I am longer RickyG; Toad King was something my son called me when he was, like, 3, as a compliment. I was sitting on a stoop between some little toad statues or something, he thought it was cool.

I'm surprised I'm not seeing more ideas popping up for rp's... I may be forced to try past ideas of my own, again, which I'm sure will go just GREAT...

Bio

Bios are stupid; oh, sure, everyone can see them, but I bet nobody reads them.

Rude hand gestures and shpadoinkle, there.

No, I wasn't drunk when I wrote this, but I was very tired.

A strong wind, and a crash, and Allyn now see's the wings of a standing gargoyle!

All 4 of the gargoyles are standing in a circle, now staring at the crumpled remains of the ghoul that one of them had just crushed.

The 4 sentinels proceed to lay into the undead victim, pounding, ripping, and tearing. Bones crack and break, and the rending of half rotted flesh is audible. as if that wasn't enough, the sound of what is presumably blood and gore dropping on the grass rolls through the air like rain drops.

Suddenly, just as quickly as it began, the sound stopped...
Edit: posted!

And how is Allyn handling this? Does he watch? glance or peek at some point?
ok, added a CS, and I'll also remind applicants to read the whole original post, as it does include a description of the average appearance of Insecterrans. I'm debating using my (at best, mediocre) art skills to work up visual aids
Alright, having a quick re-read, and post incoming!

@Birdboy were we positioned and moving together?
Is this still open? I would love to be a fun little bug guy. How does this sound?

Name: Solen the Fool
Age: 17
height: 4'8"
Weight: 120 lbs

Personality: Solen is a timid boy, but he craves knowledge and thrives in chaos. He tends to prefer isolation purely because he is not an instigator and does not enjoy the average rigamarole of daily life. He isn't rude or stoic, and to most people, he is a rather pleasant, patient, and forgiving person. Solen tends to let people take advantage of him or use him for their benefit; he struggles with saying 'no'.

Solen is, however, brave in the face of true danger. Where others might be cowardly and flee, Solen is undeterred. He fights through his fear, and his good nature requires that he put himself at risk for others. Solen is also undeterred by the strange, peculiar, and unusual. He is a man of science and wizardry, and more than anything,g is a curious critter. So much so that he can sometimes overlook his safety for a chance at making a discovery. This has led to many problems in his apprenticeship, as his attempts at breaking new ground often result in fires, unintended hexes, and other such issues.

Bio: Solen knows very little about where he came from. Solen remembers tunnels and burrows, and thousands of people who looked just like him. He remembers a great hustle and a collapsed tunnel, then his memories do not pick up until he in an infirmary, being tended to by distressed nurses. He was a refugee, according to them, taken here with a crowd of many of his kind. There are still cracks in his exoskeleton that remind him of his injury, an injury that nearly took his life.

Without a home, without a family, Solen became another hungry refugee scouring for food. His luck would finally give him a break when a wise and powerful wizard took him in. This was none other than the illustrious Father Roach, a clerical master of Pollens who cured injuries and diseases in the name of righteousness... Or so Solen thought. Quickly, he realized the truth of Father Roach, that he is an extortionist. While talented in his craft, he charges a fortune for his skills and primarily aids the wealthy and elite. In truth, he had only taken Solen in to aid him in his work. Still, Father Roach occasionally gave Solen valuable lessons in magic. Lessons that did not fall on deaf ears. Solen became an insatiable learner, absorbing any new magical knowledge he could get his hands on. Father Roach still keeps him on a tight leash, always needing someone to tidy up and to heal the minor injuries for him, but Solen is prone to wandering and experimenting. For his many accidents in his attempts at learning on his own, and for his tendency to wander into places others dare not go, Solen had been given the title of 'fool' by his peers. They mock and jeer him, but Solen is determined to keep up his pursuit of knowledge!

lol I like the Orko vibe I get from the picture. Later tonight I'll give this a more thorough read.

It's been on the back burner for quite some time, but I could maybe give this another shot if I had 2-3 more players (at least one of whom willing to be the isekai'd)
Success!

Feel free to edit your post, because WAIT- where have the gargoyles gone!?
No worries! And since you're looking around, give me another Notice!

Cool, I'll edit the post asap

I edited this morning.

I forgot to share a bonus video this past weekend, have you been enjoying those, or could you live without them?
Question for this first round is, how are you approaching the objective?

Albert would propose no more than a single combat model accompany him as armed escort, the rest gang up on the enemy myrmodon, ultimately for the purpose of "just keep any real obstacles off my back while I wreck their shit!"
Can't help you; Google Images is exactly what I did ^_^U
