The highest, most decisive experience is to be alone with one's own self. You must be alone to find out what supports you, when you find that you can not support yourself.

The core of an individual is the mystery of life, which dies when it is 'grasped'. That is also why symbols want to keep their secrets.

Bio

The Harbinger of Ferocity

Agent of the Wild, Aspect of the Ferine
Nature, red in tooth and claw.

"There is, indeed, no single quality of the cat that man could not emulate to his advantage."
- Carl Van Vechten

I am, at my core, a personification and manifestation of those things whose blood and hearts run red with the ferocity of the animal world. It is this which convicts and controls my works, my writing, my being; the force and guidance in which I gain wisdom from. It is what inspires me as a creator and weaver of words, the very thing I admire as an author.

My leanings, savage as they are, are of the feline sort as there exists no greater lineage of beasts whom can be drawn from. No others captivate and motivate my talent and skill as the greatest of cats do.

Hello once more, @Blizz.
I can understand your matter of wanting less elaborate posts - I do not hold it against you. To answer your question however, given the weapon Keris is using, a two-handed longspear, she receives one and one-half times her Strength modifier to its damage, which from the bonus of +4 is how she managed the +6 to damage. At first I did not believe one could do that, as I have only see martial and exotic weapons used that way, but there is in fact nothing stopping her from doing so. It is a clever tactic I will try to make use of in the future for some of my characters, using simple weapons like that.

For combat most of my replies will be more "to the point" because I do not exactly want to call shots or make out events that otherwise are not going on. So in that regard I certainly do understand, @ELGainsborough.
@Athinar, a day had elapsed since that post and it was seven days since the last post involved any of the three of us, between us. That is not including the reply I had been expecting previously and I understand holidays make it difficult, but there are few options.

I am not going to reduce this to a fight and argument, but that is my rationale. If you have more to say, please do contact me.
This office smells of pine trees, cats and Christmas ornaments. I believe success has been achieved.
@TheMadAsshatter, while I have felt sensations of "falling", they almost always occur when in the process of losing conscious. The only exception is "surfacing" or feeling like gravity has briefly changed when waking up. All the rest? Short of sounds, I have never experienced that. This said, the ringing has happened before, even to the point of being painful.
@Mag Lev, I apologize my reply is so short, but I am far and away from a regular computer and we need to keep this story's momentum going.
The wayward huntress' lips neither curled into a smug smile at the silence nor did they show much of any reaction at all, her tongue clearly held in the quiet. The keenness of her good eye swept from the larger man to his seeming cohorts then back, lingering on the draconic being for an unsettlingly added moment. The men shifted slightly in discomfort, easing their weapons and withdrawing them wholly but at a slow, unsure pace.

"Thank you," At last her brutal figure reacted, the touch of what could only be a "smile" at the edge of her lips, "I will take it then that I am free to see this man."

"If you have need of me I am not difficult to find."

She blinked in a way almost surreal with calm; at no point did this thing play its hand. Whatever her game was, events like these were not new. With such a note hanging in the still undisturbed air, she walked between them - guardsmen parting to each side, instigating boy of a man included. They watched, puzzled, but then turned back their attention once more to their superior and the dragonkind. At a loss what to do, having seemingly let one of the "enemy" in with almost no challenge, they kept their focus away from him.

Sakaala, in the meanwhile, tread step by steady step into the town, but she did not get far before two men upon horseback intercepted her. One, a dwarf upon a steadfast pony and the other a man on an actual steed, hurried in across the earthy path. The three met, the crowds having wisely parted at the towering, animal figure in their midst and now the onset of falling, clattering hooves. The horses snorted and whined, uncomfortable at the mere sight of what seemed to be a her but obeying their masters as they had been so trained to.

The activity of the town, more than ever in light of the days to come, made things even more chaotic all as what appeared to be another confrontation was to arise...

@Mag Lev
@TheMadAsshatter, you are perfectly welcome to store recountings of your dreams here as a sort of dream journal. Mind you they will be able to be read by anyone, so do not share anything you do not feel comfortable with. If you are fairly open about it, I just ask that you maintain it at a mature or reasonably inoffensive manner.

Most people, from what I have gathered, experience similar issues with performing actions in dreams or feeling a sense of success or advancement. A lot talk about the "infinite hallway where you run forever" as an example, but fending off something is another distinct one too. I personally believe the complexity of an action, even if well defined in reality, is made more vulnerable in a dream - as with having to use both hands to pull a trigger; as though the more moving parts or changes it causes in reality are just amplified and multiplied in the oddness of a dream. I've heard you can learn to perform them better by trying with repetition in dreams or even just on a daydreaming level of thinking on them, but I myself have not had an issue with carrying out an intended action so it is a bit foreign to me there.
@Athinar, given @dragonmancer has still yet to post, I am proceeding regardless by tomorrow and no later. We are tarrying far too long for the health of a roleplay.
Rambling without providing apparent constructiveness is, in its own way, very much in vein of the way dreams are, @Vor. Regardless, they were interesting stories and seem to have a fairly notable impact on you than a good number of people - it was not until more recently I myself started to ask questions of "Do my dreams fuel my perceptions?" or "Do my perceptions fuel my dreams?" Not exclusively I mean, they're a bit of give and take, but in general. While mostly in relation to the bad dreams, it has a lot more interesting and deeper implications with the good or decent dreams, especially as more and more lucidity gets involved.

Not that I am an expert, but from my own experience with tooth related dreams - one of the few "dreams everyone supposedly has" that I share, as for example I have not had a falling or flying dream - mine are pretty firmly rooted in my aforementioned insecurities around people. I am no stranger in needing to blend in, but it wounds me on a much deeper level when I cannot be my own persona and identity. Mine changes by each time, but yours sounds like it might be more related to something you encountered or thought you did in youth, that's my guess.

To answer your question, I dream in color and very rarely can recall voices or sounds. In the dream they are present, but I am not able to recall what is said, instead only the gist of their meaning or intent. I could paraphrase it, but it is far more startling if and when I can remember words. The color tends to be foggy or misty, with distances being hard to determine.
