The highest, most decisive experience is to be alone with one's own self. You must be alone to find out what supports you, when you find that you can not support yourself.

The core of an individual is the mystery of life, which dies when it is 'grasped'. That is also why symbols want to keep their secrets.

Bio

The Harbinger of Ferocity

Agent of the Wild, Aspect of the Ferine
Nature, red in tooth and claw.

"There is, indeed, no single quality of the cat that man could not emulate to his advantage."
- Carl Van Vechten

I am, at my core, a personification and manifestation of those things whose blood and hearts run red with the ferocity of the animal world. It is this which convicts and controls my works, my writing, my being; the force and guidance in which I gain wisdom from. It is what inspires me as a creator and weaver of words, the very thing I admire as an author.

My leanings, savage as they are, are of the feline sort as there exists no greater lineage of beasts whom can be drawn from. No others captivate and motivate my talent and skill as the greatest of cats do.

I am certain you will be just fine - you've seen some of the people that pass these "difficult" sort of examinations, I am sure.
Fifth Edition is well made, but it lacks support and it is not exactly going anywhere quickly. It certainly plays more smoothly, but it just lacks the options of Third Edition. Fourth Edition is more balanced than any but certainly does not play like what one expects it to. Our group switches between Third and Fifth, given there's elements of each we enjoy and it depends on the setting; E6 works wonderfully as a variant of Third Edition.
@Zero Hex

I believe this may have been the link @IcePezz was referring to.
@Crimson Raven
Magic is well, magic, but Third Edition is pretty well known for magic being absurdly good, perhaps only eclipsed by certain combinations of psionics. @vietmyke couldn't have said it better.

Wizards, how I loathe thee.
I only visit now, sadly, but everything I learned in times past I still can use. They're not my felines, but they've already adopted me into their world, even when I do briefly see them. Only a few more years until I can return to that life.

As for you, @Carantathraiel, you almost make that sound like it is a bad thing.
The ambush is the favored tact of any feline, but tigers have a particular pleasure in it. They could easily be your closest of friends one moment, and then the next the hunt is on. Either way, it is all worth it - not hard to prevent once you learn the essentials, hah.
They are very much all or nothing indeed, @Zero Hex. Either it is something you want to, and should grapple, because it eliminates a powerful threat that's not physically able, or... something that you should absolutely never try to grapple as a player character. For some reason players believe it a wise idea to attempt to grapple a lion, giant centipede or even a dragon, but are staggered that somehow grappling the evil cult's priest who is old and feeble is a viable, potent tactic.

Then suddenly everything is casting Freedom of Movement. Strange how that ends up regardless of what side of the table one is on.
Not specific at all, but the sudden change in demeanor and the apparent inability of most people to read feline body language would likely result in a lot of them getting killed if it were not for the fence. That or turning their back, which the tiger is exceedingly partial to becoming aggressive toward. He becomes, from one moment, tolerant and perhaps even social, to crouching and quickly stalking - getting as close as he can manage to his fence line and nearly pressing his muzzle to the metal or ports.
I am unaware, but I do feel quite privileged to have the interaction with them that I do, even at distance. One of the more amusing things is to watch how they interact with anyone else that comes near the enclosures. There's surprising variance in who they're willing to even come near, or be friendly with, let alone speak to.
For as large and deadly as they are, they remain surprisingly amicable... provided one minds their manners. I only visit them on their schedule, as an example - right before feeding time when they are most receptive and willing to interact. Once fed it becomes nap time for the rest of the day, after all.
@vietmyke, most every unarmed grappler that was not a monk I have seen do the same luchador tactic to astounding effect. Perhaps just calling your character a luchador, wearing the mask, and being a barbarian and or fighter gives it some mystic power over dice and story.
