Current Need info, so might as well throw a bottled question into the ocean of statuses... What are some features/ideas/etc. that YOU want to see in a monster taming/raising game? All genuine ideas welcome.

@Dane, I need you to talk to a physicist and a psychiatrist, in that order, twice.

"The worst thing you can do to a character is to make them aware that they're fictional." Ironically, the character who would say this is from an RP I'm not in anymore... Funny, that.

Just like in JJK, explaining the joke makes it funnier. Luckily that's built into this one.

Jimbo that's not right. Humans are a social creature, there's not a single one who can truly survive on their own. Even those who seem to be able can only do so because they learned from others.

I see. Is that its usual function, or does it depend?

It depends. That's a common one, though.

<Snipped quote by The World>

Suzy: *Lands on my feet, looking excited.* Definitely!
*Keeps throwing punches and landing on my feet when you throw me until something happens or I manage to land a hit.*

Jack: *Starts jabbing you with my other hand during the throw* Get angry, or happy, or excited. Feel something strongly.
<Snipped quote by The World>

*Chuckles*
Not yet.

Crown chakra could potentially let you fly, as an example.

<Snipped quote by The World>

Suzy: *Sucker punches you without warning.*
Will that work, or do I need to do something different.

Jack: *Catches your fist and throws you over my shoulder without looking* Again.
<Snipped quote by The World>

Suzy: *Laughs.* I don't mind a challenge. To quote my sister, "The easy thing to do isn't always the best thing to do."

Jack: Slow way it is then. Hit me.

<Snipped quote by The World>

Do you perhaps have an example?

Are you able to fly?

Shion continued on her way to the next store, passing by a shop selling Gekota merchandise.

"..."

Suddenly, it was as if the pull of gravity shifted as she got several feet past the shop. She was pulled backwards by an invisible force, looking as if someone had grabbed the back of her shirt's collar and dragged her back. She finally skidded to a stop in front of a limited edition phone case. Surely, with all the money she recently got, she could afford to get it and still take the kids to the theme park? Her eyes skimmed over all of the visible merch from outside the store, mentally noting the prices. ¥5000!? Her head hung in disappointment. There was no way she could justify that for a phone case, especially since she didn't have an actual phone. Still, she couldn't bring herself to leave, so she went inside to look around.

I see. And how are these chakras used?

Each is used to influence what they govern. For example, the Crown chakra is incredibly useful to ascending your being to a higher plane. Again, what that actually means differs, but it's usually very helpful in general. Balancing and utilizing these chakra points allow for intense improvement of the body and mind.
<Snipped quote by The World>

I don't recall the number seven, but I suppose.

Lecture time~

Chakras, by definition, are energy centers within the human body that help to regulate all its processes, from organ function to to the immune system and emotions. Seven chakras are positioned throughout your body, from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. Each chakra has its own vibrational frequency, color, and governs specific functions that help make you human.

Before we define chakras and explore the meaning of each, it is essential to understand one thing: You are energy. All living things are created by and comprised of energy.The ability of your energy centers to function optimally is what keeps you psychologically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually balanced, at least for those with chakras. This is a very human-esque view of them, which is fine since it's almost always humans who have chakras, it's rare for other species.

When exploring the chakras, it’s best to start at the beginning. There's seven chakra points in the body, the first is the "Root" chakra, located at the base of the spine. It's associated with the color red and governs survival instincts and grounding in the world. The second is the "Sacral" chakra, which is orange and at the lower abdomen. It governs sexuality, intuition, and self-worth and self-esteem. Third is the "Solar Plexus" chakra. It's yellow and in the upper abdomen, it governs impulse control and ego. The fourth is the "Heart" chakra at the center of the chest, it's green and is related to compassion and spirituality. Then there's the "Throat" chakra in the throat, which is blue and relates to communication and emotion. Sixth is the "Third Eye" chakra between the eyes, which is purple and governs rationality, wisdom, and imagination. Lastly there's the "Crown" chakra at the top of the head which is indigo and is connected to the "divine", though what that actually means differs from person to person.
<Snipped quote by The World>

How about the counterpart to this one that you mentioned?

The seven chakras?
<Snipped quote by The World>

Alright. Sounds good by me.

Which would you like to do next?
<Snipped quote by The World>

How wonderful. What should I focus my efforts on?

Learning jutsu to fit any situation would probably be a good bet, but if you want we can move on to the other two imaginary energies you have. They'll synergize well with what you can do now.

<Snipped quote by The World>

Suzy: How come?

Jack: If it pools in a limb, you have something that moves to start out with. Pooling in the center means it's stationary, so you can't really use the simple method.
<Snipped quote by The World>

*Looks into the distance*

*You see more of the forest*

<Snipped quote by The World>

Suzy: *It takes a while, but I eventually find it.* I think it's pooling in my chest, opposite my heart...

Jack: I don't know why it would be pooling in your soul, but alright. That's less helpful than you would think.
