Oh and also, as an aside note, the Death Troopers are supposed to be major threats. You can fight and defeat them, but don't expect it to be easy to do. Especially when they have some information on how you work.

Not that those fire bombs were placed specifically for Tristan, but the Death Troopers like to use fire because they're practically immune to it's effects. Turns out that's bad news for someone who relies on shadows.

Maybe, it depends on the strain. As a general guide:

small injection: thrall/unaffected
Medium Injection: Ghoul/unaffected
Full Injection: Newblood

Of course it all depends on your vampire's specific abilities and strain. So it might well be that your blood is particularly good at ghoulifying people. But if Hank has been ghoulified, then that means he no longer possesses any free will, and is either slaved to your will or is a mindless killing machine.
Col. Purple, Valk Rooftops -

Purple sighed as she was lifted off of the ground. She was indeed quite small when compared to the tall brute. It seemed that there really was nothing more to this man. An angry brute, down to the core. Why he wanted her rifle she didn't know, but it was probably just some pointless show of strength. Why a person so undisciplined had been allowed to work with this army she didn't know. No matter how strong he was if he couldn't be controlled he was nothing more than a nuisance. "Going around making demands like this. I suppose I didn't expect much more, but I'm still disappointed. With all the tales I had been told, I really did expect more of the oldbloods. But it appears that with age does not come wisdom." Disappointed, she flicked a switch on her belt.

With a flash of light the entire rooftop was suddenly illuminated, before it was consumed by a wall of flames. High-powered incendiary grenades had been prepared around the rooftop, ready to burn up anything and everyone present. Of course, the cutting-edge Scarab Armour would protect Purple from both the heat and the shrapnel, in addition to making her utterly nonflammable. An advantage Tristan sorely lacked. With that much light there was no hope of Tristan teleporting off the roof, not that his range could have brought him out of the explosion to begin with. While harmless to Purple the explosion of flames was enough to instantly incinerate any normal newblood, and even with his impressive durability and regeneration she doubted Tristan would get off easily.

Dropping to the ground in the smoke and sound she instantly rolled to her feet, discarding the rifle as two blades popped out of her wrists. Each was designed to be capable of slicing through combat armour, and would have no trouble removing Tristan's limbs from his body. Augmenting her hearing with her suit's functions she had no trouble locating her prey even when vision was obscured. "Come on. I know that didn't kill you." Shooting forward Purple wove through the debris like a graceful leapord, the dampeners on her feet rendering her steps nearly completely silent. Even a vampire's hearing would not be able to locate her, while Tristan himself was obvious as could be. "If all you respect is power, allow me to teach you some respect." Getting in close and low she sliced away at Tristan, aiming to deal as much damage to his limbs as possible while taking advantage of any disorientation he might be feeling after the explosion. Her movements were fast and precise, her skill apparent in every perfectly timed swing. Even if she wasn't as fast or strong as the other vampire, she had been trained practically since birth in the art of war. Her sheer skill would be hard to match even unwounded.

Most simply bite their victims, draining their blood while transplanting it with vampiric blood. This transplant will then start the transformation process, which usually takes about an hour to complete.

Of course, other strains may do it differently. And certain vampire strains have been known to use small amounts of vampire blood to turn humans into their 'thralls'. Other vampires possess ways to create hybrid servants, and in one case a vampire created a ghoul-ifying virus.

So yeah, there's definitely the possibility of ghouls.
@TheWindel
Fair enough. But then again, apparently they're planning to go over 1000 characters, which I find is usually 'over-enthusiastic'.

Hmm? Trapped in collabs? Seems to me like a good collab should only take a day at most, usually a few hours.

But oh well. We can do it the old-fashioned way as well.

Ah, it seemed that Tristan had arrived. Barely moving an inch, Purple glanced upwards. It was impressive that he'd been able to find her so quickly. Of course, nobody knew what Tristan's actual abilities were aside from the obvious. So perhaps it was one of his abilities that had allowed him to detect her. A matter worthy of curiosity, but little more.

"Unfortunate." Purple glanced back at her work, not even standing up to meet Tristan. "Threatening an officer in Magnus' army? I would have hoped you were smarter than that." Her voice was deadpan, monotone even, as if she were completely uninterested in what she said. Beneath her visor and featureless armour it was impossible to tell what her expression might be, but one could guess it was equally bland. Lying there she barely moved, only slightly adjusting the barrel of her gun to follow the action on the ground. "If you intend to fight me, then please kill yourself for convenience's sake. It would save me the trouble."

All in all, Tristan was given hardly any attention at all. It seemed Purple was unimpressed with his antics.

It was originally intended to be a solid wall, but I now retroactively amend it to a set of bars in order to make more sense with the narrative.

Speaking of collab, you wanna finish the Khaine vs Titanica fight in collab? Might be faster than just back-and-forth posts.
Khaine, Oblivion Depths -

As the creature emerged from the shadows of the dungeon Khaine scanned it for weaknesses. It was certainly an odd creature, and yet... an odd combination of fleshy pink human and hardened reptilian scales. As if one had attempted to change into the other, but been halted halfway through. Perhaps this creature had once been human? But more stunning was the resemblance to Diana, his new and confused companion. Were the two in some way related to one another? If so, then did this creature attack because of Diana's presence? Whatever the reason, it did not appear to be friendlier towards Diana than to the rest of them, so Khaine's purpose remained the same. He would confront the beast now, and ask questions later, assuming he survived the experience.

A blast of blue flame erupted from the beast's mouth, sweeping from side to side in order to annihilate his self-made battlefield. Even as Khiane prepared to move himself out of the path of the beam a massive wall of golden light sprung up in front of him and his chains, blocking the beam. To block an attack like that... that required an impressive amount of power. Hmph. It seemed he fought an opponent who understood strategy, more than the raging beast it resembled. Even if it did not understand the point of the chains it had understood that his alteration to the battlefield offered him an advantage, and then sought to remove that advantage. He could not rely on Diana if the beast attempted that again, he doubted Diana herself could hold off such a powerful beast for long anyway. He would need to go on the offensive to keep it off-balance. Even if it's power was stunning, it's speed seemed unimpressive. So as long as he was able to evade it's attacks he should be able to pepper it with lesser blows. Not enough to kill it, perhaps not even enough to harm it, but hopefully enough to keep it's attention.

Black chains wrapped around Khaine's body pulled taught as he was pulled into the air. Pulling back they launched him up with a bang, as Khaine used the other chains to reorient himself. Lacking the ability to fly, he would simply pull himself upwards, and claim the high ground for himself. And even as he soared over the battlefield he once more called upon his powers to launch himself downward. Red light engulfed him as he rapidly accelerated towards his target, a massive lance forming in his arm. The weapon extended forwards two whole meters and was composed entirely of Black Steel. In front of the hilt it spread out, forming a curved shield that covered the entire front of his body, protecting him from counterattack as he charged his target. But such an attack was useless without proper setup.

Like metal snakes the chains leaped from the ground and slammed into position, wrapping around Titanica's legs and arms. A whole web of chains shifted and twisted as the portals changed position. Like a spider trapped in a web she would be held in place. And even if she broke free of the chains, which was undoubtedly within her abilities, it would take less than a second for Khaine to connect his opening blow, the attack he would use to get the beast's attention.

Like a two-ton bullet Khaine rocketed through the air. A small train aimed to slam into it's target at faster than the speed of sound. It was a formidable attack, if it connected. An impact force of approximately 500 tons would rip through even the heaviest of armoured tanks, and had slain more than one angelic powerhouse. Hopefully the sheer speed of the attack would allow it to connect, but even if it didn't at least the power behind it would surely attract the creature's attention.

There are no participation trophies in war. Only set-people-on-fire trophies.
