As for races, would a human without a soul (perhaps called a "Hollow") be acceptable, will try to keep it from being edgy.

Dwarves and Lizardmen are my favorite fantasy races ever. If you are in an RP by me, expect to see them (or creatures like them such as Drabarians).
They are some of the easiest and best fantasy races to roleplay, since they have really easy and distinctive traits which are always great to see
