's brightness as every muscle in his body reflexively tensed, forcing the man into a giant carnival of morning stretches. Upon flinging his body off of the hardwood floor, Alex immediately noticed Rowena falling off of the torn sofa with a resounding thud. 'Morning' she chirped. Alex glared at her for a moment, hunched forward with his elbows prone against the blankets covering both of his knees. He nodded to her and smiled, without thinking twice about it. Where were they again? A baby giggled nearby, prompting Alex to jerk his head towards Grace's crib. The spider was still there, feasting on a small tangled mess that likely contained some unfortunate flying insect, or an unlucky termite that had fallen through the wooden ceiling. A pain shot up the left side of Alex's neck right afterwards. He pulled one hand back to subvert the pain, lurching forward as he lost his balance. In his drowsy state, he barely had time to stop his body from toppling over onto its right side. Embarrassed, and eager to maintain lucidity, Alex pushed himself up, and rose to his feet, letting the warm rays of sunlight relax his lower back muscles. "Bom Dia," Alex hummed, smacking his tongue against the roof of his mouth. It was unfathomably dry, and full of dust. That's the price he payed for sleeping on the floor. "Ehm, Good morning," he clarified, knowing that not everyone knew the Portuguese platitude he uttered moments earlier.

Working his way across the room, towards where he'd left his pack, Alex felt his joints pop like little firecrackers. It hurt, but no more than a few pin pricks. He reached into his bag, just after passing Rowena, and pulled out a can of tuna. "Bright today," He muttered, popping the can's lid. The fresh aroma of canned fish fumed far enough for anyone nearby to smell. Alex took a deep breath and sighed contently. But not everyone liked the smell of fish.
@thewizardguy sounds good. Just so you know though, I have a shrinking grace period to dissuade people from taking too long to post (unless they have not even been on the site) the first countdown is a week, shrinking to 6 days, then all the way to 24 if that person continues to hold things up. Let me know if something occupies you in advance so I know that you haven't upright vanished on us.
@Aerandir It's the internet, bottom line is, aggression breeds more aggression. You don't know if Arco has gone through the same shit you two have, if not worse shit. If they're making you upset, just PM the mods, or PM them, instead of instigating. I get the anger, but anger is the biggest catalyst for poor decisions.

@ViolentViolet Don't instigate this nonsense any further.

@Solace I'm waiting for Violentviolet to post her big ole' mega post which apparently establishes something big.
@ViolentViolet

Ok dere.
Krunk Fortress

Plan B boys!

Like a bowling ball thundering down a horribly kept lane-way (Overgrown with grass and shit), the krunklinite(?) ball tore Alexander's shield asunder, and promptly rolled over his body, leaving him imprinted in the grassy clearing with cuts in his torso outside of Krunk Fortress. Eleanor was quick to react though, striking the mass of Krunklets and Krunklites head on. The orb knocked the ball back, sending several krunklets flying away from the giant formation, unconscious or gravely injured as they sunk into the ground like shiny, rounded pebbles. Krink barely managed to keep his balance after Zerraf's wind struck him, but it seems his armor held similar magnetic properties to those of his underlings. Hell, at this point we have to assume that their armor is magical in nature, cuz science don't fuckin' work like that.

"GAH!" Krink shouted, falling into the ball of krunklets as it rolled back and to the right, nearing the massive courtyard outside of the fortress. It threatened to fall into a large, shallow pool of water (Two of which were placed outside the main entrance walkway, as if to dissuade creatures that were afraid of water from entering, or y'know.. Squirrels) but stopped inches short. Krink rose from the mass of krunklets, its shape changing to resemble a small, crude cannon, and laughed heartily. "There's more to behold!" Krink shouted, aiming his... Cannon made of Krunklets at his enemies, and firing from it... Well, krunklets. Jesus these guys were good at being absolutely insane.
@josephb Yea, I don't mind. Just be sure to PM me any plans that you've already confirmed.
@Belle I get the whole anxiety and poor self image shtick, I really do. I've gone through that shit in the past, but it'll keep getting worse if you react in a negative way.

@Aerandir You need to pull the fucking attitude back a bit, buddy. I know it's the internet, and everyone's getting heated, and blah-blah-blah but the last thing that's going to solve everything is aggressively telling somebody to shut the fuck up. Everyone's got problems, chill it out.

@josephb I can Co-GM if you'd like somebody to mediate the RP/OOC in your absence. I visit the site pretty often.
