One thing that can be said about Rylond is that he is a driven individual who cares about his family. Even at times, he does not show it and is one that can act friendly and be nice to people. But, during his time at Vira-Legat Bioengineering, he has also shown to be ruthless in his drive and not care about the costs of his mother's dream. Which means a lot to him after his mother's death, and he seeks to do right by his family. Despite his drive, Rylond still finds time for the little things and does make some friends throughout his life. Though his drive has waned as the years passed and the true costs of his mother's dream weighted on him. Realizing that he can no longer do this, he seeks to make amends for his time at Vira-Legat. To ease his conscience and seeks to start anew somewhere else.

History
Rylond had always wanted to do right with his family. Born the eldest son to a researcher and government official and in New Pretoria on Callisto. Rylond's life growing up was a happy one considering the state of affairs in the solar system and despite the commitment of his parents's professions, and he would grow close to his mother. His mother, Sarette Marais, a talented and well-known scientist who worked for Vira-Legat Bioengineering. Sarette had a dream where, through her work, humanity could be something more than what they are now. A dream that she would share with Rylond.

However, while it is still unknown what caused the accident at her lab that killed her and destroyed much of her research, his mother's death affected Rylond greatly. But sometime after her death, he gained a newfound goal of continuing what his mother started and fulfilling her dream of making a better humanity no matter the cost. So, with his father's backing, Rylond attended a prestigious university on Mars after years of hard work. He would earn his doctorate and either through his hard work or perhaps by being the son of a well-known employee or both. He applied and was accepted to work at Vira-Legat Bioengineering and eagerly continuing his mother's work.

For years, he worked diligently. At first, he did not expect the level of zero ethics, but this did not bother him later on as it meant there was no limit to his research. Which pleased him, and he worked hard.

Soon, he was transferred to the Kepler Space Station to continue his research there, and Rylond was eager to work at the most advanced nations in the system. But after four years on the station, things started to change for Rylond. For after years of research and experiments and seeing the true costs of fulfilling his mother's dream. Did Rylond start having doubts about what he was doing and if it meant sacrificing what was left of his humanity to do so. He had done many bad things in his quest, and the costs were catching up to him to what remained of his conscience.

Now, Rylond is considering quitting Vira-Legat and leaving the station. However, he knows that will be hard, given how Vira-Legat would not be willing to give him up so easily and how far they are from the rest of the colonies. But one thing is sure, he can not see himself doing more vile things in the name of his mother's dream and seeks a new path for himself. One where he could make amends for his actions and start anew. But for now, he stays on Kepler and plans on how to leave the station and quit Vira-Legat for good.

Okay, so I will go with Obsidian magic, and the main reason I suggest some kind of summoner magic since Legion magic is a thing I saw on the wiki. Though that is more chess pieces, and now that I think about it, it's a bit strong, so yeah, Obsidian magic for me. And for the exiled bit, I just wanted a reason why a Hino noble is living in Clover. But either way, expect a cs soon.

Interested, and I have only two ideas so far. A Vira-Legat scientist with a change in heart or or maybe a Vira-Legat clone that works on the station.

Late to the party and if it is a good time to join. For a character, how does the son or grandson of an exiled Hino noble sound? Though I am still thinking about their magic, either Moon magic or some kind of summoner magic, if that works, or maybe Obsidian magic.

So this is Lisbon, Intan thought as they got off the bus. It sure was a busy place, given it was the capital of Portugal, after all. The only problem he sees is that he will stick out like a sore blue thumb. The downside of being an oni outside of East Asia is that his kind is rare outside of it, so he will have to endure people staring at him yet again. If they care that much about seeing a clear newcomer to their city.

Still, he is with his team and it seems that some of them know each other. So that will help with working together and a less chance of someone screwing over the team. Being a shadowrunner is a rough job, you do not last long with a team or knowing who to trust.

Intan was looking around for their new team member when he showed up and spoke to the group. A priest? Intan thought to himself. That is a new one for them that he will be working with. Granted, he used to be a healer at a street clinic before becoming a shadowrunner so Intan was sure that Chercheur had a good reason for turning to the shadows.

But, now that that team was finally together, it was time to plan their next move. Though based on Chercheur's intel about the two gangs, they have to deal with. It would make getting friendly with either of them a challenge.

"So Chercheur, since you have been in the city before us, do you have any ideas of how to proceed? Since it sounds like we have our work cut out for us with these gangs." Then, speaking to the group, "otherwise, I suggest we head to the district to see how bad it is and try to figure out which gang to get friendly with so we can find out where Abigail is and if anyone has seen her."

So to better help with what kind of background or skills your character may have. I have added some info to the OOC about the group and I think I will wait for a time before launching the rp since we have the bare minimum to start.
