Night falls noisily with the hustle and bustle of the London streets. And where the Solider found nothing amiss here, save for perhaps the dodgy foods Tesco offered, not during the daylight hours at least. A few tourist traps, a fish and chip shop, and a brief meeting with the one of the lower rung members of the S.I.S. meant the day had went off without a hitch thus far. A few tours of the city, suggestions for the next stop, and places to visit by the local guides. All in all a very convincing diplomatic mission. As if Solider were simply American tourists who were being told that there is no vampire threat here, as repeated several times by the media and government. What happens at night however is merely attributed to crime, for ignorance is bliss, and the public won't miss one or two souls who fall through the cracks. As long as they believed the drug of lies they were being told, everyone was happy, and the state of the nation was preserved. Imagine the outcry and panic which would happen if one day we awoke to find ourselves in a very different nation?
A call went to Mithias, the captain here of the squad, a word from headquarters. Was it over then? or did they have something more to investigate for all they turned here was the best chipper on Kings Street. It was rather good fish and chip, served with a heavy brew offered for the sake of malt, and best of all it came with the daily news as a wrap. Then again, they did have to look the part of tourists, despite being well out of place and on the vigilant look out for activity which was not there. "Hello, um, Agent Varomere, or do you prefer Captain Varomere sir?" A slightly timid voice on the other end of the line addressed the leading vampire, "I'm Agen- Well it doesn't matter who I am I guess, we'll meet when you get back for the debriefing but HQ's assigned me as your personal, or I guess your squad's intelligence officer or um, aide or assistant. I err- Well, anyways, one of our other agents working in Japan 'overhead' a vampire mentioning a nightclub in your area, Du Lac, I believe, I'm sending the coordinates over now, um, do try and stay safe, and HQ wants me to remind your team not to cause any international incidents, Our relationship with the UK, is tenuous at best. Is there anything else you'd like me to do for you Agent Varomere?"

London held a very different kind of nightlife.
There it was on an unassuming bend, down the alley, turned the street. Tucked between, a large two-story building with a deep set basement set quietly against the backdrop of London's streets. One of the many nightclubs, pubs and whatever else could attract the nightstalkers like moths to a flame littered around London. It was amongst the many of its kind, advertised in neon to attract the wandering patron. The warm red light hummed with electric energy, pulsating to the rhythmic beats of whatever music was playing inside. Almost like a blood-filled artery. The light from below the tinted glass doors did the very same, strobing with flashes of red, whites, and yellows. It beckons your forth, mesmeric lights enticing you to take each step closer towards the door. There was no bouncer, no man at the door, only the peeking light which draws us all in.
Into the swirl of lights flashing across the bodies of strangers. Raving as they were upon the dance floor, picking up drinks and leaving off empty cups at the long bar on the far wall. The smell of alcohol, sweat, lust and delirium masque heavily by the intoxicating aromas pumped through the air by the ventilation. There it was, the scent of the dark woods, powerful and alluring, the subtle musk and fresh breeze, the umber dark sweetness of the new moon. Pale faces, dark clothes, some clad in scant articles, while others were overly fashionable and draped in the finest of this season's line. It was indeed the den of vice it was billed to be, a place where debauchery was allowed, expected even. Private booths for the business of sitting after the festivities lined either side, to the left and right, and one was certainly roped being quietly reserved. It was a place of ecstasy for those souls blackened by the desires of the flesh. The drinks flowed like the bars, and the bars dropped like ice to the bottom of the glass, the DJ and the bartenders working up the crowd on the main floor into a frenzy. And this was only the ground floor.
Venture up the twisting glass staircase to the floor above, into the other party life. For if below was pandemonium, this was nirvana and life continued on in the paradise of both. Release your inhibitions, and hang up what clothes you wish, join these strangers at the poolside, or perhaps wade into the pool itself. Yes, dive into the cool waters of the infinity pool, let it refresh you from the nausea of the party down below where the heat and passions reign. Let the blue light make you forget, the purple light make you remember, and the white light make you whole. Here the calm tranquility of relaxation and sated desires shall take their place. Mind look down beneath, through the glass floor of the pool to see those below, dancing to the music of the night like madmen, spilling their drinks unto the porous stone floors which drank it up. Know that from above one can see below, and from below they too can see above, and many bodies flitting between each realm. A nightclub designed like none other. Reminiscent of a roman bath and orgy all the same.
Come in, find yourself at home amongst the clandestine crowd. Alluring and attractive, dark seducers, chasers all of the incarnadine drinks available behind the counter. For yes, many of the visitors here were indeed creatures of the night, vampires, not only those local but a few travelling from far. For in all its glory, the London nightlife was just that, a realm for creatures which belonged to the darker half of the world by the graces of the Dark Lord of the UK. The very man who owned this place, seen as a legitimate business man by the government which he puppets, a vampire who has managed to establish an establishment for the vampires to get their fix. For the greater good it was to be done, a watering hole to save the majority of lives of the public. The rule was of course to never ask the man where his blood came from, and always assumed the blood banks had much of his coin. For in this subtle mask, never venture into the basement, the locked trapdoor beneath the counter from which the blood taps ran deep underground. For ignorance was safety, and for those brave humans enticed by this life? None of the vampires would mind if they were brought a drink, either from the bar, or fresh...
Welcome to Du Lac.
Do you feel the eyes staring at you? Or the fangs thirsting for you?
@The Grey Dust I'm sure people can fit any last replies in as a quick beginning to their next post. But sure, I won't make us play out wandering around London etc., unless you were planning on having us make any important discoveries. You may go ahead and get to the evening. How exactly do we wind up at a nightclub?
Well, the important discoveries will be done by HQ. There's not much vampire activity in the daytime usually, due to illusionary veil drawn. Plus Solider is known to be in the area on the underground channels, so the vampires are on alert. That being said, you guys will receive a tip from HQ to check out the nightclub...
@Wraithblade6 Is it night fall yet? Or should I give everyone another round of posting before I switch the time zone. I'll mention a tip off probably from Solider intel.
In the original compact (or at least the first one I was in) there were three faction. SOLDIER,vampires and the purge. The purge are like nazis essentially they wanted to kill the vampires and would kill anyone else in their way.
Speaking of the purge, they attacked a SOLDIER base at kilo point during the old war (just gonna call it that from now on) they slaughtered all soldiers on ththe base at the time- except one. They didn't kill Katya. (That's not me being like my characters the best and all that jazz. She genuinely survived so that the purge could toy with her) the purge helped SOLDIER win the war as we were close to losing.
I'm assuming Magnus was killed by the purge leader but for the life of me can't remember.
Mithias is one of the few 'nice' vampires (or was I am not jumping to that conclusion yet)
Bedivere I know very little about and that's about everything I know
Nope. Bedivere Killed Magnus. Just marched up to him as he stood upon a hill having fled the final battle, knocked him down, impaled him with a battle standard, crushed his male bits, taunted him, and finally lopped his head off such that it would roll down the hill into a pool of mud.
Loose posting order. Just make it logical, and it'll be fine. Although I've had experiences where roleplayers JUMPED AROUND everywhere by not following a pseudo-logical posting order and trying to be part of every action happening.
