tentatively interested... So, an extra read over just to make sure I didn't miss anything crucial, and it's pretty clear to me this is either in, or similar to, the original 2 seasons (especially with the armor eggs), am I right?

Modern setting, horror. A university and the surrounding city find themselves experiencing a series of strange events and unnatural encounters. This is a universe where the events of stories such as "Frankenstein" and "The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" etc., weren't fiction, although much of the truth surrounding the tales were suppressed/misrepresented deliberately.
Open to improv, which will hopefully better encourage more creative, proactive rp. Emphasis on atmosphere.

"Endless Autumn"; spooky adventures/scary encounters in an odd little town, where nobody seems to notice or question how the town (and surrounding area) is in a perpetual state of October... What are the things that skulk about in the wee hours of the night, when the street lights turn off? What secrets does this community hide? And why, oh why, do so few citizens really seem to notice any of this??
You should check out "After The Bomb", it's almost exactly this, except humans are theantagonists

The two who've been directly challenged, I'm going to come up with a deck for vampire Serenity and Renfield Tristan respectively, you'll have an opportunity to duel them properly, the rest of you will have a little more freedom of actions; you're still taking turns, like Wheeler in the opening post, but you're also free to move around and the effects of some cards will have broader effects, for example, multiple creatures can be affected by a single trap or spell, and more powerful monsters can sweep away multiple enemies; there's a swarm surrounding you, feel free to "dynasty warriors" these things as they try to gang up on you
