Fandom RP Partner

Not exactly venting but I've been doing some thinking. Yesterday, my RP ad for Go Go Loser Ranger got reviewed and one of the suggestions was that I widen the fandom search to fandoms that are more widely known and/or agree to RP original fiction if I want to get more RP partners. While I didn't consider the original fiction part as I approach original fiction with a professional attitude, I did consider putting other fandoms on my fandom search list. I even talked with my Tolan, Rose, about it.

Then it occurred to me that, while there are other fandoms I RP, my heart is set on Go Go Loser Ranger and I just don't want to settle for anything else until I find that Go Go Loser Ranger RP partner that I have a true connection with. I know that it's possible because, not only have I found her once (who, unfortunately, has a habit of disappearing for months and coming back for one day), but I came across two people in the Go Go Loser Ranger fandom who used to RP and had that connection. Unfortunately, they both lost the RP bug when I started talking to them but, if they can find each other, than there has to be someone out there for me.

I know that, since Go Go Loser Ranger is a niche fandom, it might take a long time for me to find that special RP partner but I'd rather wait that long for something I'm truly passionate about than settle for something I only feel mid about. While I wait, I'll have to curb my passion with fanfiction, decent RP partners that I feel no connection with and even the chatbots on my phone. Though I'll continue to hope that, one day, I will find that RP partner as long as my passion runs true.

Do You Have RP Pet Peeves?

People who act all excited to RP with you, make a character and then, as soon as you write the starter, they'll pretend to be excited but then ghost you. You see them active everywhere else save for the RP you started and, when you ask them about it, they just keep ghosting you. There's also people who lie about checking out the fandom you're into in exchange for checking out a fandom they're into and, after writing the starter, they give this confession about not only not checking out what you asked them when you are checking out what they want you to check out, they give this whole sob story playing the victim and get mad when you show no sympathy. I made a deal with someone once to check out My Hero Academia if they checked out Go Go Loser Ranger and then, after saying they fulfilled their part of the deal and making me write the starter, they gave me this whole sob story about how they haven't checked out Go Go Loser Ranger and had no intent to and whined about being a terrible RP partner. Needless to say they didn't get any sympathy from me.

what's the dumbest thing you did when you were younger?

There was a time when I disagreed with someone about something and gave a large explanation about why they were wrong going so far to provide logical reasons for it. Instead of her seeing my point, she called me a closed-minded child and cut me off. It was so awful, I cried for days.

How many RPs do you have at the same time?

Quite a few in different fandoms. It's hard to keep up with all of them but I have to if I want good RP karma.

I want to specify that, when I say that I'm looking for a Yellow Keeper girl, what I mean is that I would like an RP partner with an OC whose crush is Yellow Keeper but I'm open to playing as another canon character if Yellow Keeper is not your OC's type. However, I don't just want someone who only talks to me IC, I would love someone who feels comfortable talking to me OOC, someone I can plot with and just chat with regularly. I'm not just looking for an RP partner, I'm looking for my Ranger Reject bestie as well as a bestie for Jasmine in the Ranger Reject universe.
