Sofia was looking at her enchanted map when she heard a Scottish accent talking to her, and looked up to the source of the voice. Quickly finding the man, she had a small smile on her face. "Oh hello there," she put away her map and walked up to the man.

"Hey Heath, I am Sofia and I was just exploring camp after checking out my cabin." Is that a Scottish accent? Sofia wondered in her head. It sounds like one, and he must also be a long way from home in that case, like she was. Then again, since they are in Greece, maybe that is the case for most people here. Still, she would not bring that up for now and focused on the fact that he was not a new camper.

"I think I got most of the places here down." Sounding sure of herself despite still being new to camp. "Well, at least the main places like the arena. Though that one is hard to miss, but thanks for the offer." She chuckled at the thought of the arena. Since it was the biggest building here by far, it looks like it can hold everyone in camp. At least based on looking at it from the outside.

"But, since you are here and have been here a while.... Do you mind answering some questions I have about camp?" She said with a wondering tone, with a curious smile on her face. Sofia had plenty of questions about this place that her exploration could not answer. However, she was still hesitant to say what her godly parent was, and if Heath or some old resident camp were to ask her. Right now, she does not know what she would say, but it is something on her mind and has to come out eventually.

Blind in a New Fight

Despite being busy fighting these risen walkers with his fists. A task that was doing somewhat decent, as these risen are not strong or fast. But slow and fragile. He did notice the group's fight with the bird creature. It seemingly was slain, but was it really dead? Considering it could give these corpses some unnatural life, and he knows nothing of this world. He will let the others they have meet, Baldr, Meko, and the shaman, to confirm if this beast is truly dead.

Still, the risen are a problem, even if the bird beast is dead. They still are around and rising up. So he focused his efforts on killing the last of these risen.

But when the woman who unintentionally summoned the bird beast to them asked him about his blades. He remembers how Meko said about using fists or timber, and his swords are neither. But, they said that about the bird beast, and maybe he can use his swords on the risen. If not, then he can just simply return to his fists.

He paused a bit to think, and while risen were still coming. He made his choice and brought out his swords. "Fine," He said in a slightly annoyed tone. "I hope that these blades will hurt these risen so I do not have to resort to using fists or timber."

But before he could see for himself if these blades are useful in this instance. He turned to see the same woman trip and fall with a risen tackling them. Not wishing for her to die to a risen. He made his way over to her and saw her launch a bright light at the face of the risen.

Not knowing if it was a killing blow or not, he still made his way over to see if his blades were needed to dispatch this risen that was near her.

Well, I could do a packless werewolf since that was one of my ideas for a character for this. Just may need to think a bit about the backstory. Like maybe being one of the few survivors of his pack, he is now trying to figure out who destroyed his pack and why. Or maybe something else I need to think.

It took some time for Sofia to reach her chosen cabin. Number twenty-seven, and she did not know what to expect. She just hoped the cabin was good, and since it was close to the lake, if she wanted to swim, which she will probably do. It would be nice to be as close to the lake as possible, so she would not have to walk that far. Sofia looked around at the winter wonderland around her as the snow kept falling. She is not obviously going to swim, not now, but Sofia has done a polar bear plunge. She did one last winter for charity, despite the freezing cold water. It was for a good cause, despite all of her shivering after getting out of the water.

But she had a smile on her face about doing one only with the campers here, if anyone wants to, and it is New Year's Eve. Maybe Leo would try with her since he seems like a nice guy, and she thinks a son of Ares would not be afraid of some cold water.

But when he finally reached her cabin, Sofia was greeted by a view of a nicely put-together wood cabin. Like something she would have picked out for herself, and was happy at the sight. Even if the pouch, outside chairs, and table were covered in snow.

Now Sofia was curious if the inside is as good as the outside, and without a second thought. She headed inside to check it out. Once she opened the front door and stepped inside, she closed the door behind her so that no snow could enter.

Inside, she was greeted by surprisingly warm air. She quickly looked around for a light switch, turned it on, and was impressed by her new cabin. So the camp has good cabins after all. She exclaimed and as he looked, the tile flooring, the wooden kitchen cabinets, oven, coffee machine, red carpet with red couches, a real fireplace, and a tv. That was just what she could see in the entranceway, and she could see that there was a second floor.

So with amazed glee, Sofia explored her cabin, and by the time she reached the bedroom, which was a nice white double bed. Which prompted Sofia to semi-jump on and lie down on her back. She felt comfortable in the bed and knew she would at least be sleeping comfortably here if the camp hated her for being a Hades kid.

That thought appeared in her mind, and despite the discomfort it brought. She knew she had to face it sooner or later since the subject will probably come up and she kinda just wants to get it over with, just to see how people will treat her here. At least Leo will be on her side, she knows that much.

She signed and, after spending a few moments in bed, reflecting on things. She got out of bed and proceeded to leave the cabin. With her cabin explored, Sofia feeling satisfied with her new cabin. Which she is very glad that she managed to get it before someone else did. Sofia then decided to explore the rest of the camp and ventured out of her cabin. She took out her enchanted map and started walking around. Maybe she will meet a new camper, or maybe one of the current ones, but either way. This is her first step into the world of demi-gods and fantasy turned real. Better make this new life a happy one if the camp accepts her and she can be at peace here. That is her thought, and one she is sticking to for now. But for now, exploring the camp is and getting used to it, it is.
If there is still room, how does a rogue Fae who is slightly or half mad since he broke an oath and was cast out and now wants revenge on the fae or someone that he made the oath with sound? Since my char realized he was betrayed, and rather than continue the oath. He broke it and now seeks vengeance.

Leo was busy walking to his cabin, ignoring the falling white snow and the sound of crunching snow with the map in tow. Cabin forty was the spot he had chosen for his new home away from home. A spot that, while off the beaten path, is close to the woods and seems like a good spot where he can relax and meditate if he wishes. Considering he is an Ares kid, people may not expect him to be a person who likes to meditate. But it helps with controlling his emotions, and he finds it is therapeutic. Though he wonders how the cabin will be and if it is good or not.

This train of thought would end as a stranger walked up next to him, introduced himself, and gave him a firm handshake. Leo was again somewhat surprised since he did not expect someone to talk to him this soon after getting into camp, and he give a handshake back. It was not as firm as Duke's. "Oh hey, I am Leo and it is nice to meet you, Duke." Either he needs to be more aware of things, or people today are just surprising him more than he would like.

"Long, the trip was long man." Leo sighed and emphasized the first word. "I am from the States, and I am just glad I finally got here after all of that traveling and walking." He sounded relieved, though not looking, he was tired, mentally, but not physically tired at least.

"I get this is a place for demigods, but could they have made it a bit earlier to get to?" Leo realized he sounded like he was complaining and did not want to be seen like this on his first day. That and he was not tired after trekking who knows how long in the woods. Being fit helps with that, and perhaps being a child of Ares does too.

So changing the subject, "I did not see you with the rest of the new campers, so I take it you are a resident, and what is life like here anyway?" Sounding curious, Leo had several questions, but he is taking it slow for now. "Nothing boring or anything?" Though now remembering what Sofia said about a tortured camper, Leo wished he had not stepped on any toes by asking that.

So Leo knew that this would be a long trip and did not know what to expect. Especially the camp being in Greece, having to deal with all this snow on the way, and essentially trekking all the way there. That was something no one thought to tell him, though maybe that was a thing with being a child or Ares. Making him into a proper warrior or something like that by doing all of this. Leo would feel that familiar sense of annoyance and bitterness. The last thing he needs is a warrior talk or prep by his father after all this time. But then Leo remembers why he is coming here, not for him but for her, his mother. Leo deeply breathed in and out at the thought. All he wants is not to have to deal with his father while at camp.

As he was looking ahead and thinking more about this. He was lost in his head and did not hear the sounds of footsteps behind, and an unexpected "hello," took him by surprise.

Leo quickly turned to his right, the source of the sound, and found a young white haired woman next to him. Though surprised, Leo still kept his cool somewhat and sounded annoyed. "Do you have to sneak up on me like that?"

The whited haired woman simply replied. "Well, I was trying to get your attention earlier, but you were not saying anything, so I thought about doing it close up." Sofia had a forgiving smile on her face. "I was not trying to scare you or anything."

Leo then turned his head back behind him and slowly then back to Sofia and sighed. " Then that is my fault for being in my head that deep that I could not hear you. Sorry." Leo's attempt at an apology.

"It is fine, no harm done, and I bet people here do have some thoughts to think about." Sofia, look at Leo in his eyes. "People like us, I mean."

Leo quickly realized what she meant since who else would be coming down this way. "Demigods, you mean."

"Yep," she quickly replied and took a moment to speak. "First time coming here and first time meeting a fellow demigod." She put her hand out to him. "I am Sofia."

Leo shook with a firm grip, "I am Leo, and yeah, this is my first time here and meeting someone like me." Leo gave a short nod, "it is nice and being able to talk to people like us. Besides having to walk all this way."

Sofia gave a smile, "Yeah, that does sound nice, and yeah, I would have liked it better if it was not snowing." Her smile turned into an uneasy frown.

Leo looked a bit concerned, "What is the matter? Something about camp or something?"

Sofia took a moment to say something and sounded worried. "Well, while I would normally be the opposite of this, it is mainly about my father. Hades, as I was told... has not done good things to demigods like the ones at camp." Sofia looked ahead and then back at Leo. "So I am a bit worried about how the camp will treat me, with me being a daughter of Hades."

Leo sounded concerned and looked at Sofia with worried eyes. What did your father do?"

"From what my mother told me... and I am not sure if it is all that he has done, but one thing he apparently tortured a camper." Sofia sounds more concerned, "So I imagine that that camper may not like or hate me."

Leo took a moment to think and spoke in a semi serious tone. "I know that is bad, and I wonder if my father did anything but, you are not Hades. Hades did that, not you, you did not harm anyone. You said it was your first time here, and well, they may not hate you for something you did not do, or yeah they can be petty and treat you badly because of what your father did. But you are still heading to camp anyway and not with him."

Sofia stopped in her tracks and stared at Leo with relieved eyes. "I... that is nice of you to say. Especially, since we just met and.... " Sofia walked up to Leo and gave him a warm hug. "I hope you are right about that, or else I have another reason to hate my father." Sofia let out after a minute and had a big smile on her face. "But thanks and who is your father anyway?" She started to walk again to camp.

"Do not mention Sofia, and I hope so too, the campers will not hold anything against you for something your father did." Leo being genuine and had a half smile on his face as well until she asked him who his father was. Leo, being hesitant at first, did not sound happy about who his father was. Ares, he is my father, and I am kinda surprised he wanted me here." Leo started to walk with her again.

"Why do you sound not happy about that?" Sofia wondered and stared at Leo. "Something your father did what?"

To put it bluntly.... we had a bad first meeting." Saying it as a matter of factly.

"How did you go and did you two not click or was it something you or he said?" Sofia is now curious about what the backstory here was.

Things got heated, and I tried to punch him in the face." Saying it straight and to the point.

Sofia looked at Leo with a face that screamed, you did what now and quickly uttered a reply with a raised pitch. "Wait, you tried to legitimately try to punch your father. Ares, the god of war, in the face?"

"Well, when you say it like that..." Leo put his hands in his pockets and looked a bit ashamed, but was not. "I just got angry at him, and when he insulted my mom... I lost it, and while he did not hit me. He did almost choke me out, and for two years, I was free of him until he sent me a message about coming here to be safe." Leo does not sound like he fully realized how it all sounded until now, since this is the first time he has talked about it with someone.

Sofia, with a shocked look on her face, would only say. "That is bad Leo, I mean a parent should never harm their child or try to and..." Sofia had a disapproving look on her face as she shook it twice. "Well, I guess he still cares about you, to want to keep you safe about coming here, but why are you here?" Sofia looked with annoyed eyes, "I would just say fuck that and not listen to the old man"

"My mother is the reason I am here." Leo signed, " She was worried about my safety after getting the message, convinced me to come here. So I am here for her and not him." Leo tried to give a smile, but it would not work, and his face stayed as it was.

"That makes sense, Leo, since my reason for being here is because of my mother. Hades has so far not tried to contact me, and she wanted me to be safe from him, so here I am." Sofia took a moment to think, "I guess that means we both have reasons to not like our fathers. Funny how that works."

Leo let out a short chuckle, "Yeah, funny how that works out, and we have something else in common. Bad fathers." Leo saying it how it is and felt some relief. Since he is not the only one with a father they hate, he wondered if the story is the same for the other demigods. It would be something to him if it were, and he is not quite sure how that works if anyone hated their godly parent at camp. Like what is the point of being there in that case.

Still, as Leo started to bring a word, Sofia stopped him and pointed straight ahead. "Look, a wooden wall," Sofia exclaimed, and as Leo would soon see as well as they got closer. "I bet that is camp!"

"Finally, I was getting worried I would have to walk more today."

Sofia had a mischievous look on her face as a funny thought came to mind, and she looked at Leo."I bet I can beat you there first." She said and quickly started running to the front entrance.

"Oh, Oh no you don't," and Leo ran after her and to the front entrance.

To Sofia's folly, Leo would clearly get there first and wait for her to reach the entrance. She would stop at the front entrance despite her clear loss. "I see you are better suited to running in the snow than I am." Sofia, chin up and still looking confident with a smile on her face. "Remind me to bet on you when someone else tries to beat you in a race."

"Will do," Leo turned to inspect the front entrance. A wooden gate, and after looking around some, he found a small metal angled box that read biometric scanner. Leo's eyebrows were raised, and he looked at it confused. "Is it really that easy?" Leo said as he pressed his thumb on the scanner, and the gate opened. "Uh, I guess even a camp for demigods, they still have some magical tech and have our fingerprints.." Sounding, amazed by this discovery.

"I guess so, but it's time to go inside and see how this camp is all about." Sofia sounding a bit nervous and took a long deep breath.

"Yeah, I hope things will go well for you, Sofia, and yeah, time to see what that place is all about." Leo walked into camp. Sofia joined him, and the two walked into camp.

Soon being greeted by the sound of a loud whistle, and both turned to the source, which was a woman who was trying to get everyone's attention. After listening to what she said, Leo was amazed by Andy using magic to conjure the stuff. Leo spoke after looking around and seeing all of the new demigods. "New leadership and a party? Sounds like a good welcome to camp day. If the new leader is any good." Leo said as by he said this. He watched as Sofia started walking over to the maps, and Leo followed her.

By the time he got there, Sofia had already picked two maps out and handed one to Leo. "Thanks, and what are you going to do now?" Leo asked while looking at the map. "Find a cabin to claim?"

"Yeah, and I see that one cabin by the lake is still open, so I will make sure that it's mine before someone else takes it." Taking a look at Leo, "You do the same?"

Leo looked over at her, "Yeah, I see a spot I like, but I think after that, I will run to the main hall and get some food."

"Ah, and I think I will explore camp after claiming my spot, so I guess I'll see you later. Either before or at the party. Which ever comes first, and it is nice to have met you, Leo." Sofia looked at Leo with warm, piercing eyes. "I mean that." Saying that while trying not to sound too attached to the son of Ares.

"It was good to meet you too, Sofia, and I hope you have a good time meeting people." Leo replied.

Sofia smiled, "Same, Leo, and see you later." The two are now departing from each other. Each heading to their cabin spot and going their separate ways.
Ven Ferr

Ven watched out of the corner of his eye as Sarah got out of bed and turned his gaze towards her. Watching her movements just in case she turns hostile. They won one fight today, and surely they can win another if needed. Even in his current state, and they do outnumber her.

But luckily for him, Sarah proved to be willing to talk rather than resort to violence. For at least right now anyway, Ven listened to what Sarah had to say. So her brother took a job to deal with the Power Rangers four to five months ago. That is interesting, Ven thought as he thought of what to say. Someone wanted the Power Rangers gone well before the invasion. That is certainly a development he did not see coming.

As Sarah put up a surrender pose. Ven motioned to her to put her arms down and spoke in a friendly tone. "You can put your arms down and it is not needed, but..." Ven breathed a heavy sigh. "I know this is going to be hard for you to believe, but we know nothing about your brother. Since... we are not the same Power Rangers whom he went after." Ven was tempted to take off his helmet to prove his point, but was hesitant for now.

Ven motioned to the rest of the team, "Really, no one knows about his but, the Power Rangers you want went missing a short while ago, and we are their replacements if you can believe that." Ven then took the time to study the shapeshifter and watched for any sign of trouble. "Now, if you believe that, then maybe we can help each other out if you want, since you are no friends to the Velcons and were willing to fight them. But that is solely up to you, so what are your thoughts?" Ven hopes she will believe him, and this does not turn into a fight since he would rather have her on their side and not against them right now. But, now it is time to see what Sarsh does, and if she does not believe his words, then. Hopefully, he can still make her see the truth, but now it is time to see what happens.
