Eizo Arashi

Eizo had remained silent up to this point. Listening to what the others had to say as he was handed his letter. "Thank you, Yanagi-chan and Oyakata-sama." He respectfully said as he took a moment to look at Yanagi. It is a weird thing for him to be working with demons despite their mission to kill them all. Eizo knows how his family feels about it and only begrudgingly working with those demons the corps trusts. But there are demons out there who do not seek to kill and eat humans and still have humanity in them. A small number of demons, and Yanagi is one of those demons. Still, as long as she does not betray the corps or any of them. Then Eizo is willing to work with her, though he still finds it odd.

Which he turned his attention to the owner of the Crow in the room. Takaya. A young boy, one year younger than he was when he joined the Demon Slayer Corps. A reminder of how the Demon Slayer Corps allows teenagers in the corps. Eizo's parents wanted him to join at Takaya's age, but Akuro thought otherwise. It was nice of him to delay his midterms, even though that means he will still have to study later. He almost sighed at the thought of having to study more.

But, enough looking at people, he thought. Time to see what this letter is about, and he was surprised to see it was from Guen. What does the Water Hashira wish to write to him about?

As he read the letter and finished it. Eizo felt conflicted, not about the math stuff though, he feels an A is enough, but she wants more. Which he knows is something her husband would have wanted and, for her sake, he will try. But, the stuff about the Tsugikuni clan is what made him feel conflicted.

His family, the Arashi, are vassals to the Tsugikuni clan, and while the relationship is okay, Eizo realized that it may be the Tsugikuni clan responsible for his family's strong drive to produce Demon Slayers. A fact that Eizo does not like, and it makes him glad that he has family members who are opposed to that mindset.

While Eizo did have dreams of being a strong Demon Slayer. Becoming a Hashira was only something he could be if he earned it. Eizo is not sure if he is ready to be a Hashira, and it looks like the position of Moon Hashira has gone to someone else. He had mixed thoughts about Himari, but there was nothing he could do about it.

So he will listen to Guen's words, as the last thing he needs to worry about is getting into a rivalry with Himari or being a pawn of the Tsugikuni. Akuro, his cousin and former mentor, would not have liked that development.

Either way, it is nice to have learn of this and after reading the letter. Eizo spoke, "It seemed that Guen had some news for me, and now I know. What is the reason for us being summoned here? Since he doubted it was for something minor like letters. "What is the news?"

I'm okay with whatever. I put Todai down because I assumed we were going to be in Tokyo the most.

I left where he went to vague so he could go where it made sense. So I do not mind where he goes.
@Yu Narukami My cs is done, and tell me if I need to change anything.
Kale Grall
Aelios Temple

Now, Kale is a new at Dawnhaven and new to being a guard. Thus, he is new to some things, he needs to get used to and know the land. But, he knows a lie when he sees one. The story about chasing a thief and them turning into a weasel to escape. It sounds so ridiculous and made up, and the Ayel has the gall to say that he is in league with this made-up thief. No doubt trying to save his own skin and blame the guard for it. So that begs a question. How to prove that he is in the right and not this pompous noble?

Kale knows that he was not alone when Ayel tried to get into the priestess's chamber the first time and was stopped. So he knows one person who can back him up there. Since Ayel broke in the second time and succeeded, and for some reason wanted in. Though Kale had to mentally kick himself for letting this happen under his watch. It must have happened when he was taking a bathroom break. Not a good look on his part, but at least he is here now to stop Ayel from whatever he was doing and bring him to jail for doing this. If that happens.

For Kale is no stranger to how a noble's word is worth more than someone like them, but there is no way that he is going to be blamed for a crime that he did not commit. Especially from someone like Ayel, and on his first day no less. Kale could only bitterly sigh at the thought, and so Kale reviewed the facts.

Ayel was caught in the prietess's chambers, and the lock was clearly broken. This is the second time Ayel tried to get in today and got in after the second attempt. Kale is new to Dawnhaven and honestly does not know whether the Guard Captain will or not believe him or Ayel, despite how fake his story is. Plus, for some reason, Ayel had to be naked to make this whole scene weird. Kale made another sigh, at least he can say his first day was interesting.

But there is another factor, the woman behind him. Lady Hightower, perhaps she can help Kale make his case and not get blamed for whatever Ayel was doing. Since she is now a witness, whether he realizes that or not. So with a tired grin, Kale turned to her and spoke plainly.

"Greetings, Lady Hightower, and I apologize that this is how we first meet, but since Lord Raunefeldt is accusing me of aiding a thieving weasel and I feel like asking you this before I engage more with him." Kale is trying not to sound annoyed at Ayel. "But what do you think of his story and my somehow involvement in it?" Kale is hoping for her to side with him, but now is the time to find out.

Kale Grall
Aelios Temple

After things at the temple had quietened down, and Kale was once again alone. Despite how boring it was, as time passed. Kale managed to stay focused and not doze off. Which was a challenge considering how few people have come to the temple today, and nothing has really happened. Besides meeting the rude merchant noble Ayel Raunefeldt and seeing firsthand how his reputation was just like what the Wycrests said it was. Plus, meeting the Soleil sisters proved to be a positive encounter, despite it not lasting long.

Still, despite staying awake, Kale did take a moment to relieve himself when the time came. It took him a bit to find the right facilities, and made him miss a certain Ayel from breaking into Tia's room.

Now back, and unaware of the situation transpiring in the temple. Kale wondered how much longer he would have to stay guard, and while he knows guard duty at the temple will only last today. It felt like forever to him.

Then he had company at the temple, two people. A guard, but older than him, and a woman who were unknown to him. They did not say anything to him, and he said nothing to them. While he did not stop them, Kale did watch them, and as the woman walked to a part of the temple where Tia's room was. Kale silently followed as the last person who venture down that corridor. That person was not allowed into a room in that corridor, and as he got closer to Tia's room. Did he spot the broken lock on her door, and when the woman stumbled a few steps and spoke in a surprised tone, a name that made Kale feel angry. Lord Raunefeldt, the woman said.

So he did not listen to the first time he was told not to enter the priestess's room and broke in, Kale annoyed thought. Well, time to give him a piece of my mind, and Kale stepped into the space that was left when the woman stumbled back. As she was stunned by Ayel's appearance, Kale ignored how Ayel was dressed and spoke his mind. Saying it in a clearly annoyed tone.

"You were told not to enter this room by Champion of Aelios herself, and you still had the gall to break in! Did you forget her words, or simply ignore them and break into the priestess's chambers? What do you have to say for yourself, you arrogant man?"
